Chapter 1
Hey guys! Thanks for reading the first chapter! Heres the second. I just watched Civil war and I thought it was awesome! BTW, this is set before Civil war and a few weeks beofre AVENGERS: Age of ultron.
Of course, I do not own any of the people in this story.
Clint and Natasha squished into a cute little loveseat while Steve comfortably sat in a soft couch. Tony and Bruce sat together on another loveseat.
"Boss, your popcorn and wine is ready. You can get it from the microwave and the refrigerator." Tony stood up and grabbed the huge bowl of popcorn sitting in the microwave and the two bottles of wine.
"Get comfy guys, this is going to be a long movie."
Long before the birth
of light, there was darkness. And from that darkness
came the Dark Elves. Millennia ago, the most
ruthless of their kind, Malekith sought to transform our universe
back into one of eternal night. Such evil was possible through
the power of the Aether, an ancient force of
infinite destruction.
"I suspect that is Thor's dad who is speaking." Steve said.
"Malekith. Asgard's forces are upon us."
"Easy to see who's the villain." Natasha observed.
The noble armies of Asgard,
led by my father, King Bor, waged a mighty war
against these creatures.
"Send in the Kursed!"
A dark elf squeezed a ruby red stone and his body began to light up in a bright red glow.
Tony shivered, remembering a certain event a few years back with Pepper.
As the Nine Worlds
converged above him, Malekith could at last unleash the Aether.
But Asgard ripped the weapon
From his grasp.
Without it, the Dark Elves fell.
With the battle all but lost,
Malekith sacrificed his own people
in a desperate attempt to lay
waste to Asgard's army.
"Their deaths will
mean our survival.
This war is far from over."
said Malekith as he went into a ship.
"He killed his own race to preserve his own life! That's dark." Clint said.
Malekith was vanquished,
and the Aether was no more.
Or so we were led to believe.
"What? Why would they keep it?" Bruce pondered aloud.
"Sire, the Aether.
Shall we destroy it?"
"If only we could.
But its power is too great.
Bury it deep.
Somewhere no one will ever find it."
"Does that answer your question?" Tony retorted.
(Fade to black)
The whole team's eyes widened when they heard the footsteps and chains jingling. It was Loki, who was a mass-murderer on Earth. Clint almost jumped at the screen when he saw the man who mind controlled him into killing innocent people.
Loki.
A beautiful woman, dressed in lovely drapes and holding her hands together stood before the traitor.
Hello, Mother.
Have I made you proud?
The woman's small smile disappeared.
Please, don't make this worse.
Steve quickly recognized that Loki and his mother had a very strong love for each other, just like his mother and him when she was alive.
Loki smiled.
Define "worse."
A old, white haired man sat in a throne. He had to be Thor's father, the king of Asgard, Odin.
Enough!
I will speak to the prisoner alone.
Loki shuffled his feet.
I really don't see
what all the fuss is about.
Odin's expression stayed emotionless.
Do you not truly feel
the gravity of your crimes? Wherever you go, there is war, ruin, and death.
I went down to Midgard to rule the
people of Earth as a benevolent god.
Just like you.
We are not gods.
We are born, we live, we die.
Just as humans do.
Give or take 5,000 years.
"Great, this means that Thor is going to die in like, 2,000 years and outlive us all."Tony rolled his eyes.
All this because Loki
desires a throne.
It is my birthright.
Your birthright! was to die!
As a child.
Cast out onto a frozen rock.
"I thought my dad was terrible. But Loki's got it rough."Tony said.
If I had not taken you in,
you would not be
here now to hate me.
If I am for the axe,
then for mercy's sake,
just swing it.
It's not that I don't
love our little talks,
it's just...
I don't love them.
Frigga is the only reason
you're still alive,
and you will never see her again.
You will spend the rest of
your days in the dungeons.
"Frigga must be that woman." Natasha noted.
And what of Thor?
You'll make that witless oaf
king while I rot in chains?
Thor must strive to undo
the damage you have done.
He will bring order
to the Nine Realms
and then, yes...
He will be king.
"Is he saying the damage done to New York, because Thor didn't really help with the clean up."
Ah!
I've got this completely
under control!
Is that why everything is on fire?
The team chuckled, and all took note of how powerful Thor was in his surroundings.
Ah!
You're welcome.
A young beautiful woman holding a shield said to Thor. She had jet black hair and looked very high-ranked.
"She's pretty, Thor should date her." Tony offered.
Ha!
All yours.
Hello.
I accept your surrender.
The whole team cheered as they watched Thor annihilate the monster. Clint whistled while Tony clapped.
Anyone else?
Perhaps next time we should
start with the big one.
Steve chuckled at the blonde man's humor.
Keep moving. Come on!
Keep moving. Go ahead of me.
Don't you turn around!
Where do we go next?
Hogun, the peace is nearly won
across the Nine Realms.
You should stay here. Be with
your people, where your heart is.
Asgard can wait.
You have my thanks.
As you have mine.
Heimdall, when you're ready.
The whole team watched in awe as Thor traveled up a rainbow bridge. Tony took a mental note to see if he could build something like that as a form of transportation.
Is Vanaheim secure?
As are Nornheim and Ria.
Though our work would have gone
more quickly with you at the fore.
You must think I'm a piece of bread
that needs to be buttered so heavily.
That was not my intent.
For the first time
since Bifrost was destroyed,
the Nine Realms are at peace.
They're well reminded
of our strength
and you have earned their
respect and my gratitude.
Thank you.
Nothing out of order
except your confused
and distracted heart.
This isn't about
Jane Foster, Father.
Human lives are fleeting,
they're nothing.
You'd be better served
by what lies in front of you.
Tony lifted his eyebrows and laughed as the camera pointed to Sif, the warrior with black hair.
I'm telling you this,
not as the Allfather,
but as your father.
You are ready.
The time has come
for you to take the throne.
Embrace and celebrate
what you've won.
Join your warriors.
Eat and drink,
revel in their celebration.
At least pretend to enjoy yourself.
