Episode 2- Reunited At Last
1 year later
"Scatterbug!" The Scatterdust Pokémon climbed up the kitchen table sink and happily gave Karissa a good morning smile.
"Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm." Karissa hummed; chopping the vegetables in pieces before she pour it into the colander. "Scatterbug, wake up Irene for me won't you?" Karissa gave Scatterbug a very important request, she picked up the colander from the sink and shakes it. "Of course I already tried once, but as usual once is never enough." Karissa placed the colander back in the sink, with a disappointing expression; she couldn't believe that Irene is always the last person up while her sisters, Lindsay and Colleen are always on time for breakfast.
"Scatterbug." Scatterbug nodded her head and crawled out of the kitchen; Karissa smiles at the Pokémon and knew that Scatterbug will do her best.
Scatterbug crawled up the stairs as quickly as she could, by using her String Shot and landed next to Irene's door. Scatterbug squished her way through the door and managed to enter Irene's bedroom. There she saw Irene sleeping in her nice soft bed and covered with her warm blanket with her hair messed up in a ponytail. Without thinking, Scatterbug unleashed her String Shot and aimed for the headboard on the bed before she flew up in the air and safely landed on one of the pillows. Scatterbug leaned against Irene's face, blinking before she hit her hard with a powerful Tackle attack. "Scatterbug!" Scatterbug slams the pinkette's head so hard that she fell down and screamed.
"Aaahhhh!" Irene screamed.
"Gooo!" Gogoat was shocked after hearing Irene's scream outside of the house.
"Good looks like we're all ready." Karissa smiled, hearing her daughter's scream before she took out her fresh-baked cinnamon buns out of the oven.
"Scatterbug?" Scatterbug looked back down to Irene, groaning in pain.
"Ouch!" The Squirtle plushie hits Irene hard on the nose before she got up and glare at Scatterbug. "Ooohhhh, I've told you a million times not to wake me up like that!" Irene glares at the terrified Pokémon for waking her up like that again before she tried to catch that Scatterdust Pokémon.
"Scatterbug." Scatterbug tilted her head and flew up to the ceiling with her handy String Shot attack. Irene missed Scatterbug and hit herself on the small pink table very hard, leaving a red mark on her nose.
"Huh?" Irene looked confused and saw Scatterbug happily landed on her head. "Sometimes I'll never understand why mom lets Scatterbug wake me up like that? I think I like it better when Lindsay wakes me up..." Irene muttered, looking un-amused that Scatterbug keeps waking her up like that every single day until her mom called her down.
"Irene, breakfast is ready!" Irene pouted, hearing her mother downstairs.
"Coming mom!" Irene answered back. "Sigh, this is the part where mom wants me to give dad his meal." Irene sighed before she stood up on the floor, rubbing her nose gently with Scatterbug on her head and thinking about the time that her father got really mad for failing her exam. Ever since Irene, Calem, Tierno and Shauna flunked their test, Professor Sycamore got really mad at his daughter for failing her exam again. Not only that but Professor Sycamore had also made Irene come to his lab for tutor on Mondays and Thursdays and not playing with her friends. Since then Irene thought that her father hates her and won't let her go on a journey with her best friends. Irene pulled her curtains and opened her window for some fresh air. Then Irene saw Gogoat sleeping in the backyard before she happily waved her hand at the Mount Pokémon. "Morning Gogoat!"
"Goo!" Gogoat woke up and greeted the young Trainer.
"Sigh only one week until I start my journey." Irene giggled and stretched her arms with Scatterbug on top of her head. Irene lets Scatterbug play with the Helioptiles and went straight towards the bathroom getting ready for the day.
"That's what happens when Irene gets too distracted over certain stuff, especially on boys." Lindsay smirked, hearing her sister's screams from upstairs. She drank her juice and took a huge big bite of her cinnamon bun, but before Lindsay could eat the rest of her breakfast, Colleen asked her older sister a question.
"What about Calem? I thought Irene had a huge crush over him." Colleen questioned, staring at her older sister. Lindsay let out a sigh, drinking her glass of orange juice.
"That was last year and it only lasted two days until Grant appears on last year's magazine for winning the bike race." Lindsay responded. "Besides there are million of boys cuter than Calem." Lindsay shrugged her shoulders as if it's no big deal to date a decent boy who's too competitive and too busy with. Lindsay used to have a crush on Calem three years ago until she realized that Calem is more of a competitive person and not a ladies man. But before Lindsay could finish her sentence, she saw her little sister Irene happily came downstairs and entered the kitchen, wearing a cute outfit. Lindsay and Colleen couldn't help but admire Irene's outfit; her hair tied up in a ponytail, wearing a pleated white skirt, her dazzling turquoise three-quarter sleeve top with her white scarf around her neck, her pink friendship bracelet that Shauna gave her for last Christmas, her black socks that went above her knees and finally her green Mary Jane shoes that sparkles like diamonds.
"Morning Colleen, morning Lindsay." Irene exclaimed with a smile. She sat in the chair, pouring herself a glass of juice.
"So sis, did you dream about Siebold and his cooking again?" Lindsay teased. Irene took a piece of cinnamon bun from the plate and gave her sister a look.
"For your information Lindsay, I happen to be a huge fan of the amazing Siebold; the legendary chef of the Kalos region!" Irene beams, dreaming of her and Siebold meeting in person. She also imagined that Siebold prepared his amazing cuisine to Irene and her friends until her little sister snapped her back to reality.
"Not to mention that Siebold is also the member of the Elite Four who specializes in Water type." Colleen remind her sisters that Siebold is one of the members of the Elite Four in the Kalos region. "I heard rumors that each members of the Elite Four also have a specific Pokémon that could Mega Evolve, but only on certain circumstance."
"That's so cool!" Irene cheered, stuffing her face with cinnamon buns. "Maybe someday I could Mega Evolve my Pokémon and face off against the champion." Irene sighed before her face expression turned really serious.
"Too bad not all Pokémon could Mega Evolve..." Lindsay muttered, leaning on her chair. "It will be cool if one my Helioptiles could Mega Evolve." Lindsay stared at two of her Helioptiles eating their Pokémon food with Scatterbug in tow. Despite that, Lindsay also wished to add a Pokémon on her team that could mega evolve. Before the three sisters could finished their conversation, Karissa appears in front of the girls, and placed their plates on the table.
"Thanks mom!" Irene, Lindsay and Colleen answered in unison after Karissa placed three plates that holds three crispy bacon, one cheesy omelet, and two pieces of French toast. After the girls enjoyed their delicious breakfast, the girls went to the livingroom, watching their favorite show about Kalice and Dedenne teaming up with Diantha and her elegant Gardevoir to prevent Dr. Zagan and his evil henchmen from turning everyone into his personal slaves. Every time Irene watches this show, she imagines herself fighting against evil and saving the world, along with her friends and her future Pokémon. After the show takes a commercial break, Lysandre appears on television featuring the latest Holo Caster . But for some reason, Irene, her friends and her sisters felt that something is fishy with this Lysandre person especially when their father is friends with Lysandre. Irene's good mood vanished after she saw her mother placed the food in the bento lunch box before she closes the lid tight and sealed. This could only mean one thing...
