(England's POV)

Ba-Dum

Slowly regaining consciousness, the first thing I noticed was beating of my own heart.

Ba-Dum

The second thing I noticed was the red stained white of the sink. Blinking blearily, I tried to piece together what the substance was.

Ba-Dum

I weakly swiped my finger in the colored liquid, noting how sticky it was. The metallic smell in the air was starting to get to me, increasing my steadily growing headache along with my unease. The sudden realization and rush of memories caused my heart to beat faster.

Ba-Dum Ba-Dum

"My…blood…?"

Ba-Dum Ba-Dum Ba-Dum

Taking deep, calming breathes, while closing my eyes I managed to slow my heart rate. Pushing the events of the night before to the back of my mind, I numbly went through the process that I was becoming increasingly familiar to.

Good morning sleeping beauty, have a nice nap?

I gasped and dropped the gauze I was using to wrap the still visible scars.

Wait, don't answer that. Anemia is so troublesome first thing in the morning.

The voice had a light hearted tone to it, as if it was trying to comfort me by telling me that it happens to everyone. I picked up the fallen bandages and continued wrapping the wounds.

'Maybe if I ignore it, it'll stop.'

Nope.

Once I finished, I set the gauze back in the medical bag in the cabinet behind the mirror. Grabbing the bucket and a blood stained rag from under the sink, I got on my knees and attempted to erase the evidence of my activities from the floor and sink.

Hey! Don't ignore me! That's not nice at all poppet!

And the immature, high pitched voice went ignored. The voice huffed in annoyance.

No wonder none of the other countries like being around you! Just plain rude!

I flinched and hoped it would go unnoticed. I mean, really, it's just a voice.

Awww~ Did I hit a nerve?

Luck was not on my side today. My irritation began to flare and I clenched my fist around the rag.

I mean I try to sympathetic to myself and you ignore me! A "I appreciate the concern" or, even a "Thank you" would of sufficed.

I grit my teeth, trying to focus on the task at hand.

'It'll get bored eventually, just stiff upper lip.'

I mean you call yourself a gentleman, but you don't have any manners? Now I, ever the gentleman, would be more than happy to teach yo-

"SHUT UP!" I bit my tongue, cutting my outburst short. God bless the silence that preceded.

The bed creaked and dipped slightly as I melted into it. I sighed contently and glanced at my bed side table. The sleek black alarm clock read 10:10 am. Next to the said machine laid my phone. The home button lit up, waited, and lit up again. Curiously, I picked up the device and turned it on.

G8 Meeting in London at 11:00 am

I simple stared as my mind tried to process what I just read.

G8 Meeting

London

11:00

I glanced at the time.

10:13

My head dropped onto my pillow. Lady Luck really had something against me today.

(No One's POV)

The Brit sunk into his chair, pinching the bridge of his nose. He had gotten to the meeting later than usual but was still there before some countries. Even so, a few countries were already there doing various things.

Italy was busy drawing on the documents he was supposed to use for the meeting. The German next to him was actually looking at the documents, deciding which topic to introduce first. Discreetly reading a (coughyaoicough) manga under the table was Japan.

The door slowly creaked open, revealing a tall and daunting figure. Russia scanned the room, noticing an empty seat next to the Italian. He walked over and looked at the "empty seat".

"Eh? Oh, hello Russia. Can I help you?" Canada greeted quietly. The albino looked around. " I thought I heard someone talking…" And with that he sat on the North American nation.

"Help…Me…" The blond wheezed. But unfortunately no one heard him.

The Russian turned towards his neighbor with a smile. "Become one with Mother Russia, Da?" Feliciano started, took one glance at the taller male, and clung to Germany's arm while waving a white flag.

"Wah! Doitsu, Doitsu, help meeeee!" The blonde merely sighed and patted the Italian's head.

Look Artie! Germany and Italy look so adorable together!

"Your commentary is unnecessary," England deadpans. The arms cradling his head move closer together.

Just thought I'd point it out, hehe.

Arthur just simply groaned. And then-

" 'ello Angleterre, why so gloomy today?"

-was whispered into his ear, breath tickling the outer shell. The Briton spun around and glared at the person standing before him, a faint blush adorning his face.

"Don't do that you perverted frog!" Said frog backed up, holding his hands up in surrender while grinning.

"Ah, but you looked so defenseless, I couldn't resist," France defended, taking a seat next to his frenemy. He cast a worried look towards the other when he dropped his head back into his arms.

"You never answered my question." Francis points out.

"What question?" Was tired response.

"Why so gloomy, well more so than usual."

"I'm not "gloomy" as you insist on calling it."

"You're acting even more isolated than usual, mon ami."

"Am not."

"And I didn't think such a thing was possible without becoming China way back."

"I'm not isolated."

"You aren't?"

"No."

"I disa-"

The doors to the meeting room slammed open with a bang and silenced washed over the room. Well, if there was any kind of noise it was blocked by the voice of the newest arrival.

"THE HERO HAS ARRIVED! WHAT'S UP!? NOTHING EXCITING, CUZ I WASN'T HERE!"

England's almost-gone-headache came back full force. Germany, who was probably facing the same problem, sighed and gestured to the last remaining seat.

"Have a seat America, we were just about to start." The darker blond gave him a surprised look.

"Wait, you mean I'm on time? SWEET!" He basically catapulted into his seat, which so happened to be on the Brit's other side. Alfred waited for the lecture on being more responsible…that never came? His mega-watt grin faltered.

"Hey, hey Iggy, did you hear? I'm on time!" He repeated, in case the Brit hadn't heard - which all considering was impossible unless he was deaf.

"Congra-bloody-lations." England snapped, his tone filled with finality. The younger looked towards the Frenchman, who merely shrugged.

"Someone's grumpy today, must be old age," the American muttered, knowing exactly how to rile his "friend" up. The expected "I AM NOT OLD YOU GIT!" didn't happen. It was as if the Hero was being ignored. He pouted.

"Hey! You can't ignore the Hero! That's not nice." Arthur wondered if it was just him or was that familiar.

"Hey! Don't ignore me! That's not nice at all poppet!"

He groaned, the last thing he needed was to be reminded of that sodding voice.

I can still hear you, 'ya know. Nice to know you're thinking about me, hehe~

And thus the meeting went: Germany droning on in the background, France glancing at his frienemy worriedly, America trying to get his attention (and secretly worrying), the mysterious voice mocking our poor protagonist, and England just enduring it all. But, there comes a point where a person can no longer hold on.

And that point was approaching faster than anyone knew, except two.

Kyu-Chan: *Quiet Disapproving Noise*

Prussia: What's up?

Kyu-Chan: I don't know…I feel like it could have been better somehow… Oh and before I forget, Angleterre is England and Mon Ami is my friend, both in French. The part with China refers to when China isolated him/itself from the rest of the world a long time ago.

Prussia: *Slings Arm Around Kyu-Chan's Shoulder* Aw, calm down. You spent like a week obsessing over it, it's fine.

Kyu-Chan: But-

Prussia: It's Fine. Worry about it anymore and you'll get wrinkles, which is so not awesome.

Kyu-Chan: Alright… *Realizes Their Position* *Face Heats Up*

Prussia: And I'm sure the reviewers'll tell you the same thi-

Kyu-Chan: *Faints*

Prussia: Hey are you okay? Wake up! West!? Get Over Here!

*Screen Blacks Out*
