Scene Starts

Fiona fox is piloting a hovercraft and sets down somewhere not too far from the Freedom Fighters headquarters. Fiona sets up a short range teleporter device and then camouflages it to match the surrounding area (It's quite large and ends up looking like two trees with a vine connecting the two). She then flies to another area a bit closer to the Freedom Fighters headquarters and erases the flight recorder for the hovercraft. She then camouflages the hovercraft. She gets out and walks on foot towards the Freedom Fighters headquarters. She is dressed in her old orange and white jumpsuit from when she was with the freedom fighters and is carrying a satchel over her shoulder.

Antoine and Bunnie happen to be outside talking when they see Fiona approach. Bunnie immediately flies down to challenge Fiona and Antoine goes to raise the alarm. As Bunnie comes towards Fiona she pulls a white flag out of her satchel and waives it with a coy smile. Bunnie slows down to hover above her.

Fiona: " Hi Bunnie, I've come here to talk . I have very important information about an attack coming from Eggman"

Bunnie: "You have some nerve coming here. You certainly aren't here out of concern for us"

Fiona: "Just take me to see Sally"

Fiona is escorted inside the FF HQ , she is searched and nothing out of the ordinary is found on her except for an electronic tablet device found in her satchel. It's scanned for explosives and is deemed safe. All the Freedom Fighters gather as Fiona is brought into the control room along with the device.

Fiona: (Enters the room escorted by Bunnie and Antoine) (Sally, Amy, and Nicole are already there) "Hi Sally, this place has changed quite a bit" (looks around being careful not to look at all the people frowning at her)

Sally: "Cut the pleasantries Fiona, no one here wants to be in your company"

Fiona: (Feeling the hatred like radiated heat) "Awww what's with all the upside down smiles?"

(Sonic and Tails walk in)

Sonic: "Hey Fi, you just out for a walk or something?" (The only one that smiles)

Tails: (Just looks and stays silent)

Fiona: "Look I will make this short and sweet so you all can follow. I came across some certain data and cross-referenced it with some Egmman communications and found you are going to be attacked soon by Eggman"

Sally: (in disbelief) "Really? Because that hardly ever happens around here"

Fiona: "Ha ha, seriously there is a definite attack soon."

Sally: "When?"

Fiona: "Ah, ah, ahh… lets discuss the deal before we get to the details"

Sally: (Folds her arms)"What is it?"

Fiona: "I happen to know you have some crystal fragments from Younderknot"

Sally: (Stares at her wondering how she knew)

(Nicole, Bunnie and Antoine exchange looks as that information was secret)

Sally: "Okay and just how do you know that?"

Fiona: "I have my sources, here's the deal, you give me the crystal fragments and I give you the code to the file on the tablet I brought. It has diagrams that show the weakness of the opponent you will face"

Sally: "What's to stop us from decryption the file on the tablet right now" (Picks it up off the table and hands it to Nicole)

Fiona: (Smiles and gestures) "Be my guest"

Nicole: (Scans the device and then not sensing any danger hooks up the Electronic Tablet to herself and connects to the device)"There are 80,000 of files on this device"

Fiona: (Grins)

Sally: "We will just decrypt them all"

Fiona: (Snidely) "Go ahead"

Nicole: (Takes about a minute) "I got one done"

Sally: "That took a while. Why Nicole?"

Nicole: "The interface on this device is really ancient and crude, this file is full of garbage, its random numbers"

Fiona: (folds her arm) "Exactly how long did it take?"

Nicole: (A bit reluctant to answer Fiona and says the answer to Sally) "It took 1.21 minutes"

Fiona: "Ok you brainiacs, with 80,000 files at 1.21 seconds… how many days Nicole?"

Nicole: (again answers to Sally and not Fiona) "26.88889 days… if I move it to my systems I can speed up the decryption much faster…. Oh no! the crude interface device will severely degrade the copy process!"

Fiona: "It's called USB 1.0" (With an air of a know-it-all)

Nicole: (folds down her ears and looks defeated as she tries to think)

Tails: (raises his hand) "Hey we could pop open the case and go directly to the memory chips"

Fiona: (Looks at Tails and smirks) "Oh WOW Tails" (then looks at the others) "There's a true genius for you, you were always the smartest one of this bunch. However, the case is specially made with pressure switches. Any tampering with the case will cause the board to fry and all the data with it"

Sally: (places her hands on the table and looks down at the tablet in thought) "How long to transfer the files to yourself Nicole?"