"Oh Irene honey!" Karissa walked towards her daughter, holding the bento lunch box that has different variety of food. "I was wondering if you could give this lunch to your father at Lumiose City?" Karissa handed the bento lunch box to the shaking Irene. She couldn't believe that her mother wants her to give this lunch to her father. Why couldn't Lindsay do this instead?
"But mom why can't you let Lindsay do this instead?" Irene asked.
"Because Lindsay has volleyball practice and today is the last round." Karissa told her daughter on why Lindsay couldn't bring her father's lunch. Not only that but Lindsay's volleyball team are up against a group of players from Nimbasa City; in the Unova region. "Besides, aunt Florina needs help gathering all the fragrances needed for her perfume shop and I'm going to be at Santalune City for four days." Karissa reminds her three daughters that she's going to be away for few days until she gets back home in the evening. "But don't worry, aunt Alexandra is going to watch over you while I'm gone." Karissa assured her children, causing Irene to go relief since Debbie and Kaylee are also staying over. Alexandra, Debbie's mother is the best woman in Lumiose City, owning a bakery named Alexandra's Bakery, a popular bakery that sells different varieties of treats and snacks from different regions. But another reason the bakery is so popular is that the Kalos Champion visits there often.
"Thanks for reminding me mom..." Irene muttered with her eyes squinted. "Can I bring Shauna and Calem along since Debbie is helping both Tierno and Trevor catch their Pokémon?" Irene begs hoping that her mother would say yes until Colleen tugs her shirt.
"But Shauna and Calem are helping aunt Alexandra at the bakery." Colleen reminded her sister; Irene's fantasy had broken into pieces and suddenly fell down into the floor real hard.
"Thanks for reminding me Colleen..." Irene squinted her eyes at her little sister.
"You're welcome big sister!" Colleen smiled, oblivious to Irene's wining. Irene sighed before her little sister kindly picked her up from the floor.
"If you want you could bring Colleen and Veronica along with you?" Karissa suggested.
"I could?" Irene questioned.
"If you want to?" Karissa crossed her arms, watching her daughter became cheerful again while Lindsay ignored her sister's shouting and packed all her things for the volleyball tournament.
"Awesome!" Irene cheered, then staring at her sister with a determine expression. "So what do you say sidekick, are you with me?" Irene gazed at her little sister with a determine expression. If she's going to give this lunch to her father; Irene needs as much help that she needs.
"Sure Irene!" Colleen beamed before she and her sister shook hands. Their second assignment; find Veronica as soon as possible!
"Wonder how Debbie is doing with Trevor and Tierno?" Irene thought to herself until she realized something... "Speaking of Debbie, wonder how Shauna and Calem are doing at aunt Alexandra's bakery? I heard that her bakery is jammed with lot of customers."
Meanwhile In Route 3 which is known as the Ouvert Way is a route where hollows of lush forest is a great place for many kinds of Pokémon come here often to play. Next to Route 3 is a small fresh clean river where water Pokémon such as Goldeen and Marill swim here often for food or activity. Next to the river are Debbie, Trevor, and Tierno, where the boys are learning how to catch water Pokémon. Unlike the grass and patches, some Pokémon are found on water surface while others can be only caught by using fishing rods. "Alright Trevor and Tierno, today I'm going to teach you how to catch Pokémon by fishing." Debbie went to her bag, grabbing her fishing rod. "But to do that we need to use a fishing rod first if we're going to catch some water Pokémon." Debbie told the boys on few basic steps on fishing.
"This is awesome!" Tierno cheered, looking at his friends with excitement. "Not only are we going fishing but we're also going to watch them dance for us!" Tierno danced in joy while Debbie and Trevor sweat dropped at their friend.
"Seriously Tierno, could you at least think about something other than dancing." Trevor couldn't help but wonders why Tierno only thinks about dancing other than listening to Debbie's lesson. For some reason, Tierno reminds him of Valarie; except she's a clean freak who's very serious on Pokémon especially when it comes to ballet.
"For once I agree with Trevor..." Debbie muttered before she adjusted her classes and turned her attention towards the boys. "Sigh anyways watch carefully, you two, this is very important." Debbie looked at Trevor and Tierno; who stared at her with interest.
"Okay!" Trevor and Tierno answered in unison.
"Alright, first you stand next to the river like this." Debbie walked towards the river very carefully so that way she wouldn't on a piece of rock like last time. "Then you use your fishing rod on the river; but make sure your rod has a bait or lure attach to it." Debbie reminds the boys before her rod quickly landed at the river. "Now remember, the key to find water Pokémon is to have patience and reel it in gently, so that way the Pokémon won't get away." Debbie explained to Tierno and Trevor on how to fish for Pokémon.
"Hey Trevs, what Pokémon Debbie is fishing for?" Tierno whispered to his friend.
"Who knows Tierno, maybe its a rare Pokémon." Trevor whispers to Tierno. Then suddenly Debbie noticed that her rod just caught a Pokémon and its a big one too!
"Alright here it comes!" Debbie quickly pulled the fishing reel out of the lake but couldn't do it. Then suddenly, Trevor and Tierno helped their friend out before she pulled her rod and out came a Pokémon and landed on a rock. The Pokémon is red-shelled, its eyes are saucer-like with small pupils, and it has three spikes on top of its head.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Tierno questioned.
"It's Corphish not only are they tough but their pincers are really sharp." Trevor explained to his friend Tierno, who's too busy staring at it before Debbie took out a Poke Ball from her bag and enlarges it.
"Get ready because the next step is to catch it, Inkay lets show them your talent!" Debbie explains before she tosses her Poke Ball in midair and a blue light is out, revealing the Revolving Pokémon and is ready to fight. "First you have to choose a right move for your Pokémon to attack before your opponents does." Debbie explains to her friends and looked at her Inkay and is ready to give her a command. "Alright Inkay use Foul Play!" Debbie commanded.
"Inkay!" As Corphish tries to grip Inkay, she turns upside down, and grabs Corphish before she threw him real hard in the ground.
"Amazing." Trevor muttered.
"Man that Corphish is really perfect for my dance team!" Tierno cheered with his eyes turned bright."You haven't seen Inkay's powers yet." Debbie smirked and her face turned determined. "Now use Psybeam!"
"Inkay" As Inkay flips upside down and fires a streaky blue beam with pink circles inside it from her mouth at Corphish before he got hit real hard and feel unconscious.
