The girl was surrounded by people that were really happy making that big surprise to her. She was happy too but, something felt missing. Yeah, something is missing. The black haired ice mage, he was missing and she didn't know where he should be in the moment. Juvia sat down near the glassed window looking out from it feeling gloomed to not see her beloved person. She wanted hard to focus on how the party was going but she simply traveled with her thoughts to another world. She wanted to see him in the moment more than anything else. Juvia looked down at the wooden table to see that plate that had a piece of cake on it. Her eyes then to the table that had the cakes on it but found nothing anymore and knew immediately that they already ate it. She then swallowed what she had in her mouth after taking a small bite before sinking deep in the world of thoughts. Juvia stood up grabbing the plate with her heading towards the guild's kitchen and putting the piece of cake into a box. She waved her hand to the rest of her friends leaving the guild in a happy mood not thinking of anyone except him. He was the only one for her and she didn't want to be with anyone except him.

Juvia was walking and reaching to the common places that she might find the black haired guy in so she would be able to give him that piece of cake she was holding in a box and didn't eat it just to give it to him. She smiled excited as she blushed pink color in her face. Juvia walked to where she thinks she would be able to find him and would end up getting depressed for not finding him. The blue haired girl sat down on one chair in the platform stretching her legs in front of her as she felt legs' pain because she walked a little too much. She took a deep breath and letting it with a deep sigh feeling hopeless because she wasn't able to find her beloved person. Then a soft wind came hitting on her skin and flying her hair behind her back. She then moved her head to the other side of the wind's direction to find a black haired guy standing and watching the sun when its disappearance under the sea and watching the orange color of the sky.

"Gray-sama!" she said happily with a loud voice but she wasn't able to hear it. Juvia ran until she reatched the spot Gray stood in. She stood in silence while panting and trying to catch her breath. She took a deep breath and "Gray-sama" she called him again but got no answer. Gray turned his head slowly towards the voice's direction to make sure that she was what he thought when he first heard her voice and then he turned his head back to where it was in the first time ignoring her completely. She was surprised and confused at how he ignored her but then tried to let it slide for this time and what she wanted to in the first place.

"G-Gray-sama" she called him for the third time trying not to say anything that would make him angry or thinks wrong of her.

"What?" that answer was with low lazy voice that was unable to be heard from many people. She raised her arm with the small box that she held and then looked at his deep black hair with a confused expression and a pink color on her cheeks.

"M-Mira-san and the others made cake, here's your share" Juvia stated but didn't know why was she afraid of talking to him; this was the first time happening to her and couldn't understand why. The water mage didn't tell the ice mage of the reason that Mira and the others made the cake in order not to force him into guilt feelings because he couldn't make it to the party that was only made for her. She wasn't that kind of person and never wanted to be a one. She didn't know what was wrong with him but the only thing she knew that she was ready to hear him anytime he wants to speak. Gray didn't give any attention to what she said except he sank his hands deep in his pockets closing his eyes and taking a breath from the mouth of his. When Juvia got no answer she grabbed his shoulder and gulping. "I-It's m-my b-b-birthday c-cake" she said that so he might at least pity her but unlucky her she got she imagined from him.

"I don't want"

She looked at him with wide eyes as she felt really shocked and a little ache inside of her heart. Every time Juvia used to give or tell him something he would accept anything, but he really was strange today and she became curious to know it. Juvia felt aches because even though she told him it was her birthday, he refused to accept it. He didn't know that she gave him her share and didn't think of her at all. She pushed tears back from falling and tried to give it to him with the old, to be the annoying one.

"But Gray-sama" Juvia grabbed his left arm and kept looking at her face. "It's Juvia's birthday, you have to accept it"

The black haired mage suddenly pushed the blue haired mage away from him to make her fall down on the ground with a scream 'kyaa'. Juvia got shocked from he did to her she looked quickly to that orphaned piece of cake. The box had fallen with Juvia to the ground too and the cake got out from it to be ruined and mixed with the sand. She moved her head to make her eyes in the now taller man feeling the anger glowing out from her eyes. "Enough is enough!" he spoke not feeling those tears which formed automatically on the water mage's eyes. "I already told you that I didn't want why are you so annoying?!" every word he spoke was like arrow hits her heart and her heart bleeds deeply. She never thought of anything she was thinking about in the old days, the only thing she was only thinking to see his smile when he eats the cake that was made only for her. That's right she sucked in making cakes but knew he would be happy eating her birthday's cake. Juvia didn't know that her tears were already wetting her red cheeks and wanted to believe everything was a lie. She wanted to believe that he was trying to trick her and wanted to make her a surprise but her heart, tears and mind said observe that. Gray took a breath then moved his body away from her walking steps away from her and then suddenly he stopped to look at her over his shoulder.

"Just… get out of my life"

End of flashback.

The blue haired water mage wiped the tears that kept falling down on her cheeks unable to control them anymore. She was hurt, deep inside of her heart and couldn't keep thinking of him because thinking was making her tired and she didn't want to think of him anymore. She got nothing from him except pain. Juvia sat down on her knees looking at the blue water. How many times has she tried to make him falls in love with her? How many times has she tried to make him happy and he simply ignored her? How many times has she sacrificed things that were meant to her in order to see his smile? She used to do many things for him but he didn't appreciate it and were always rude with her. Juvia was tired and wanted to rest but words are easy but doing is hard. The girl buried her face in her hands and started whining and sobbing really hard until she was surprised to get a pat on her head from some unknown person. The blue haired girl quickly raised her head to see an old lady stands and looking at her with a sad smile that curled on her lips. Juvia didn't have the power to thank the lady for being kind with her and lowered her head to look down on her lap and sniffed.