Nicole: (thinking as the interface device is slow) "There's a petabyte worth of data in there. That will take us much longer than the decryption of each file!"

Fiona: (smirks as everything has played out the way she has planned so far)

Amy: "Why are we even bothering with the device? She knows the weakness of whatever it is Eggman is sending after us in her head"

Fiona: (Said snidely) "Amy, did you figure that all out on your own?"

Amy: (turning red in the face)"GRRRRR"

Fiona: "You were always a big mouth with a hammer"

Amy: "OH THAT DOES IT! JUST GIVE ME A MINUTE WITH HER" (twirls her hammer in her hand about to go "piko" her)

Sonic: (interrupts Amy) "Oh Amy, calm down, I don't care about the electronic doohickey, I can take whatever Eggman has got for us, I have every time"

Fiona: "Sure blu, but you haven't seen anything like this, trust me, if you fight this thing your friends will get hurt"

Sonic: (folds his arms) "You would know about hurting friends"
(There is some grumbling and Tails looks down)

Sally: (Is more annoyed at the "blu" comment) "And this is your big plan? Come in here and blackmail us about some fictional attack with some specially made puzzle device for a box of crystal fragments?"

Fiona: "Oh I assure you the attack is very much REAL"

Sally: (Folding her arms) "No deal"

Fiona: (surprised) "What? Sally you need to seriously rethink this"

Sally: "I have, I'd rather put my trust in Nicole and Sonic than you"

Tails: "Hey I can help Nicole"

Sally: "Thank you Tails" (Gives him a smile)

Fiona: (Looks over at Tails and smiles too)

Sally: (Notices Fiona smiling and frowns immediately) "Bunnie and Antoine, take this uninvited guest here to a prison cell. We will start preparing for this attack ASAP"

Fiona: "Hmmph "

After about two hours has past (Sonic, Tails, Nicole, and Sally are in the control room)

Nicole: "We haven't found the right file, everything has been filled with random data. It's like a needle in a haystack"

Tails: (Who has been helping Nicole) "Do you even think she even put the file in here? Maybe this is a wild goose chase"

Sally: "What do you mean Tails?"

Tails: "Well maybe we should talk to her?"

Sally: "You mean like you?"

Sonic: "Whoa, hold up buddy, that's not a good idea, remember our last encounter with her, she is trouble Tails"

Tails: "Well you have no problem talking to her"

Sonic: (Smirks as he's pretty good with the ladies and then realizes he's being a bit of an jerk) "Hey I'm just saying I can handle her… well you know" (then realizing this didn't help his position too much)

Sally: (rolls her eyes at Sonic) "Tails, it's probably not a good idea, she is very manipulative and will trick you"

Tails: "It was just a thought" (I can't stop thinking about her now that she is here)

About an hour later Sonic gets bored and takes off to check on something more interesting. Sally has been working on getting reinforcements in the form of the New Mobotropolis militia troops and preparing for the attack. Sally comes to Tails who is yawning from all the work of trying to speed of the decryption.

Sally: "I have been thinking about you talking to Fiona, in a way it might just be a good idea, if you can just get her talking she may slip up and say something. But this is all up to you. I'm not going to force you to do this."

Tails: "Really? I don't think I'm getting anywhere here (pointing to the tablet device). What should I say?"

Sally: "Whatever comes to your mind, just let her talk"

Tails: (Leaves for the prison cell)

Bunnie: "You didn't tell him that we will be watching on the monitor"

Sally: "If I tell him that or give him a script to follow Fiona will pick up on it immediately and not tell us anything. Nicole, are we ready?"

Nicole: "I am, but I don't like the idea of listening in on this, what do you think he will talk about with her?"

Sally: "I want both of you to promise me you will not repeat any of this to anyone, understand? I know this will be personal but we need to take a chance here and hope for the best"

Bunnie: (runs her hand through her hair thinking about it and looks at Sally and nods)

Tails walks in the prison area where Fiona is at. (Sally, Bunnie, and Nicole are watching from the control room)

Fiona: (Laying on the bed behind bars) sees Tails and shakes her head as she turns her body and gets up "Well this is an unexpected surprise…"

Tails: "Uh uh hi Fiona" (Sort of looking down and then at her)

Fiona: Smirks "You're here all by yourself (looking around for others), who sent you?"

Tail: "Uhhh no one"

Fiona: (That's a lie, but I'll let it slide) "Oh really? And why are you here?"

Tails: "I want to… to… to talk"

Fiona: "About what Tails?" (Folding her arms)

Tails: "About… about back when you and Scourge"

Fiona: "Tails! Do you really want to do this? Shouldn't you be decrypting those files?"