"Finally its time to catch Corphish, go Poke Ball!" Debbie threw her ball at Corphish and went inside the ball automatically while the boys and Debbie hopes that it works.
Shake, Shake, Shake, Click. The Poke Ball stopped shaking and finally caught Corphish causing all threw friends to cheer.
"All right we caught a Corphish!" Debbie grabbed her Poke Ball and made her pose with Tierno and Trevor.
"Awesome! Now that we caught Corphish, which Pokémon shall we catch Deb?" Tierno questions.
"Hmm... How about route 4, there's a garden patch out there and there are tons of rare Pokémon to find." The shy girl suggested before the boys agree.
"Good idea Deb, wish that the others were there though." Tierno muttered while Trevor patted his back for comfort.
"Don't worry Tierno, I'm sure that Irene and the others are fine. Although Delilah seems really mysterious." Trevor answered.
"Just wish I find Delilah and ask her something..." Debbie muttered.
Meanwhile back at Aquacorde Town, Irene and Colleen saw Veronica and her mom were about to head to Lumiose City by car until the girls quickly ran towards them right on time before Veronica's mom could start the car.
"Hi Veronica!" The girls answered in unison towards their best friend Veronica who has long dark green hair towards her waist, has bright green eyes and her skin is bright. Her casual outfit is a yellow hairclip, her skirt is green with white stripes around it, her top is black with green outlines, her shoes are white and green, her leggings are black and is wearing a green Holo Caster on her neck and is given by her dad.
"Irene, Colleen its great to see you all so how's Shauna and the others doing?" Veronica answered, smiling at her two best friends.
"Shauna and Calem are helping aunt Alexandra while the boys are getting their Pokémon from Debbie." Irene giggles after she imagines how Calem is having a hard time with the customers with Scatterbug in tow, meanwhile Colleen couldn't help but notice this small device on Veronica's neck.
"Veronica what's that on your neck?" Colleen pointed at the green tablet like neck around her friend's neck.
"Oh that? It's the latest device called the Holo Caster." Veronica responded.
"What's a Holo Caster?" Irene tilted her head in confusion causing Veronica to laugh at her friend's curiosity.
"Well a Holo Caster is an awesome device that allows you to communicate with people and friends through holograms." Veronica explained to her friends and showed her Holo Caster at the same time.
"Awesome." Both said in unison with sparkling eyes.
"But the best part is that the Holo Caster comes in different shapes, sizes and colors and it can be worn as watches, necklaces, belts and even on backpacks." Veronica cheers causing the Sycamore girls to go really excited.
"I want one of those Holo Casters!" Colleen jumped in joy and held her sister's hands.
"Me too!" Irene sang but then she stopped jumping after she finally realized something. "Oh that's right, do you think that your mom can drop us to Lumiose City?" Irene asked her friend, hoping she would say yes. "See I gotta give my dad his lunch and it'll be really lovely if you would come along with us Verony." Irene looked down to her feet and held her hands behind while her little sister made a cute puppy face.
"Plus Irene thinks that dad hates her due to her low test grades." Colleen said, causing the pinkette to glare at her younger sister.
"Well I was going to go buy some drinks and meet my sibs... But since you guys are also going to Lumiose City, okay! Btw, I only give rides to friends and allies and not ding-dongs like Zack." Veronica smiles causing both Irene and Colleen to jump for joy.
"Yaay!" The duo cheered in joy while Veronica the Unovian girl looks very proud of herself until her mother came back from the house getting her car keys.
"Veronica honey! I got the car keys!" Veronica's mom Patricia answered before she caught up to her daughter and friends.
"Thanks mom!" Veronica responded.
"This is awesome!" Irene sang "You girls know what that means right?"
"Yup."
"Definitely."
"..."
"Road Trip!" All three said in unison
"Starring Irene, The Mighty Trainer!" Irene and Scatterbug jumped up and made their pose. "In this episode the Mighty Trainer and her friends must deliver this bento lunch box to her father and stop this clutches of evil!"
"That's Irene alright, sigh that girl maybe a klutz but she sure has a lot of spunk alright." Veronica giggled causing her mom and Colleen to laugh at her in agreement.
"Irene's quite a lucky girl alright." Patricia chuckled before she looked at her watch and widened her eyes. "Uh-oh it's almost ten o'clock and if I'm late for work again who knows what my boss will do to me! Get in kids, because this road is a fast one." Patricia looked at the three girls before they all entered the green car. Irene, Colleen, and Veronica are in the middle of the car, Veronica's mom puts on her sunglasses and immediately starts the engine, before the Veteran Trainer drove the car super fast.
Meanwhile back at Vaniville Town, a Rhyhorn is resting outside the backyard, his Trainer and daughter are unpacking their things after the truck arrived, gathering their stuff. Inside the house is the mother, unpacking the stuff in the kitchen and living room while her daughter gathered her things upstairs.
"Mmm, mom why do we even have to move in the first place?" Serena mutters and looked at her mother Grace, the former Rhyhorn Racer who's too busy unpacking their stuff in the livingroom while Fletchling is roaming around the house.
"Oh Serena, you're gonna love the Kalos region! Its packed with excitement, adventures, new Pokémon and best of all making new friends!" Grace assured her daughter who's too busy staring at her old photos of her friends back home.
"But I have a lot of friends back home... Besides didn't you say that you have a close friend living here?" Serena questioned her mother.
"Yes and she's also a Gogoat Racer who has three daughters and married to Professor Sycamore. Oh Serena you're going to meet them soon." Grace couldn't help but feel really excited to see her friend. "Now hurry up dear, as soon as we're done unpacking then its more Rhyhorn practice." Grace reminded her daughter Serena and took the rest of the things upstairs as well.
"Sigh not again..." Serena whines and gathered her things upstairs to her new bedroom.
Outside the house, Karissa is seen waiting outside for Florina and her car. She even made sure that her sister Alexandra has the list and schedule needed for her three daughters since she relies on her sisters most of the time.
"I hope that Alexandra knows how to read the schedule properly." Karissa whispers to herself. "Last time I told Augustine to make Irene practice for the Gogoat racing but instead she was too busy goofing off. Sigh the girl needs to learn how to become a Gogoat Racer one day..." Karissa sighed and saw one of her four beloved Pumpkaboos landed on her shoulder and smiled.
"Pumpkaboo." The small one sang causing her Trainer to smile at the Pumpkin Pokémon.
Meanwhile back at Lumiose City
"Alright that's one order of mousse au chocolat and three order of choux à la crème coming right up!" Alexandra wrote down the customer's order on her notepad and tour it off before she handed it to Kianna who's busy giving it to Chaz while the rest of her employers are cooking in the kitchen, wrapping the sweets and giving out meals to the costumers. Other side of the bakery, Shauna and Calem are busy unpacking the materials needed for the bakery and are wearing their normal clothes with aprons on.
