No POV:

The next couple of weeks went by quickly. Adam and Clare hung out on a regular basis like usual. Clare never had the guts to ask Adam if he knew who she hooked up with. She was too ashamed of what his reaction would be.

Adam waited for Clare to ask him or confide in him, he knew that she was hurting. He desperately wanted to help her out and ask her the question that has burning in the back of his mind, 'Are you on birth control?'

He wanted to ask, but the moment he did, she would know he knew about her actions at the party, and he didn't want to embarrass her.

Eli and Adam talked about the party often. Eli asked Adam repeatedly who it was he had sex with, but Adam refused to budge. He decided to not break or violate Clare's trust. Not yet at least.

Clare's POV:

It has been two weeks since Adam's god awful party. I was so upset about it. Only person who knew I had sex at that party was Ali, and she swore she wouldn't tell another sole. I trusted Ali, but sometimes she can be a bit of a blabber mouth.

The guilt of the party was eating me up inside, so I decided to call up Adam and tell him everything. I needed to know if he knew anything about the party. I needed to know if he knew about the mystery boy I had sex with. I decided to call Adam up and have him meet me up at The Dot so we could talk.

At The Dot:

When I called Adam and asked him to meet me up at The Dot, he quickly said yes. I waited in The Dot for ten minutes before I saw Adam's BMW pull into a parking space. I smile a little, but quickly frown when I realize the reason I asked him to show up here for.

I tried to hide my expression of sadness from Adam when he walked in because I didn't want him to grill me for reasons until I had a chance to ask him something myself.

Finally Adam got to the table, he and I shared a small smile and he looked at me and said, "are you okay baby blue? You sounded distraught on the phone." Adam said.

"Adam, I need to ask you something. " Clare said.

"Sure, go ahead." Adam said.

"Do you know who I had sex with at your party ?" Clare questioned.

"Yes." Adam said simply.

"Please tell me." I now had tears rolling down my face.

"It was one of my other friends from Lake Hurst." Adam Replied.

"W-what's his name?" I stuttered.

"Eli Goldsworthy." Adam replied.

"Okay, now I need to ask you something else." Clare said.

"Anything." Adam said.

"Did he talk to you about this at all?" Clare questioned.

"Yes, but I didn't tell him who you are." Adam replied.

"Thank you Adam. I need to know one more thing." She requested

"okay?" He questioned.

"Did he mention if he used a condom or not?" She questioned.

"he said he didn't, he and I just assumed you were in birth control." He said nervously.

"Adam, I went off from birth control last year when K.C. and I broke up." She nearly shouted.

" Are you serious? Well I guess you better be extra cautious, and pray you get your period soon." He replied.

"Some help you are." I muttered.

"What am I suppose to say Clare, if I would have know two of my good friends would be 'hooking up' I would have sent condoms with you." Adam said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry, I'm just nervous is all." She said sadly.

"Me too. Look Clare, I have to go but I will call you later." He said before getting up.

I said good bye, and I starred down at my now half empty glass of coke. Tears of agony and sadness slowly fell from my face when I realize I might have screwed up my whole life by being so careless.

Eli's POV:

Day after day I grilled Adam for a detail as to my mystery girl, but his lips were sealed. At least until today. When I went over to his house to chill, I asked him once more. "Please just tell me who she was." I pleaded.

"Fine, I already talked to her, so I guess you can know now. Her name is Clare Edwards." Adam said.

"Oh." Is all I could say.

"look, there is something you need to know about your guy's hook up." Adam stated.

"And that would be?" Eli questioned.

"She stopped taking birth control, and according to you there were no condoms being used." Adam said nervously.

"What! N-no." I scream and stutter.

"Sorry dude, but so far she hasn't missed her period, so maybe everything will work out." Adam said.

"Let's just hope you are right." I mutter.

I mentally kicked myself for this one, I may have impregnated a girl who I don't even remember. That is just great.

No POV:

Adam was torn between what to do to help. He knew Eli would freak out when he knew Clare wasn't on birth control, and he knew Clare would panic as well. There was no fixing this right now, what's done is done.

When Clare found out about the whole 'incident' she was hurt and in great agony. She just wanted to die, she knew that if this resulted badly, she would be alone without a clue. All she knew about him was his name and he goes to Lake Hurst. That was it, she knew nothing else about this guy. He was still a huge mystery to her.

As far as Eli knew, he was okay. Adam said Clare hadn't missed her period, so as far as Eli knew he was in the clear. He could help but to still worry, he knew that the possibilities were still there. The possibility of him becoming a father at sixteen. That scarred the shit out of him.

Clare's POV:

I knew who he was. I knew his school, but I didn't really know him. I needed to know him, but I was too ashamed to even ask Adam for Eli's number. I was way too embarrassed to admit that I made a huge mistake to anyone besides Adam and Ali. But I knew that if I didn't talk to Eli, I would regret it.

I pondered for an hour thinking of ways to ask Adam for Eli's number. Finally I decided to be blunt and call Adam and ask.

Ring Ring, "Hello?"

"Hey Adam, I was wondering something."

"Go ahead."

"Can I have Eli's number, I would like to talk to him."

"Sure, I think he would like to talk to you too."

Adam gave me the number, we said our goodbyes and hung up.

More nervous than ever, I decided to call up Eli.

Ring ring…"Hello?"

"Hey Eli, this is …."

A/N: Oops a cliff hanger…I wonder how their conversation will go? Well I guess you will have to wait and see. Next chapter will be Eli and Clare mostly. I will update soon. Please review!