Tails: "Fiona, please I need this, I need to know"

Fiona: sigh "Fine… I'm not going anywhere, what is it?"

Tails: "When you… What you said… what did you mean when?"

Fiona: "Oh god! sighs You are not making any sense, let me just say this! Hitting you was heat of the moment thing. I really wanted to slap Sonic like Sally did. Then fate intervened and you dropped in out the sky, literally… then it suddenly occurred to me…. Hitting Sonic wouldn't do anything, he would just laugh it off and I was just another girl he had fun with in his non-comitial hero life. hmmp You changed my plan. While Sonic wouldn't care if he himself got hurt…. seeing someone else get hurt would hurt him where it really counts, and seeing his best friend hurt… you just made that so convenient."

Tails: (Staring blankly at her and after a second says) " Scourge… do you… do you?

Fiona: "Yes.. Yes I love him. At least I got him to commit to me! (Smirks and causally looks around for the hidden camera) I really hope the best of luck to Sally…. She will need it"

Sally: (Grips the table tightly and stares at the screen, Bunnie and Nicole notice her reaction)

Tails: (starts to cry putting his head down in his hands)

Fiona: "What did you expect? (Shaking her head) "Is that good enough for you?" (Then realizing it's a bit harsh) "Oh why do I even bother, this will be over in an hour…." (She pauses and realizes her mistake)

(Inside the control room Sally smiles "BINGO, gotchta Fiona!")

Fiona: (said in a fluster manner) "oh my god…. I can't believe this… oh this is … Tails you sly little fox… you got me to drop my guard… Is this your first try at this game? You won"

Tails: (looks up sobbing and devastated)"Fiona… I don't like this game!"(Hangs his head back down and cries and sobs loudly)

Fiona: (Swiftly taken back by the pain in Tails face takes a step back and she feels a sudden sickness course through herself and turns around and says out loud to those listening) "Oh I hope you are happy Sally! I know it's you! This has you written all over it!"

(Sally stares at the screen, she whispers "Tails I'm so sorry")

Tails: (gets up and runs for the door)

Fiona: (turns and screams) "Hey Tails!"

Tails: (Stops at the door and looks at Fiona)

Fiona: (Her expression changes to that of sorrow) "I forgive you" (this is Sally's fault, your just an innocent pawn our little game)

Tails: (runs out sobbing)

Sally: (Turns to Nicole) "Get to Tails, make sure he's ok and no one finds out"

Nicole: "Ok" (Fades out to intercept Tails)

Sally: (Looks at Bunnie for some sort of reassurance in Bunnies eyes at what she did was right)

Bunnie: (Senses this and moves to hug Sally) "Look what's done is done, what we do with what life deals us is who we are"

Sally: (Looks up at Fiona on the screen) "I just hope I don't ever go as far as her"

Bunnie: "Don't worry we are all her to make sure that doesn't happen"

Sally calls together everyone and tells them she had a talk with Fiona and she got her to divulge the timing of the attack. They need to be ready in less than an hour.

Sonic: "Where is Tails? That's odd why isn't he working on the doohickey"

Sally: (looking to switch Sonic's attention) "He's been working for hours so he took a break, do you think you will be able to take on the Eggman opponent?"

Sonic: (Shifts into a fighting stance and smiles at Sally) "Oh no need to worry Sal, it's as good as busted!"

Meanwhile at the Robotnik city Eggman is pacing back and forth

Eggman: "How much longer? This Battlebot has got me so excited. This special weapon is just devious. Sonic's own power used against him and everyone around him, I can't wait."

Eggman lackey: "Actually we are done early, Sir. It's all loaded and powered up"

Eggman: "Then don't just stand there, FIRE AWAY!"

With a whoosh the rocket carrying the attack force shoots off towards the Freedom Fighters HQ.
Nicole senses the rocket approaching with her RADAR and tells Sally, Sally quips that it hasn't been an hour. Sally then orders people everyone to get ready. Tails shows up and tells Sonic he is staying back to try to work some techno magic on the Electronic Tablet Fiona brought. Sonic feels this is fine sense he will be out of danger and Tails has come through before on tasks like this before.

The invading Eggman rocket splits into many different warheads and each one thumps into the ground poking up. There is one huge warhead in the middle. Then hatches open and the Robotnik fighters come out. The huge warhead splits apart and within it rises a massive Battlebot with a huge shield with strange concaved circles on the front of it. The concaved shield is almost as tall as the Battlebot itself. The Battlebot steps forth raising its concaved shield and lumbers towards the Freedom Fighters HQ. The FF team and the New Mobotropolis Militia troops form a defensive line under Sally's command.