"I wish I-kins, Trevs, Tierney and Deb were there." Shauna sighed. "It's really boring without them." Shauna lifted another box and handed it to Calem who's also feeling bored as well.
"Tell me about it." Calem muttered. "Say Shaunee how long do we have to work for Alexandra?"
"Let's see... Hmm it says here on that paper that I only have one hour to work and you have to work for the rest of the day!" Shauna sang happily causing Calem to widened his eyes and almost dropped the package.
"Let me see that paper!" Calem dashed towards Shauna and snatched that paper from her. He read the paper carefully. "Mhm, mhm, mhm... and make sure that Calem works extra all day, he's been goofing off all day. Sighed Irene and Shauna." Calem read the last part multiple times, his face turned really red and his eyes became sharp as a knife causing Calem to go insane.
"Isn't it sweet Calem? I-kins lets you work all day and you get to work all day." Shauna assured her friend, unaware that he's very mad that he has to work all day.
"Tell me Shaunee, why's your name on it as well?" Calem pointed the hand written signatures to Shauna who made an innocent at her best friend.
"I don't know Calem?" Shauna answered in a sing-song voice. Before Calem could do something on Shauna, both friends saw Chaz entered the other side of the bakery wearing his normal clothes and apron.
"Yo Shauna, Alexandra says that you can go now." Chaz answered, causing the cheerful girl to squeal.
"Thanks Chaz!" Shauna beamed. "Bye Calem, I'm going to be outside waiting for Debs, I-kins, Tierney and Trevs! If you need anything, call us!" Shauna sang and took off her apron before she exits the door.
"Oh when I get those two, they're in so much trouble! Although they did a good job teasing me though." Calem muttered.
"Hmm wonder how Debbie and her friends are doing?" Lila thought to herself as she walked across South Boulevard in Lumiose City, checking out every boutique shops across the way. It's been a year since Lila went to the party by herself but for some reason, Lila couldn't remember what happened, the last thing she remembered was that the party was over. Her appearance is almost the same except that her hair had grown a bit longer towards the waist and has tied it into a ponytail with a red hair ribbon that she always wears and wears red glasses that suits her ribbon. "Oh dear, I hope Debbie and her friends are okay. Daddy has been obsessed over beauty lately, it's like he's a different person. Why do I have to live with him? Why can't I live with mom and Melly?" Lila questions to herself. "Does the name Delilah suits me well? No, it's Lila now, Delilah was given to me by my father. Oh Arceus why do I have to live with dad? He isn't abusive though and I have a good childhood without a mother... Sigh, I'm glad I have Mable with me, it's like we're a happy family again..." Before Deli- er Lila could think deeply, her phone rang inside her purse that she carries with. "Please don't let it be daddy." She prayed. Lila opened her purse and picked up her phone before she answered it. "Hello... hi da-da-daddy how's business... I see, business is still lot of work I hope your fine... I know daddy... I'm glad to hear that Team Flare is selling the Holo Casters... Okay daddy love you, bye." She hung up her phone and cries. Two years ago, Mariana, her best friend was recruited as new members of Team Flare. For some reason, Lila felt like she's been active with Team Flare lately but couldn't remember though.
Meanwhile in Lumiose City, Patricia drove soo fast that the girls had their hair messed up while Scatterbug was inside Irene's bag the time. She managed to find a parking space right on time and placed her green car there.
"Phew, only fifteen minutes left and I'm right on time for work." Patricia looked at her watch and rubbed her head, causing the girls and Scatterbug to anime faint.
"Then why didn't you drove like a normal person?" Irene answered after she got up from the ground.
"Simple, if I drove slower than it'll take me thirty minutes to get there. But if I drove faster, then ten minutes." Patricia explained to the girls causing them to sweat dropped and squint at the Veteran Trainer.
"Lucky for us, Officer Jenny didn't give Patricia a speeding ticket." Colleen mumbled after she fixed her hair and orange skirt.
"Lucky for you, my uncle's a lawyer." Veronica responded, helping Irene fix her scarf while her mother put on her makeup.
"Excuse me girls, I have to buy myself some coffee before I'm late for work. And honey you go play with your friends and don't talk to strangers okay?" Patricia looked at her daughter, making sure she paid attention.
"Yes mom I will." Veronica answered.
"Good, I'll pick you up at four, and if I'm a little late, stay at your father's arcade." Patricia explained.
"Yes mom I will." Veronica said and saw her mother left for work leaving her, the girls and Scatterbug.
"Soooo what you wanna do in the meantime?" Irene broke the silence and looked at her sister and friend with Scatterbug on her shoulder.
"Well you did say that you wanna see Professor Sycamore's lab and bring his lunch, so that's where we should go." Veronica suggested, causing her friends to flinched and think of something else for few seconds.
"Or I could go visit Clemont and Bonnie to see what they're doing. In the meantime why don't the two of you go shopping or check some cafés." Irene made a recommendation before she finally remembers something. "That's right, I gotta see if Shauna is around, I promise to meet her." Irene giggles before she ran off and happily waved at the girls.
"But what about Professor Sycamore's lunch?" Veronica shouted.
"It could wait!" Irene shouted back and ran of to visit her friends, causing her friend to go really confused.
"Man I'll never understand that girl." Veronica looked at her friend in confusion and placed her arms on her hips. "And here I thought she's always the shy girl, guess it runs in the family..." Veronica muttered after she saw Colleen running around in circle.
"Verony! Verony! Can we go to the toys store? Pretty please! They're having a huge sell on Fairy Pokémon and it's one day only! Pretty pleeaaseee!." Colleen begged and made those cute puppy eyes causing Veronica to rub her head in confusion.
"Oh alright, but how are we going to pay all of those toys? We also needed the money for food Colleen." Veronica looked at Colleen with a determine face and Colleen to think for a bit... Then suddenly Colleen finally remembered something and took out a red credit card from her orange bag.
"We could use this cool credit card that Lindsay found last week. Although her boyfriend Theo was going to use it but he lets me have it for the time being." Colleen suggested and showed the debit card to Veronica. "It even says Ler-zan-der." Colleen tried to pronounced the name on the debit card.
"Sigh it's pronounce Lysandre... LYSANDRE!" Veronica widened her eyes and quickly snatched the card from the ten-year old's grasp and read the name carefully multiple times. "Colleen, this debit card belongs to Lysandre, the owner of the Lysandre Labs and company that created the Holo Caster." Veronica looked shocked after reading the name from the credit card.
"And what will happen next?" Colleen questioned.
"If Lysandre finds out that we're using his debit card, then we're in big trouble you clueless girl." Veronica panicked until Colleen made an excellent suggested.
"Or we could give this to Zack when we're done with it." Colleen said, before Veronica stopped panicking.
