Starlight lit up the night sky as a small group of rabbits were lead outside for silflay, a snow white doe with black markings stood out quite brightly in the low light as her amber eyes discreetly surveyed the three large bucks that stood guard around the perimeter, recognising them as members of the Owsla that resided under Captain Campion's authority which she wasn't surprised by as it seems her group had been put under his protection a lately.
Deciding it best just to ignore them for now, she tucked into some much appreciated, though plain and mundane, silflay. Her long ears twitched slightly as they caught the sound of the Owsla straightening their guard, panic struck her for a brief second wondering if there was a Elil around, listening more carefully she realised it wasn't a threat when she heard the soft pawsteps of a newcomer approaching, taking a moment to scent the air told her exactly who it was as well as they settled beside her, without bothering to look up she addressed them in a rather bored manner. "Don't you have Patrol's to carry out?"
"Hello to you as well, Frostbite." Spoke the buck, then continued on whilst tilting his head in question. "I trust you are faring well?"
"I'm quite fine, thank you." She answered tersely, looking at the brown buck she frowned slightly. "If you keep missing your Patrol's to come talk to me Cap. Campion, people are going to talk."
"Then let them, I see no problem with that." He looked at her seriously, "It should mean that the other officers keep their distance."
Fighting a scoff, Frostbite replied speedily. "And why should they keep their distance exactly?"
He smirked slightly, amusement clear in his voice. "I'm sorry, I was under the impression that you didn't like having the Owsla hound you constantly?"
Frostbite got flustered by this and looked away from Campion, noticing the sly glances Campion's officers were shooting at them. She desperately wanted to ask the buck about her little brother, but knew if she did that it would be seen as a weakness and would show that she had too much trust in this captain of Owsla. "...You should probably go on your patrol now, Captain."
The Captain of Owsla released a sigh. "Very well." He stood to leave, but hesitated before actually leaving. "Just so you know, there's an outsider who joined us today, he's being trained up to be in the Owsla...keep your distance for him, okay? I don't quite trust him."