Meanwhile at the HQ Fiona has found the camera and is banging on it. Tails who happens to be the only one in the control room hears the sound.

Fiona: "Hey out there, what's going on? I heard a loud sound"
Tails: (switches over to the monitor that is looking at Fiona and Is about to click on the microphone but then stops, shake his head and goes back to trying to decrypt the tablet files.)

Back outside Sonic gets impatient and charges the Robotnik fighters before they get to the defensive line and clears a path to the Battlebot with the concaved shield. Sally screams for him to come back but realizes this is what always happens. Sonic thinks this is going to be so darn easy. He's the hedgehog shield breaker after all. He spin-dashes straight at the Battlebot and it braces for impact with its concaved shield. Sonic bounces off the concaved shield and a massive subsonic vibration emanates from the shield like a huge Gong. The sound wave slams into the ground causing a rolling effect like a water wave but with dirt instead. The sound wave hits the Robotnik troops before it and they fall over. Sonic has hops the wave as it comes by him and feels a weird sensation in his ear. The wave subsides right at the front line of the FF forces with the Militia troops. A few of them are knocked over by the rolling sound wave. Sonic thinks this is the stupidest weapon as it knocks over its own troops and didn't see what it did to Sally's defensive line. Then the Robotnik troops get back up seemingly unaffected and continue marching on. Sally screams for Sonic to stop but he doesn't hear her. Sonic zooms around and comes to attack the Battlebot again, however it has now moved closer to the defensive line and Sonics spin attack again sends another wave of earth outward knocking over everything in its path. This wave reaches farther in the defensive line and scatters most of the defenders. The knocked over Robotnick troops get up once again and then engage the defensive line in short range fire and melee combat. Sonic sees what happened this time to the defensive line and speeds away from the Battlebot wondering if he should attack again, if he does his friends will get hurt.

Fiona: (Screaming at the camera) "You need me! You have no idea how to defeat this thing. I know the weak point"

Tails: (Looking up at the monitor seeing the earthen wave trashing the defensive line and then gasps in horror. He clicks the microphone to Fiona.) "Fiona, tell me which file it is"

Fiona: "Tails? Never mind that, open this cage and I will help you, I know where to tell Sonic to attack."

Tails: "Then tell me and I will tell him"

Fiona: "That's not how the game works Tails"

Tails: "I don't like your games"

Back outside Bunnie disengages from fighting the smaller Robotnik troops and flies over the top of the Battlebot. She says "let's just see how this likes a blast from ma cannon". She fires straight down at the Battlebot from overhead but the Battlebot sees her and it raises its concaved shield to block. The blast from Bunnie's arm cannon is translated and is amplified even more than Sonics spin-dash. The wave of earthen matter radiate in a full circle and farther than ever before. Everyone that is grounded is flung into the air, scattered like kids blocks on a knocked over table. Robotnik fighters, Freedom Fighters, and Militia Troops are tossed about in a jumbled mass. The Robotnik robots get back up without much affect to them as they are specially made for the sonic vibration. However the living creatures are stunned and their inner ear is wracked by the massive subsonic concussion. They have trouble standing and getting back into the fight. The Robotnik troops now are gaining the advantage. Bunnie from her bird's eye view watches all this in horror. She can't believe her own attack has shattered the defenders and disengages the Battlebot to help the defensive line.

Back at HQ

Tails: (Sees the massive wave from Bunnie's attack hit the defensive line and decides he has to risk letting Fiona out. He clicks the switch to open the cage for Fiona)

Tails: "Fiona please help!" he says over the microphone.

Nicole senses that the cage for Fiona was just opened fades back to try to intercept her. Fiona runs out of the cage and heads for a certain spot knows about from her time as a Freedom Fighter. Nicole tracks Fiona and is coming to intercept her and the two meet with Fiona's hand on the main power switch to the FF HQ. Nicole realizes that she is cutting the power but can't stop her. The lights go out and the emergency lights come on, poor Nicole fades out with a fizz. Tails is on his way to the prison aera when it gets dark and then the emergency lights come on. He gets a sinking feeling it's Fiona doing. Fiona passes by Rotor's workshop and comes to a stop as she looks inside, she runs inside Rotor's workshop and in a brief moment comes back out carrying two objects. She meets Tails in the hallway; Fiona doesn't even stop to talk as she runs past Tails.