"Are you hurt my little girl?" her voice didn't seem to be sharp like any other voice but was soft and warm. The girl didn't think a lot she just nodded in pain. The woman smiled again and touched her head feeling the pain the girl had on her heart.

"Is it because of a person, your boyfriend… no, is it the one you love?" this time she didn't answer but was impressed how did that old lady know what was wrong with her and was really amazed. The woman took this as yes and patted on her head again. The woman looked at the sky feeling that soft breeze that hit her skin and then returned her head slowly to the little girl who was sitting helpless not doing things except for this good old lady waiting the results of listening to this woman.

"If you… had the chance to rebuild your life again" the woman looked into Juvia's eyes as she kept her eyes on the beach's sand "… would you be putting the same person again in your life and he would be hurting you again or… you would simply let him do the same thing in you?" the woman asked simply. Juvia didn't understand what was she is meaning but, knew her own self and how tired she was. She would choose the first choice because she have had enough from Gray and what he was doing to her without thinking of her own feelings.

The woman smiled lightly and grabbed the girl's shoulder and with her other hand put it inside of her bag taking a small vial and raising it in front of the blue haired girl's eyes. "Drink it" she grabbed her hand and put the vial on her hand "drink it, you will be able to rest from the pain he caused you all along" Juvia didn't know what to do but was sure that she wanted to drink it and wanted to forget all about him. Before drinking the potion, she looked at the old lady with worried eyes to get a nod and satisfied look.

"Old lady…" she said slowly.

"Don't worry dear, drink it and live your life… he caused you so much problems and so much pain and you deserve to be happy" she smiled in front of her face as she patted her head one last time. "When you drink it, that guy won't exist in your life anymore." She opened the vial's cover and raised the vial to place it on her lips and drink what had inside of potion knowing that when she lower her hand, her life would completely change into a different new life.

"Now, you don't have Gray to hurt you anymore"

A blue haired water mage walked into the guild with a shine bright smile curled on her lips looking all satisfied on her face and looked really refreshed. That really surprised them all and wanted to ask about what happened to her but stopped as they decided not t ruin her mood. She acted all depressed lately and this was one of the reasons they decided to throw her a party. The girl walked to the bar's table meeting the white haired barmaid with a large smile. The girl was a little surprised to see her in a good mood but decided to let it slide for the moment.

"Good morning, Mira-san"

"Good morning, Juvia" Mira greeted in back as she handed Natsu his fried chicken and Lucy her orange juice. After finishing serving her younger friends, Mira looked back to the water mage and sat down on the chair as she decided to talk a little with her.

"So, Juvia" she stole the girl's attention from what she was focused in "what happened in your birthday?" she asked simply and what she imagined from her a red blush as she used to do but her imaginative mind tricked her this time.

"What? What happened?" she looked at her with an innocent eyes.

Mira didn't believe her ears and looked at her impressed "Gray I mean Gray" Juvia just stared at her not knowing what she meant or what's going on like she was in another world. She felt strange hearing such a name. Juvia didn't answer but kept thinking of that confusing name and before she could ask anything, the black long haired iron man interrupted and sent his punch metal to hit the pink haired salamander. Having another fight in the guild between the both dragon slayers took Mira's attention away from Juvia to transfer it to the newly fight. Juvia looked at them letting a small laugh. And that laugh caught someone had entered the guild now and made him frozen in his place. Gray, Gray looked at the blue haired girl and remembered how rude he was to her three days ago. He wanted to apologize to her since that day but didn't know what should he say or tell her to forgive him. He hurt her badly and he knew that but he wasn't able to control his anger over it and saw nothing in front of him that time. Even though Juvia had told him about her birthday, he still acted rude and cruel to her. He knew after he calmed down that she meant only to give it to him nothing more nothing less.

Gray started to walk to where the blue haired mage sat in embarrassment knowing how he sucked in words and wanted this day to move faster than this knowing how slow it was. The black haired looked at her blue haired sniffing a little as he started to smell that scent of the perfume she had wore and it really good. He smiled as he lowered his head and then his sweat dropped feeling a little nervous. Before he could speak, the blue haired girl moved her body back to the position she had when she came to the guild. Juvia didn't move her body to look at the black haired guy because she didn't even felt him here. He looked at her with a confused look and the red color had already formed on his cheeks unable to remove it. He coughed and then gulped taking a deep breath and letting it out.

"Juvia I…" he said and then he paused looking into her eyes that wouldn't meet his own eyes. "I'm sorry for the other day… I'm really sorry" he said and waited for an answer but got nothing from her, she acted like didn't even hear him. The ice mage got shocked from her sudden doing and didn't know what should he do?

"Yosh!"

Gray suddenly found her stands up with a determined look she got on her eyes. She really acted strange towards him and he didn't know what's wrong. Seeing her walks away from where he sat leaving him in a confused position and ignored. He quickly grabbed her hand stopping her in her place but keeping his head in her place. When he was sure that she stopped, he let go of her hand. He stayed silent waiting her to speak feeling nervous thinking of what she is gonna say.

"What's wrong with me? I felt like someone grabbed my hand!"

"Huh…!"