"Good idea girlfriend." Veronica beams at her friend. "Besides, Zack would be bragging about that card he has just to attract the women." Veronica smirked. "Although this debit card looks its used often. Do you think that Lysandre owns many accounts?" Veronica questioned.
"Hmm maybe he does, since he also owns a café, a company, a mansion, and a secret laboratory sort of." Colleen answered her question.
"Hmm good point, now come on lets use this debit card before Lysandre catches us." Veronica giggles before she and Colleen dashed straight towards the toy shop.
Route 4 also known as Parterre Way is a place where the famed path's are perfectly designed and executed gardens are its highlight and a special point of pride. Where Debbie and the boys are walking towards the field of flowers along with Inkay and the newly caught Corphish.
"So why are we walking at the flowery field again?" Tierno questioned, causing Debbie to giggle.
"Silly Tierney, we're going to catch another Pokémon but this time in the field. I've already showed you how to fish for Pokémon, so today I'm teaching you how to catch Pokémon in the tall grass or flowers at least." Debbie smiled towards the boys and adjusted her glasses. "Ahem anyways, lets proceed gentlemen." Debbie instruct the boys to follow her to the flower garden.
"I hope we can find some cool rare Pokémon." Trevor couldn't help but feel the excitement through him.
"Yeah and we can also teach this Pokémon to dance!" Tierno who's also feeling excited made a dancing pose, causing his friends to sweat dropped.
"Oh Tierney, is there anything you can think of besides dancing?" Debbie answered.
"Nope! Even if I'm cooking or playing tag, my body couldn't help but feel the need to dance!" Tierno suddenly feel pumping up, causing Trevor and Debbie to sweat dropped.
"I never seen Tierney that pumped up before." Trevor muttered.
"Hey, he's not the only one who's pumped up." Debbie placed her hand on Trevor's shoulder. "Besides there's also I-kins and Shaunie who are also pumped up." Debbie giggles causing Trevor to laugh.
Then suddenly Tierno stopped dancing and both Trevor and Debbie stopped laughing after they heard rustling in the patch of flowers. Causing Trevor to shuddered and Debbie hide behind Tierno, thinking about her greatest fear. Ever since Debbie saw a Beheeyem, the shy girl got so scared, that she needs friends to come to her aid.
"I-I-I hope it's not a Beheeyem..." Debbie muttered after she felt her body felt shaking, even her friends and Inkay noticed it.
"Or maybe a Pyroar!" Tierno panicked, before he hugged Debbie for protection. "If it is, I'll protect Deb and you from a mean Pyroar even if it means running away." Tierno made a brave pose with one arm and another holding Debbie for protection.
"Correction Tierney, Beheeyems aren't found in the Kalos region and Pyroars aren't found in Route 4. Unless you meet their evolution, Litleo or at Friend Safari." Trevor told his friends some interesting facts about Beheeyem and Pyroar and what he knows about but before he could continue, his friends noticed that the rustling Pokémon almost coming towards Trevor, causing their eyes to go widened.
"Trevs look out!" Tierno shouted.
"Duck your head quick!" Debbie warned him before he turned his head and saw a Pokémon coming out of the flower garden.
When the Pokémon came out of the flowers, it is shown to be small and white with green on its bottom half. It has white arms and long, notched ears, and a green tail. It has a rounded yellow crown on its head, beady eyes, blush marks and a small nose and is seen holding an orange flower. After they saw that Pokémon, the three friends calmed down and couldn't help but admire its cuteness.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Tierno questioned his friends. Debbie and Trevor bend down to its level and carefully observed the Single Bloom Pokémon.
"Well it's a Flabebe the Single Bloom Pokémon." Debbie explained to her friends. "According to Sina and Dexio, when a Flabebe is born, it finds a flower and lives in it during its lifespan. Plus Flabebes can also draw out the power out of the flower that it holds and comes in five colors, red, blue, yellow, orange and white."
"That's not all, Flabebes are always female and they're fairy type. But be careful guys, Flabebes can be really sensitive and hide their flowers." Trevor explained more information about Flabebes before the little one got scared and hid in her flower. "Just like that..." Trevor muttered.
"I think Flabebe will be a perfect Pokémon for you Trevs." Debbie replied.
"You think?" Trevor got up and stared at the shy girl with interest.
"Yup, and since you're learning more about Fairy types, I think Flabebe will make a great addition to the family." Debbie smiled at her friend before she turned around and saw that Flabebe is still inside her flower. "It's too bad she's inside her flower."
"I agree with Debs." Tierno muttered. "I wish this job was done easier so we could see I-kins and Shaunie at Lumiose City, Debs mom is baking chocolate chip cookies." Tierno whined, couldn't believe that he and his friends have to find another Pokémon again.
"Hey cheer up guys, at least we didn't meet Lysandre's Pyroar." Debbie comforts her friends and placed her arms on their shoulders. "Besides, I heard that Lysandre's first Pokémon wasn't a Magikarp but a Litleo." Debbie whispers to her friends, telling them everything she knows about Lysandre's first Pokémon. "Race you to the garden maze!" Debbie sang but before she could run, Debbie accidentally tripped on a pebble and almost lose her balance. "Whoooaa!" Debbie began to fall down and landed onto the boys before an empty Pokeball dropped from her bag and enlarged itself. It rolled towards the flowers and landed next to Flabebe.
"Flabebe?" She came out of her orange flower and saw a Pokeball next to her. "Flabebe?" She questioned herself and floated towards the Pokeball. She touched the center of the ball due to her curiosity and the next thing happened, she entered the Pokeball.
Shake, shake, shake, click. Flabebe was caught, while the three friends and the Pokémon couldn't help but feel really surprised by it.
"Well three's another way to catch a Pokémon." Debbie muttered and picked up her Pokeball that has a Flabebe.
"You could say that again." The boys answered in unison.
"In the meantime, why don't we find Shaunie and my cousin? I'm sure they're on their way to Uncle Augustine's lab." Debbie suggested.
"Or maybe they're taking dance lessons from Valarie." Tierno made a theory causing Trevor and Debbie to laugh.
"I think he means ballet." Trevor whispered to Debs.
"I think so too, now come on, we gotta get to Lumiose City and find the others so we could see Uncle Augustine and get your Pokedex." Debbie reminded the boys and they quickly ran straight to the garden maze and towards to Lumiose City. "And remember you two, if we ever meet Lysandre, we should never speak to him or go close towards him." Debbie looked at the boys just to make sure that they're paying close attention.
"Agreed, as part of the group code, we should never talk to strangers unless they are Pokémon Trainers." Tierno understands their code of friendship.
Meanwhile back at Lumiose City shows a boy in a blue and yellow jumpsuit, blonde hair, blue eyes and glasses along with his Clemontic Gear outside of Prism Tower trying to invent something. While his little sister who's standing next to her older brother, has blonde hair, blue eyes, brown top with a ribbon on it, a white miniskirt, black leggings and pink shoes is staring at her older brother.