Tails: "Fiona! Hey stop, what happen to the power?"

Fiona: (Looking back at Tails yells) "Come on! I don't have time to explain"

(They both run outside and the FF HQ is on a hill overlooking the battlefield)

Sonic is trying a new tactic of trying to circle and do smaller attacks against the Battlebot with the concaved shield. The problem is these smaller attacks don't do much damage. Most of the time the Battlebot manages to block his attack with the concaved shield and couple of times managed to swat him with it.

Bunnie is about the only one doing the trashing of the Robotnik troopers on the defensive line. All the others are trying reform a new defensive line under Sally's command or help the wounded.

At the top of the hills Fiona puts down the first object which is a heavy mining laser. The second is a big battery pack.

Fiona: "I need a heck of a lot of power; can you set this thing to maximum frying power?" (She plugs in the battery pack to the mining laser. It starts up with a hum)

Tails: (looks at it and flips a bunch of switches on the battery pack and then clicks one on the laser and looks at Fiona) "I put it all in one shot"

Fiona: "That's all I need" (She smiles and hoists the mining laser on her shoulder like a rifle)

Meanwhile Sonic is getting very annoyed with this Battlebot with the concaved shield and backs up. He thinks he will try to do some sort of spin-dash bank shot off something to try to get around the shield. The massive Battlebot stands still waiting for him to come with the concaved shield ready. A bright blue straight line appears on the Battlebots neck area and for a brief period it only smokes on the metal, then a split second later it bursts through the other side of the Battlebot's neck. The Battlebot with the shield shudders then stops still. Everyone stops and looks up at the HQ.

Fiona blows the smoke off the barrel of the laser.

In the distance Sally can be heard screaming "Tails! NO! NO! NO!"

Tails: (Smiles and is amazed the shot worked) "Fiona, you did it!"

Fiona: (drops the mining laser on the ground) "Tails, we did it… look I'm sorry…" (She wraps her tail around Tails' Tails)

Tails: "Sorry?" (Feels her tail wrapped around his and looks up at her) "Sorry about what?"

Fiona: (puts her glove on his cheek and briefly caresses it) "About this" (Then quickly moves her glove from his cheek to gripping his shoulder and then throws him down the hill)

Sonic who saw the laser pierce the robot he was battling and stops in front of it and watches it sputter and stand still, he looks to see where the shot came from. See's Fiona with Tails and then curiously watches Fiona touch Tails on the cheek. So taken in by this he doesn't see the Battlebot concaved shield tilting forward. Then he sees Fiona throw tails down the hill, he's about to run but suddenly sees the shadow of the concaved shield on the ground and as it falls on him.

Tails rolls down the hill and lands on the ground and then looks up. Sally comes up to him and shakes her head and then screams for help to give chase to Fiona. The only one besides Sally that can break free from the remaining Robotnik troopers is Mina. Mina just happened to be around when Sally called up for reinforcements from New Mobotropolis and came to help her old friends. Fiona runs back inside the FF HQ to the control room, she starts trashing the room looking for anything that might contain the crystal fragments. She sees Rotor's electronic tablet on the table.

Fiona: (maybe it has a clue. He's an old school geek. He probably downloads everything on the tablet. Geeks are particular like that)

She doesn't have time to read it so she stashes it in her boot. Fiona suddenly thinks she might know where the crystal fragments are and runs towards another room and starts searching it. Mina and Sally go inside the HQ and see the power is out, they restore power. When the lights go on Fiona knows it's time to leave and abandons the crystal fragment search. Nicole comes back online. Nicole tells Sally and Mina that Fiona is going out the back door. Fiona runs out the back door and a few minutes later Mina and Sally emerge to give pursuit. As Fiona is running in the forest she has to stop, the tablet she has in her boot makes running fast difficult so she pops the case and takes the memory chip out, she stuffs the chip in her boot and flings the tablet into the forest. The chip is much smaller.

Mina: (Running with Sally) "Should I go ahead, I am faster!"

Sally: "Okay… yes… but be very careful Fiona is an expert fighter, just try to delay her"

Mina: "Sure got it" (I'm going to take that traitor down!)

Fiona gets to her hovercraft and starts to pull off the camouflage. Just then Mina shows up.

Fiona: (Seeing Mina stops and drops the camouflage cover) "Mina? Oh my god. Please don't tell me you want to fight. I really don't want to hurt you"

Mina: (Very upset) "You traitor! We were friends! Now I'm going to take you in!"

