Piko Utatane was sitting backstage after a Vocaloid concert, eyeing the new game that his 'sister', Miku, had bought him.
'Pokemon.' he thought to himself. 'Sounds cool enough.'
He had never been one for video games, but Piko was sure that if the name of the game series was a made up word, it had to be good. Pokemon was an especially good, made up word to him.
So, he took the game from the case and inserted it into his new Nintendo DS. The screen loaded and Piko started a new 'adventure' on the game.
He typed in his name: "Piko".
The next one threw the teen off.
"Are a girl or a boy?"
Piko already angry.
"Are you kidding me?" Piko exclaimed as he immediately closed the lid of the DS, "I'm not that girly-looking!"
"A am definitely a boy!"
"... a man."
"... that has definitely gone through puberty."
"... maybe..."
Len sat down after a long performance, eyeing the DS that had be carelessly thrown on the floor near him. He didn't know whose DS it was, but it had to be a fellow Vocaloid's and all the Vocaloids like him.
So he decided to play it.
Pokemon.
He typed his name in: "Len".
Then, to his disbelief, the game asked him a strange question.
"Are you Len Kagamine?"
Len replied "Yes" to that question.
The DS was flung across the room with a message written on the screen;
"Which Pokemon do you want, shota?"
That awkward moment when Professor Oak can't tell if you're a girl or a boy.

:D I don't like this one (the story I wrote), but I like the awkward moment quote so yeah... xD

To be honest, I don't like Piko very much, I dislike his voice (kinda sounds like a mix of a girl and a boy to me) and I hate his outfit... what's with the USB cord? XD
But I love the usage of him in fanfics and I am usually a fan of Piko x Len in fanfics too. :D
