Lee ate his food the looked up and saw Lucy looking at him.
"What?"
"Never seen you look so miserable in your life."
"Oh."
"What's wrong?"
"It doesn't matter." Lucy now walked over to Lee.
"Yes it does it's your birthday and I am not having you be this moody all what's wrong?" Lee put his face up to meet Lucy's.
"Nothing's wrong seriously." Lee and Lucy's eyes met.
"Seriously what's wrong?" Lee looked at her unevenly and then shied away.
"It's just that I'm getting older and I still haven't got a family or someone and it's just every day I'm a day older and it's a waste." Lucy grabbed out and held his hand.
"You will find that person I promise." She kissed him on the cheek then walked out of the kitchen. Lee watched as she left.
"I have it's just that you don't know it's you." He whispered quietly to himself.
Lee was sat on the sofa with his feet up. Lucy walked in and sat next to him and handed him a flat box wrapped in wrapping paper .
"This might cheer you up."
"What is it?" He started unwrapping it.
"Open it and find out." He finished unwrapping it and then opened the box.
"Wembley tickets! Thanks." He sat up and gave Lucy a hug briefly until he realised what he had done and quickly backed off.
"Glad you like them." She gave a smile.
"Is this how you're planning to spend your day?"
"No actually I'm off out now." Lee got up and walked out the front door and closed it shut after him. Lucy put her feet up and pulled a blanket over her and switched the telly on.