Fiona: (does her stretch/chest pump/fighting pose) "Fine, have it your way"

Mina lunges and swings a couple of times at Fiona, but she is able to dodge them as she side-fades one way then the other. Fiona strikes with a series of punches and then lands a kick on Mina who winches from the pain of each of the blows. Mina can't believe how Fiona is beating her as she is bigger and stronger than Fiona. Mina counters with more punches and manages to land one on Fiona's shoulder. Fiona smirks from the shoulder punch and knows Mina will press her attack charging at her. As Mina lunges at her Fiona grabs by her arm swings around to get behind her on her back.

Fiona: "Nice punch Mina, but it's not good enough!" (stomps her boot on Mina's calf and Mina howls in pain as Fiona then delivers a hard punch to the back of Mina's head which causes Mina to fall to the ground)

Mina: (Dazed, stunned, and in immense pain from her calf, she only manages to whimper out) "Fiona…."

Fiona: (not feeling very happy about beating up Mina) "I'm sorry Mina, you shouldn't have tried. I'm a different person now. I'm not that wallflower brainy girl anymore"

Fiona gets in the hovercraft and starts it up. She slowly rises as Sally comes out of the forest and jumps onto the engine deck for the hovercraft. Fiona hears Sally land on the metal deck and spins around. As she let's go of the controls the hovercraft safety system automatically puts itself into a neutral holding pattern as the auto pilot has not been set yet.

Fiona: (jumps up to the engine deck and faces Sally)
Sally: (quickly glances at Mina on the ground and then at Fiona) "Didn't take it easy with her did you?"
Fiona: "She's a big girl Sally"
Sally: (shifts into her fighting stance) "I've been waiting for a rematch"
Fiona: (does her stretch/chest pump/fighting pose)
Sally: "Will you stop it with that stupid pose!"
Fiona: "It's only stupid if it doesn't work"

Sally comes at her with a couple of punches and Fiona blocks them. Fiona returns with multiple strikes and manages to get past Sally's blocks with one hit on her shoulder. Sally attacks back and gets a body blow on Fiona's side. Fiona then catches the next punch thrown by Sally and swings Sally around and pushes her off the engine deck…

During all this time Bunnie has finished fighting the Robotnik troops and has been flying toward the scene. She sees Sally and Fiona fighting on the engine deck. She speeds up as she sees Fiona throw Sally over the edge…

Sally has managed to hang on the side of the hovercraft. Fiona looks down at Sally who looks up back up at her. Then Fiona senses something and turns her head. She only has the faint glimpse of Bunnie as her metal fist strikes her in the muzzle and she goes down inside the hovercraft. Bunnie then pulls Sally back into the hovercraft.

Fiona wakes up with a massive pain in her muzzle jaw and a major headache. She can feel her muzzle lips swelling up. She is still in the hovercraft and sees Sally and Bunnie helping Mina into the hovercraft. They put Mina down and Bunnie goes to pilot the hovercraft while Sally sees Fiona is awake. Sally grabs Fiona by her neck.

Sally: (grabbing Fiona by her neck) "What did you do to Mina? She can't walk!"
Fiona: "Calm down! I hit her soleus muscle. I can fix it if you let me"
Mina: "I don't want her touching me"
Sally: "Mina you have to trust me" (Shoves Fiona over to Mina) "Do it!"
Fiona: (kneels down and massages Mina's soleus muscle on her leg to release the tension) "Better?"
Mina: (looks at Fiona and grits her teeth and in split second is on top of Fiona trying to punch her several times)
Fiona: (manages to get her arms up to block the blows but it still hurts to have your own arms smashed into you)
Sally: (pulls Mina off with the help of Bunnie and Mina cries and sits down)

Sally goes to the controls to fly the hovercraft while Bunnie stands guard

Fiona: (stands up and fishes around in her muzzle and finds a chipped tooth in her mouth)(She holds it out to Bunnie) "Souvenir Bunnie?"
Bunnie: (just stares at her for a moment, feeling disturbed by her friendly fire incident)"Go t' hell Fiona" (in a low growl voice)
Fiona: (Flicks the tooth out of the hovercraft) "I'm just arriving there" (she turns to see the HQ below with all the wounded FF forces and militia personal trying to help each other)

All the Robotnik troops have been beaten and the forces are in mop up mode now.

The FF forces and militia personal see the hovercraft approaching and go towards it. They want to see if Fiona was caught. They all stare at her when the hovercraft lands, while she did take out the Battlebot that doesn't make everything alright. Fiona tries to stand tall but her muzzle starts to bleed a little.

