Raven woke up, covered by the sleeping bag, with no Judith in sight. "Wha...?" He rubbed his temple, trying to remember what happened. Oh right. He'd gone with her to train for the final battle, and they ended up resting out here. But now she wasn't here. Raven assumed she was out training some more. Stepping out into the bright light made him shield his eyes. The sound of fighting confirmed what he thought. The Krityan fought hard, using the Artes that she rarely used. She wanted to get more practice in for those, just in case her others failed. Strike by strike, her enemies fell, dropping valuables that she collected. She didn't know what the hell monsters were doing with gald, but she wasn't complaining. Using the last of her energy, she offed the biggest monster she had come across, before kneeling down, short of breath. Someone was applauding her from behind. "Nice fightin', darlin'. Mind if I show off a bit?" Raven pulled out his bow, giving Judith a cocky smile. A nod of her head was permission enough, and Raven pulled back an arrow, "What if I use my... Love Shot!" Judith sensed her energy come back, feeling refreshed. The bruises on her legs were soon vanished. She silently strode away from him. Raven's back was turned as she made her exit, unaware she had left. "So I had a question," he pivoted around to ask her, but she was gone. That was normal, he thought as he sighed. Near evening, Judith finally arrived back at their camping spot. Raven was taking a light nap against a rock, snapping out of it as he heard footsteps approaching. He sleepily asked, "Where'd ya wander off to?" Judith ran her hand through a lock of her hair, looking elegant in the setting sunlight, "Nowhere special." Raven's eyes lingered on her soft hair. He wanted to, but didn't want to push his luck by stroking it. His eyes met hers, questioning her actions, "You sure disappear a lot." She gave him a playful smirk, "Does that bother you, Raven?" Raven looked away from her, "Nah, just wonderin' why you don't like bein' around me." The question must have shocked her, since she tilted her head to the side and looked genuinely concerned, "Why would you think that?" "Like I said, you're always disappearin'," he repeated himself. There was a long silence and Judith avoided making eye contact with him. She seemed uncomfortable and he was about to tell her nevermind, when she said something, "Sometimes I just... need to be by myself for a while." She finally met his gaze, "I've been alone for most of my life." This was playing out just like a fantasy he'd had many times. Was this really how it was going to happen? Was this the moment he'd never thought would happen, but did happen? He hesitated to act, worried it was a trick, but the look in her eyes told him otherwise. He stood up and walked over to her. "You're not alone now," his rough hand stroked her soft cheek. Suddenly he was aware of how unworthy he was of her. "I know... you could always do better. But I'm here for you. I've always wanted to be." Judith's smooth hand touched his, "You're funny, old man." Raven didn't say anything, worried she was going to reject him. She'd done it before, but right now he was trying to open up to her. He was surprised when her hands touched his chest and he felt himself being pushed down. Soon, he was in a sitting position, with this beautiful woman on top of him. "35 isn't that old," Judith stated, pulling the hair elastic holding her bun together out. Her long hair fell down her shoulders and curtained around them together. Her soft lips were too much for him to hold back. "Judith-" his mouth covered hers. He could feel her gently kissing his mouth and her tongue making its way between his lips. He pulled back a bit, "Judy..." before he grabbed her and kissed her more passionately. He felt unable to control himself and bit her bottom lip, sucking on it tenderly, then exploring her mouth with his tongue. Judith matched him by nibbling on his tongue, then suckling on it. Raven buried his face in her neck, smelling her sweet scent, then tasting it and biting down. Judith squirmed and let out a quiet moan. Worried that he hurt her, Raven looked up at her, "Was that too hard?" "No, it felt nice," Judith grasped his hair and pulled him back to her. He continued kissing, licking, and biting her, getting moans and sighs that drove him insane. As he made his way down her collarbone, she leaned back from him. "Hmm?" Raven stopped. "I think I'm tired. I'm going to go to sleep," Judith started gathering her hair and tied it back up. Raven suppressed a sigh. He didn't want to let her go so soon, but he knew better than to push her past her comfort zone. Judith stood up and planted a kiss on his mouth, "I'll be in there... You can lay next to me if you want," she strode away, giving Raven a nice sight. He had a small smile on his face. Things were going very nicely and he never thought any of this would happen. Maybe tomorrow would lead to more.
