It wasn't till dinner the next day when piper was able to talk to Reyna again. She sat down with her "So I wasn't able to get ahold of my dad but I was able to get ahold of His managers who told me that Rafael had worked with my dad before. Said he was really picky about everything being perfect but that he was a great Photographer." She started eating her food
"Well that's good to here. At least he's not lying about that" Reyna said looking a little relieved. She looked down at her plate and started pushing the small mound of pasta from side to side not really interested in eating. "I don't know if I can actually meet him again."
Piper stopped eating. "You have to. I'll go with you." She reached over and took Reyna's free hand. "Everything will be fine." She said adding in just a touch of her charm speak.
Reyna just sighed. "I guess you're right.' She took a bight of her food. The Rest of the night passed as normal and Reyna thanked gods that Piper hadn't pressed her about Rafael.
It was the day she was supposed to meet Rafael and Reyna was a bundle of nerves. She had stayed up all night only to realize she suddenly didn't like any of her street cloths. She went to the large cabin that had been built to house there Greek guest. Half of the building was for the guys and the other for girls. She knocked on the door to the girl's side before entering. She found piper sitting on a bed lacing up a pair of boots.
"Why aren't you ready yet!" she said jumping up.
Reyna bit her lip. "I don't like anything I have to where." She admitted.
Piper led Reyna to a makeup table. "Well deal with that in a minute first let's paint you up." She said smiling. She quickly did Reyna's makeup and styled her hair. "Wow." Reyna said looking at herself in the mirror. "How?"
"I may not act like it most of the time but I am the daughter of Aphrodite." She said slightly smugly. "And you're naturally beautiful so it's not hard." She put the makeup away "Now let's go see what we have to Work with cloths wise."
They walked back to Reyna's cabin and Piper was in shock there where piles of cloths strewn everywhere. Thankfully they were organized piles she took a quick look and instantly found an outfit. There was a cobalt blue tea dress a pair of thick grey wool leggings a leather jacket and combat boots. "These" Piper said handing them to Reyna "I'll be outside as you change."
Reyna quickly changed. She looked at herself in the mirror as she laced up her boot. "Piper are you sure?" She called out. She never would have guessed it was her standing there.
Piper came back in. "Wow It looks amazing. Let's go before you chicken out." She said practical dragging Reyna out.
Reyna was verily aware of the strange looks and shocked whispers of the Romans as she was dragged through the form by Piper. They quickly reached Daphne's Greek Café and Rafael was already there. He saw them and stood up. "Hey, I was scared you weren't going to show up. You disappeared so fast last time." He said pulling out a seat for Reyna. "Hello," he said holding out his hand to Piper "My name is Rafael." He said after a quick handshake he pulled a chair out for Piper as well.
"My names Piper." She said as she sat down.
He smiled at Piper But his eyes quickly fixed on Reyna. Witched shocked both of the girls. No one looked away from and Aphrodite kid unless they were truly in love with someone else. "I never got your name by the way." He said to Reyna who instantly blushed.
"I'm sorry I was quiet flustered last time. My names Reyna." A waitress came over to them to take their orders everyone ordered coffee and Trigona Panoramatos (Pastries with Custard). She came back quickly with their drinks and desert. "So, what made you so interested in Reyna?" Piper asked.
"She's just perfect?" he said as if that explained everything. Piper laughed softly she was obviously a third wheel to their infatuation with each other. "So what do you say Reyna, Will you model for the Photos?"
Reyna sighed. "Only if Piper Models for some." She said not quite sure why. Piper was so shocked she almost choked on her coffee.
"Are you crazy if my dad found out I did a photo shoot without telling him I'd never here the end of it. And could you imagine my mother! O my darling Piper I knew you had it in you to do it. No. no way!"
"But Piper please." Reyna said looking at her friend with wide puppy dog eyes.
"Fine but If I get anything from my dad because he found out I'm kicking your ass."
"Come on what would he even say?" Reyna asked
"O I don't know. Piper McLean why didn't you tell me you wanted to model…. Blablabla, I could have set it up for you. Blablabla, doing something without telling me. Something along those lines. Then he'd show up at the camp and throw a fit. You don't know my dad he can be so over dramatic." She said
"Alright then so would that work?" Reyna asked Rafael.
"Umm yea. That would be great." He looked at Piper. "Did… Did you say McLean?"
"Yea, you've actually worked with my dad before. So it's exactly who you're thinking it is." She said blushing ever so slightly since she was used to hiding that fact about herself.
"I see... So when would you like to do the shoot? The deadline for the pictures is two weeks" he said smiling.
"Will tomorrow be too soon?" Piper asked taking control over the situation as Reyna was obviously lost in her own world.
"Maybe I might not be able to get a makeup team in that soon." He said biting the inside of his cheek
"As long as you have the outfits we can pull together a small makeup team." Piper assured him.
"Tomorrow then." He said he pulled out a small business card. "This has the studio address on it. Could you be there at about noon?"
"No problem." She told him. "We have to go now but we'll see you tomorrow." She had to practically drag Reyna away from the table.
"Bye" both Rena and Rafael said at the same time.