Amy: "Hey Fiona how's that's big fat lip feeling? Which one of you gave Fiona it? (Looking at Bunnie, then Sally)

Fiona: (before Sally or Bunnie can answer) "It was Mina"

A waves of congratulatory cheers go up for Mina, as people pad her on the back, Mina is totally bewildered by this and tries to protest. Sally and Bunnie look at each other and Bunnie motions that she doesn't care about it. Sally thinks this is just another Fiona mind game because she can.

Sonic: (Steps forward and rubs his head from the Battlebot shield landing on him) "Nice shot Fi, but why is it I get the feeling you did it for yourself."

Fiona: Hmmp "It was Tails' idea, I was just a better shot than him" (The crowd mummers at this statement)

Tails: (Comes forth but seems oblivious to the last statement) "Fiona…"

Sally: "Tails! We don't need this, no more of it!" (Annoyed that he let Fiona out in the first place)

Tails: (looks down)

Sonic: "Take it easy Sal, he didn't know she was going to turn on him again"

Fiona: "I was just trying to get away, nothing personal, besides he's not hurt"

Sonic: "Not physically at least…"

Fiona: "Look I just saved all your butts the least you can do is give me the useless crystal fragments and I'll be on my way"

Sally: "OH you have some nerve! You think that you get a prize and your freedom. NO! But you know what? I will give you your freedom. You can walk away right now. But with nothing!"

Amy: "Nothing but a fat lip!"
(The crowd breaks out in laughter at this)

Sonic: "Sally, are you serious? You want to let her go?"

Sally: "She is nothing but trouble, and her presence will invite Scourge to attack"

Sonic: "Fine by me, I can handle that faker"

Fiona: "Yeah Scourge, and he will be here soon" (She made this up on the fly, he's not really coming)
(The crowd rubbles as everyone becomes angry at this statement)

Sally: "Really? Why isn't he here now?"

Fiona: "The hour isn't up. The two attacks were to occur simultaneously, I have no idea what happen with Eggman but I assure you we aren't working together. We hate him as much as you do. You guys would be busy with Eggman and Scourge would break me out and we would find the crystal fragments and leave. But I can change all that, just give me the crystal fragments and I will turn him around and we will be gone, there doesn't have to be a battle"

Sonic: "Sally don't do it!"

Sally: (puts her hand up to Sonic to reassure him)"You really want those crystal fragments… you know what they are for?"

Fiona: "ummmm… I might use them as jewelry"

Sally: "You are not getting them Fiona, not ever"

Fiona: (Realizing the situation will not yield the crystal fragments and she still needs to get out as Scourge is not actually coming) "Fine, I still want my freedom and I'm willing to forgo a battle here. Do you want there to be a battle with Scourge and the Destructix? I will head him off and tell him that the crystal fragments aren't here and you guys are waiting for him. We will leave and no one gets hurt. Basically back to square one when you were going to let me go."

Amy: "Yeah with a fat lip"

Fiona: (Glares at Amy)

Sonic: (To Sally) "Look Sally I can take on all of them all by myself."

Sally: (Shoots Sonic a look like he is a "self-absorbed loud mouth" sometimes)"That's a bad idea Sonic, you're not 100% and most everyone here is hurt. I can still hear a bit of ringing in my ear and I'm sure everyone else feels it too. We are beat up, but not down" (then points at Fiona) "I don't trust you, but in the interest of getting you out of here I am willing to do this, and just so you know, I'm moving those fragments to someplace safe… not here"

Fiona: (Folds her arms) "Fine… agreed"

The FF and militia troops board various flying crafts and quickly make their way over to the teleporting gate as directed by Fiona (she set this up at the beginning). Someone mentions to Sally that they should destroy the teleporting device now and stop Fiona. Sally disagrees, "That will only delay Scourge and we made an agreement, we are not like them". When they get to the teleporter gate the troops fan out around the teleporter and hide behind cover while watching Fiona walk towards the front.

Fiona: (Oh Lightning Lynx you had better be awake and watching! There is a controller for the teleporter in the hovercraft. But Sally will know something is wrong and that this is all a ruse (Scourge is not coming) (Dam it Lightning turn the teleporter on!)

Very long minutes go by with Fiona standing there being watched by everyone

On a far off distant hill Lightning Lynx is watching a very curious event unfolding on long range binoculars. Fiona has shown up but the FF and others have surrounded her and the teleporter… but they are all hiding a short ways from the teleporter and Fiona is standing very close to the teleporter. He knows it's a trap of some sort but Fiona didn't say anything about him going over there. She said to wait here and watch to see if the teleporter was spotted. He thinks about leaving but what will he tell Scourge? It's not a good idea to leave Scourge's girlfriend to be captured. He thinks maybe if he is quick enough he can turn the teleporter on and pull Fiona though and hopefully shutdown the teleporter before the FF can get through it. He grabs a controller for the teleporter device and readies himself.