"The future is now, thanks to science! Behold! The Electrifying Treadmill! With this device, it'll allow me to run extremely fast!" Clemont's glasses shined, looking really proud over his invention, while Bonnie who's sitting by the steps next to the battlefield looks unamuse by her brother's inventions.
"Yeah right, the only thing you're good at is running real slow." Bonnie teases her brother, causing Clemont to get annoyed before he adjusted his glasses and added more vehicles on his invention.
"Well things will change once I use this invention and become the fastest... No the quickest person in Kalos!" Clemont was about to use his invention until Bonnie spotted Irene and Scatterbug passing by, hoping that the siblings will give them some advice.
"Look it's Irene!" Bonnie happily pointed at her friend Irene, causing Clemont to stop what he's doing and turned towards the pinkette and her Pokémon. "Hi Irene! Oh what a cute Pokémon you got there, can I pet it?" Bonnie happily ran towards to Irene and greeted her Scatterbug who's on her shoulder, and thrilled to meet Irene's friends, Clemont and Bonnie.
"Irene what brings you here to Prism Tower? You don't start your journey until next week." Clemont questioned but he couldn't help but admire her outfit that she's wearing, especially her scarf.
"Well I was wondering if the two of you can give me some good advice... And um maybe spend some time with you. I mean if its okay with you Clemont." Irene looked down on the ground, staring at her feet and hoped that its okay with her friends.
"Sure, I don't see why not." Clemont smiled at Irene, causing the pinkette to go excited while Bonnie thinks of a perfect plan for her big brother. "So what's seem to be the problem Irene?" Clemont questioned.
"Well it's about my dad, see..." Irene told everything that happened to her to Clemont and Bonnie, including the events from last year, and visiting her father for tutor due to her low test grades and that her mother made her send this lunch to her father. After telling everything to Clemont and Bonnie, both couldn't help but feel worried and surprised at the same.
"I see, so you're worried that Professor Sycamore hates you due to your low grades and that he won't let you go on a journey." Clemont rephrased Irene's words while Bonnie comforts her friend who's too depressed with Scatterbug on her lap.
"Right and that's not all, my mom made me give dad his lunch, but the truth is... I'm scared to do this and I'm really worried that my dad won't let me go on a Pokémon Journey with my friends; the promise that I made last year on my birthday." Irene couldn't help but feel really upset to do this. What if her dad won't let her? What if he said no? Poor Irene, the girl has a lot to learn.
"Don't worry Irene, I'm sure Professor Sycamore will never say no, especially to you." Bonnie assured her friend and patted on her shoulder.
"How can you tell?" Irene questioned, staring at her friends with interest.
"Well Professor Sycamore is your dad right? I'm sure he knows that you always wanted to go on a journey with your friends and Pokémon!" Bonnie cheered causing Irene to think more to herself.
"Hmm... But what if he really says no?" The worried pinkette asked.
"Well if he says no to you, then you gotta have enough confidence and tell him how you really feel." Clemont assured his friend who couldn't help but blush. "Trust me Irene, Professor Sycamore will never say no to you nor your friends." Clemont smiles at her, and before you know it, Irene stood up and regained her confidence back.
"You're right Clemont, even if my dad says no which I hope not, I can try to convince him until he say yes!" Irene sounds serious and made a pose, with Scatterbug following her and made a pose as well.
"Yeeaahhh! You go girl!" Bonnie cheers.
"Oh, I almost forgot something." Irene walked towards Clemont and gave him a nice warm hug before his glasses shone and his cheeks began to blush. "Thank you for the beautiful ring Clemont, it's really thoughtful of you. Oh and Bonnie thanks for that flute you gave me." Irene smiles at Clemont's little sister and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"You're welcome Irene, and I hope you find a wonderful husband." Bonnie winked at Irene who's picking up her Scatterbug and held her on her arms, while Clemont began to get suspicious, what beautiful ring?
"I hope so to Bonnie." Irene cheers thinking about her future husband and who it will be. "I hope it's Grant, he's really amazing or maybe Siebold the legendary cook, sigh." Irene daydreams and dreams of meeting her future boyfriend and soon to become husband. She imagines herself wearing a beautiful pink gown and a tiara with her boyfriend right next to her in the ballroom. They were about to kiss until she heard someone calling her and opened her eyes to see who it is.
"Hey I-kins!" Shauna yelled cheerfully, waving her arm at the trio.
"Shaunee!" Irene happily yelled back and is thrilled to see her best friend Shauna. "Au revoir Clemont, au revoir Bonnie, I'll see you guys later!"Irene happily waved at her friends with one hand and climb up the stairs to meet up with Shauna before Clemont finally discovers something.
"Wait a minute, the flute was supposed to be from me, so why would Irene think I gave her that ring. Unless..." Clemont began to speculate while Bonnie quietly walks away from her brother before he turned his head in anger with his glasses shining.
"Bonnie!" Clemont yelled at his little sister. "How many times do I have to tell you not to do this?!" Clemont couldn't help but blushed in embarrassment after he finds out that Bonnie switched his gift with hers on purpose.
"You know you need somebody to take care of you!" Bonnie reminds her brother. "I think Irene will make you a nice wife!" Bonnie smiles at her embarrassed brother.
"That does it, activate Aipom Arm!" Clemont was about to use his Aipom Arm on Bonnie but luckily his little sister dodges it. "Bonnie get back here right this instant!" Clemont chases after his little sister for the rest of the day.
"Wow Shaunee its really great to see you!" Irene hugged her friend tightly, crying tears of joy along with Shauna who's also crying tears of joy as well.
"Sniff, me too I-kins!" Shauna hugged her friend back before she let's go of her and felt really determine. "Besides I'm also gonna come and help you convince Professor Sycamore so that you we can go on a journey together!" Shauna made a serious face while Irene couldn't help but cry.
"Sniff, sniff, thanks Shaunee, you're the best friend that a girl can ever have." Irene began to cry for few minutes before Shauna wiped those tears off her face with a handkerchief.
"Anytime I-kins, now come on we gotta bring Professor Sycamore his lunch before he gets really hungry!" Shauna sang cheerfully and the duo were about to meet Professor Sycamore until they hear voices.
"Shaunee! I-kins!" Shauna and Irene turned their head and saw Tierno calls their names along with Trevor, Debbie and Calem who completely forgot about the letter, thanks to Chelsea's mother's delicious honey cakes. The four friends finally caught up with their best friends before they catch their breaths.
"Hey you guys!" Irene cheers after seeing her friends and cousin are around her. "So what are you guys doing, I thought you all are busy." Irene tilted her head in confusion, she remembers that they'll be busy and won't meet her till tonight or tomorrow.
