Reminder of the names: Riolu - Aura, Shinx - Lox.

"I have a partner! I have a partner" Lox kept on yelling as they went through Treasure Town jumping beside Aura, who was silently gritting her teethes, she opened her mouth to yell at Lox just as a yell shock the earth, the whole town turned towards the town square where a Exploud was standing and glaring at Lox, who had landed face first on the ground, "ops forgot I was waiting for someone…" Lox mumbled as she got off the ground and went over to Exploud, Aura took a step back before taking a deep breath and followed Lox.

"ARE YOU THE ONE WHO WANT'S TO BE PART OF THE GUILD?" Exploud yelled although quieter than the yell before, Lox nodded as her ears were ringing "GOOD, THEN FOLLOW ME" Exploud turned around and took a step before noticing Aura "YOU TWO TOGETHER?" He asked as he was inspecting her, Aura nodded faintly "yes, she's my partner!" Lox said happily, Exploud looked at Lox and then back at Aura "SHE DON'T FEEL BAD, COME ON THEN!" He yelled and started walking again, Lox jumped after while Aura stood behind and hid a small grin, "I'm almost in, master!" she thought before running after her 'new partner'.

They followed Exploud to small cross way leading down to the beach, out of town, or towards the stairs leading to the Guild. Lox jumped straight to the stairs and was about to jump up when Aura grabbed her tail and pulled her back to the ground beside her. Exploud had stopped at the second step, and by the look in his eyes they were supposed to stand below him. "IF YOU WISH TO BE APPRENTICES AT THIS GUILD, YOU HAVE TO PASS A TEST!" Exploud yelled, Lox blinked a bit confused before breaking into a big smile, "you mean adventure?" Lox asked hopefully, Exploud nodded and Lox started jumping around him and Aura in a big circle, "get down!" Aura sighed but Lox wasn't listening, Exploud looked at Lox before turning around, "SMEARGLE!" He yelled so loud the earth shock under them, Lox lost her footing right as she jumped and there for landed on Aura, who had also lost a bit of her balance.

Barely a second later a Smeargle appeared at the top of the stairs, before half running, half jumping down the stairs only to halt right before Exploud, Aura pushed Lox of her and sent a glare towards the loud Pokémon and noticed the Smeargle almost covered in paint, "what?" Smeargle asked and tried removing some of the paint from her face, only to smear it more. Exploud ignored the paint and yelled for her to go get the 'special map' Smeargles eyes widened and snapped her head to look at Aura and Lox, before dashing up the stairs. Lox was trying to hold back laughter at the sight of the stairs, now nicely decorated by footprints. Soon Smeargle was running down the stairs again just this time waving, what Aura assumed, a map. "I got the map!" Smeargle yelled in excitement only to fall over her own tail and rolled down a few steps, she stopped just by Exploud and lifted her hand with the map to him, Exploud snatched the paper from her before opening it and looked at it, Smeargle had stood up by this point.

"SMEARGLE…" Exploud yelled, although quietly.

"… yes…?" Smeargle asked carefully, while wringing her tail between her hands.

Exploud took a deep breath, held it and yelled: "IT'S THE WRONG MAP!".

Smeargle looked confused for a second as she reached for the map, "I was so sure I got the right one…" Smeargle mumbled and folded it again, "WELL IT ISNT, SO GO GET THE REAL MAP!" Exploud yelled in anger and glared as Smeargle tried to make herself look bigger, it made her look fluffy instead, "you know how many maps I have its normal to make a few mistakes" she explained with a huff.

"YOU TAKE THE WRONG MAP, ALL THE TIME!" Exploud yelled, at this Lox finally couldn't keep her laughter in any longer, Aura was staring blankly at them. Smeargle quietly went up the stair again, and returned shortly after with another map. Exploud looked at it before nodding and returned his attention on Lox and Aura, who had to hit Lox to get her to shut up. "THIS IS THE TREASURES LOCATION" Exploud yelled and handed the map to Aura, who opened it so that Lox could look to.

"Wait a second… This is-"

"OH MY ARCEUS, WERE GOING TO APPLE WOODS! WOO HOO!"

Smeargle will get a nickname to but it's my friends job to come up with them. The next chapter probably wont be out for a long time, mostly because of the small fact have I have friends now aaaaaand my exams are just around the corner…