Back at the camouflaged teleporter Fiona stands getting very nervous. It's past the hour that Fiona said Scourge would come and some are looking to Sally for some decision. Sally decides five more minutes, but as she says it the teleporter hums to life. The relieved Fiona smiles as she lunges towards the teleporter.

Lightning: (pokes his head out and watches as Fiona zips past him)
Fiona: "GET BACK IN, SHUT IT DOWN"

Lightning glances quickly at all the heads start popping up from the surrounding area and then quickly goes back through the teleporter. Some of the troops advance a bit towards the device but Sally tells them to stop. The device seemingly shuts down, but half a second later both disguised trees explode and send the teleporter fragments everywhere. Luckily no one got near it and so no one was hurt by it exploding. They all go back to the FF HQ.

Back at the Scourge's HQ

Fiona is watching screens and manipulation data from the chip she got from Rotor's tablet device.
Scourge walks in.

Scourge: (Looking at all the flat screens in puzzlement as the data is displayed) "Hey babe, I heard you went some place and didn't tell me first"

Fiona: (looks at him with a glance but keeps working) "I went some place? I came back from my daily run three days ago and you and most of the boys were gone. Only Lightning was here and he said you went off to party or something. Thanks for inviting me" (last part said with sarcasm)

Scourge: "Hey it was a "guys" trip; they are feeling a bit funny about you"

Fiona: "What? Why?"

Scourge: "They don't like to be in the dark about your pet project"

Fiona: "I'm still working on the details, those bruisers just don't understand some things need planning and attention to details.

Scourge: "Yeah whatever… our trip was fun and we got to bond like guys do. Don't worry babe I'll handle them. What's with the training from Lightning? I know you want to get better at fighting, but…"

Fiona: hmmp You know I'm faster than Lightning, but don't tell him that I don't want him to clam up like the others."

Scourge: "Look… you are way smarter than all of them… But this obsession with these crystal fragments is pretty bad."

Fiona: "We agreed on this plan to go after them, your plan wasn't going anywhere"

Scourge: grrr "Stupid Suppression squad… don't worry I will think of a new plan. In the meantime let's do a couple of jobs and make some money so we can get some toys. You can keep working on your pet project"

Fiona: "WE want to, this is for both of us"

Scourge: "Yeah right, look we will find a way, but did you really think this plan of yours would work? I mean going to the Freedom Fighters HQ? While that's gutsy it's a bit crazy"

Fiona: "It does seem a bit hasty now, but I thought it would be so quick. In and then out. Maybe if I had explained what they would be up against…then they would have done the bargain"

Scourge: "Seriously, Sally give you the crystals?"

Fiona: "They are broken in pieces, the report from FF HQ was that they don't know what they are and that they even tried to destroy them, I thought they would give them up"

Scourge: (Laughs) "It's just crazy babe, just look at you" (Looks her over, she does look pretty hot, with all that training she has been doing)

Fiona: (Sensing the examination with his eyes quickly remembers the big swelling wound on her lips) "Don't worry this will heal"

Scourge: "Yeah I know, I just might need a bag tonight…"

Fiona: (Turning to him and furious!) "WHAT!? WHAT DID YOU SAY?"

Scourge: (just realized he said the wrong joke at the wrong time to the wrong vixen) "Hey hey… just playing with ya, you know I love ya, just chill"

Fiona: (Glaring at him and about to say something)

Scourge: (turns around walks away) "Just keep doing whatever it is you do"

Fiona: (Pissed at her plan not working, at her throbbing muzzle wound, at his stupid joke, and now at no one understanding a dam thing she does. She looks up at one of the flat screens and does a backward spin kick that sends it flying)

It flies through the air and smashes into the wall in front of Scourge as he gets to the door

Scourge: (Pauses when the screen hits the wall) (Is this a challenge? Is she trying to piss me off? No, this is just Fiona blowing off steam. She's determined, she inventive, she does this tedious background crap better than anyone I've seen. I need her.) (He turns slightly and looks at her with a toothy smile) "Don't worry babe, we will be golden, I've got your back" (turns and leaves)

Fiona: (Calms down at these words, she knows she needs to focus, focus on the plan, the golden plan.)