"Well we were done with our lessons and the boys and I were going to see you and Shauna at Prism Tower in Lumiose City." Debbie answered to her cousin.
"But after Colleen used Veronica's Holo Caster to tell us what happened, we quickly ran as fast as we could and hopefully we would find you." Trevor continued for Debbie.
"Luckily we found Calem along the way." Tierno assured his friends, patting Calem's shoulder and hugged Irene. "Oh I-kins, I hope Professor Sycamore doesn't say no to you." Tierno began to cry. After what Veronica told her friends what happened, Shauna, Tierno and Trevor began to cry. Without I-kins, their journey won't be epic. And not only that but their group will also be incomplete as well.
"Me too, Irene!" Trevor hugged Irene by the waist and sobbed on her shirt. While Calem and Debbie couldn't help but feel really concerned for their friends.
"Guys calm down." Calem brought attention to the four sobbing friends. "Even if Professor Sycamore said no, we're going to convince him to let I-kins go on a journey with us no matter what! Because that's what friends do, always stick together." Calem looked at his friends before they stopped crying.
"He's right you guys!" Irene regained her confidence and took a deep breath. "Because our next mission is to bring this lunch to my dad and make sure he doesn't say no!" Irene happily lifted her arm in the air along with the five friends and Scatterbug.
"YEAH!" All six friends cheered.
"So what are we waiting for you guys, we have to get to Professor Sycamore's lab and fast!" Debbie reminded her friends before they ran quickly as they could to find Professor Sycamore's lab.
An hour later, six friends ran as fast as they could until they finally reached Professor Sycamore's lab. But before they all enter his lab, each member of the team needs to catch their breath and wipe that sweat off their face before they could proceed. With Trevor, Tierno and Calem have sweat on their face, Debbie, Shauna and Irene have sweat on both their face and hair.
"Sigh, sigh, sigh, we could have taken the Lumi Cab." Irene took a deep breath and quickly wiped the sweat off her forehead and pour some water on her face.
"Except that the Taxi Cabs are really expensive based on the location you want to go, unless your stylish though." Debbie reminded her friends.
"Agree, and even if we do take a ride in the Lumi Cab, one of us have to pay or have to battle." Tierno added.
"Which is why we have buy Roller Skates, the next time we run but after we get our Starter Pokémon though." Calem made a quick recommendation before Shauna passed him a bottle of water and drank on it. "Gulp, gulp, gulp."
"Sigh okay guys, you know what to do?" Irene turned towards her friends, making sure that they paid close attention.
"Give uncle Augustine his lunch, convince him to let you go on a journey, have dinner with my dad tonight in Lumiose City and finally we stay at your place for the rest of our week for our journey preparation." Debbie happily said all the steps that her cousin wrote for her and luckily she's the only one in the group who remembers though.
"Right Debbie." Irene smiled at her cousin before she looked at her dad's lab and felt goosebumps coming towards her body. "Gulp here we go guys." Irene panicked, holding her Pokémon real tight towards the chest.
"Don't worry I-kins, we're there for you." Shauna assured her friend, placing her hand on her left shoulder.
"Friends have to stick together no matter what." Tierno smiled, placing his hand on her right shoulder.
"Even if it takes days or weeks." Trevor smiles and held her arm softly.
"Or months." Debbie gave her cousin a warm smile and held her other hand softly.
"We'll always travel together because we're family." Calem wrapped his arm around Irene's waist.
"You guys..." Irene whispers softly. "That's really sweet of you, sigh let's do this." Irene said, they all let go of her and walked towards to Professor Sycamore's lab. When they all entered the lab, the six friends couldn't help but admire the inside of the 1st floor. It has pictures of Pokémon from different regions, the tiles look really neat and gorgeous, the chairs and sofas look real nice and fancy along with the glass table. Across there is the big plasma t.v. with decorated plants and painted blue walls. Across there is Doris the receptionist and secretary who's really happy to see Irene and her friends.
"Hi Doris!" Irene cheers, waving at the receptionist.
"Hello Irene, it's great to see you again." Doris beams at the young Trainer and noticed that she brought her friends and cousin. "Oh, I see that you brought Debbie and friends along. Have you improved your test grades?"
"Um, well you see-" Irene was about to say something to Doris until Shauna interrupts the conversation.
"Why yes, yes she does." Shauna sang cheerfully. "I-kins, Tierney, Trevs and I worked super-duper hard, especially on our tests." Shauna grinned, hugging her friends.
"More like too busy goofing off all day." Calem smirked but got shoved on the shoulder by Debbie.
"I see, make sure you see your father okay?" Doris reminds the pinkette who's still holding her Scatterbug after she hears the word dad. "The Professor has been talking a lot about you the most lately. He even couldn't help but keep pictures of you and your sisters lately." Doris giggles before she happily smiles at the six children who are entering the elevator and go up the third floor. Despite that, no one wants to press the button not even shy Debbie nor the competitive Calem. Few seconds later, Scatterbug thought the elevator buttons are fun to play with causing the Scatterdust Pokémon to hit the button that says 3rd floor on the head.
"NO!" Everyone said in unison but it was too late, the elevator sent them to third floor and the next thing happens, the elevator opened to Professor Sycamore's office. Inside his office are pictures and information on both Pokémon and Mega Evolution and Professor Sycamore sitting in his desk doing paper work.
"Do you think that the Professor would noticed that we're here?" Tierno whispers quietly towards his friends.
"As long as we don't make any noise Tierney." Calem whispers back. "So whatever we do, we make a run for." Calem suggested to his friends, then suddenly Irene remembers something.
"Oh I almost forgot." Irene took out the bento lunch box from her bag with one hand while the other hand is holding her Scatterbug. And luckily the lunch inside is A-okay. "I better place this bento lunch box on the table before my dad sees us." Irene whispers to her friends.
"Trevs and I will come with you." Shauna sang cheerfully but softly.
"Just in case if the Professor sees us, I'll give the signal." Trevor reminds his friends.
"Thanks guys, you're the best!" She whispers. Irene lets Tierno holds Scatterbug for a while, since the Scatterdust Pokémon might cause another trouble for the six friends just like the elevator. Irene, Shauna and Trevor tip-toes towards the table but as gentle as they could so that her father wouldn't noticed that she and her friends are there. She turned her head to make sure that her father didn't see her. "Phew, good thing dad didn't notice that we're there but why do I get this feeling that he's not alone..." And Luckily Professor Sycamore didn't see them but for some reason, the six friends feel that as if the Professor isn't alone. As Irene gently placed the bento lunch box on the table with a cheerful smile, she noticed that her friends and Scatterbug are frightened, but what?
"I-kins, Trevs, Shaunee, whatever you do; don't move." Tierno warns his three best friends who are unknowingly standing right next to a Pokémon.
"Why?" All three answered unison in a confusion tone. Then Trevor turned his head to find out why the others are frightened until he noticed that a Pokémon is right next to him and the girls and its a bipedal dragon-like Pokémon that is primarily dark blue, with a red underbelly that covers from the middle of its abdomen, to its jaws and the undersides of its arms. Underneath is a gold diamond shape along with a gold cross on its snout. The Pokémon leans its head towards the girls, staring at them with interest until Irene began to scream while Shauna and Trevor held onto her waist.
"That's why!" Trevor screams causing the girls to scream so loudly that it'll shatter the glass window to pieces.
"AAAHHHH MONSTER!" Irene screamed so loudly that the Professor stopped doing his paper work and tries to find out what's happening. Then Professor Sycamore stood up from his chair and saw that his Garchomp is staring at the six frightened children with interest.
"What's going on here?" Professor Sycamore sound really stern until he saw his daughter, niece and their friends acting scared towards his Garchomp. "Irene, Debbie, Shauna, Trevor, Tierno and Calem? Would someone tell me what's going on here?" Professor Sycamore sounds very mad before his face turns softer he saw his child become frightened towards his Garchomp.
Few moments later...
"I see, so Karissa made you go all the way to Lumiose City just to bring me lunch. But you got scared because you're worried that I won't let you go on a journey nor get your Starter Pokémon due to your low test scores?" Professor Sycamore rephrased his daughter's statement with his arms folded.
"Yes and not only that, I was worried that you might hate me because of that." Irene whispered with her head down, she doesn't want her dad to see her cry or he'll get really mad at her.
"Oh please Professor without I-kins, we won't have a great journey." Shauna begged.
"Please Professor Sycamore!" The boys answered in unison and began to cry.
"Sniff oh uncle Augustine..." Debbie cried, holding a handkerchief with one hand and took off her glasses with the other hand. Instead of becoming angry, Professor Sycamore couldn't help but chuckled.
"Now why would I do that?" Professor Sycamore asked the six Trainers before they all stopped crying and stared at him. "Even though I might get mad at Irene for having low grades and mess things up, I still want my child to go on a journey with her friends, including Lindsay and Colleen." Professor Sycamore answered causing everyone to cheer and the pinkette happily gave her dad a big hug.
"Thanks daddy, you're the best!" Irene gave her father a hug and snuggled on his warm chest. Then Professor Sycamore looked at his daughter, and was glad to see her cheerful self.
"I'm really glad to hear it." The Professor happily smiles at his daughter, who's now excited for her journey soon. But he stopped smiling after he realized what his wife had told him about Irene in which his face turns really serious. "But that doesn't mean that I've forgotten your distraction over boys. Your mother told me that you've become really distracted over boys lately and failed most of your classes lately." Professor Sycamore noticed that Irene was looking down the ground, feeling really embarrassed that her father already knows which could show that her father also wants her to stop being too distracted on boys.
"Right..." Irene blushes, placing her arm on her head.
"But before you and your friends go, have you decided which Starter that you'll be choosing?" The Professor questioned his daughter.
"Mhmhm, already decided, but it's a secret." Irene sang and winked at her dad before she and her friends left the office, exits the lab and head straight towards the café that's only few yards away. But for some reason, Debbie gave two Pokeballs that contained both Corphish and Flabebe to Professor Sycamore and quickly caught up to her friends.
"I never seen Professor Sycamore so serious before." Tierno looked at his friends with curiousity, staring at his friend with interest.
"That's because he's my dad Tierno." Irene answered and drank her glass of soda.
"Well like all fathers, uncle Augustine can be quite serious often, especially when it comes to education." Debbie points out smiling.
"Right..." Irene sweat dropped at her cousin. "Speaking of education, my sister Colleen and Veronica bought lots of stuff for us, especially those plushies I've always want and there delicious snacks!" Irene sang while her friends and cousin are excited about it.
"Oh goody!" Shauna said in a sing-song tone. "Hope they brought some Casteliacones."
"Wonder how they bought a lot of stuff?" Trevor questioned.
"Who cares, all that matters that we get to have lunch." Tierno answered.
"Some things sure never change." Debbie mutters.
"Sigh, this is why I hate Rhyhorn Racing." Serena grumbles with her face covered in bruises in scars. After practicing for the Rhyhorn racing, the poor girl keeps falling and falling all day with bruises and marks on her face. Serena decided to walk outside of her home for some fresh air so that she could avoid much more pain and suffering from her mother.
"Phew, glad that mom isn't there or she'll make me practice more." Irene muttered and took out her notepad that she carries with often to check her list. "Hmm let's see, after I change, I get to meet the gang at Aquacorde Town where uncle Oswald will pick us up. There he and dad will have dinner at a five-star restaurant while the gang and I have dinner with aunt Alexandra..." But stopped when she saw a familiar face walking across town. "Could it be?" Irene whispers as she walked towards to Serena until she turned around and recognized the pinkette's face with her eyes widened with joy.
"Irene?"
"Serena?"
The girls immediately hugged each other, crying tears of joy. With Scatterbug watching the scene, as both Irene and Serena couldn't believe that it's been so long since they were separated.
"It's great to see you Serena!" Irene cheers as she held her old childhood friend closer, feeling her arms wrapped around her waist.
"It's great to sew you too Irene." Serena smiled at Irene as the pinkette blushes before she continues talking. "Irene, you look quite different since I last saw you, did you got yourself a new look?" Serena admires Irene's new outfit as she remembers the day when the pinkette wore her glasses and got extremely shy over new people.
"Well sort off, aside the glasses that is..." Irene blushes as she remembers the time when she got scared over simple things and the time she first met Shauna and the others. "But Serena there's something I want to ask you."
"What would that be?" Serena stares at her with interest.
"Will you travel with me on my Pokemon Journey? Just you, me and the others... I mean it's been so long that I couldn't count the days and months." Irene lblushes at her friend, as Serena looked at her friend with a calm expression.
"Irene.." Serena thought as the duo continued gazing towards one another.

Brook- "Yohohoho! Debbie it's great to see you!" The skeleton greets the young girl as she held onto Inkay.
Debbie- "Sanji, Brook, it's great to see you. Hold on shouldn't you be in One Piece?" Debbie asked two Straw Hats Pirates with Brook chuckling at the young girl.
Brook- "That could wait but more importantly... May I see your panties? If not tell me the color of it." Brook asked the eleven year old with joy, hoping to see panties of an eleven year old but got hit on the skull by Sanji's leg.
Sanji- "You perverted skeleton! Quit harassing Debbie-san and your ridiculous schemes." Sanji yells at the perverted skeleton, leaving a big bump on Brook's skull.
Brook- "All I want is to see what it's like see panties of a little girl... Yohohoho.." Brook whispered leaving Debbie and Inkay confused with sweat drop on the back of their heads.
