All right, so I didn't take over the world last time I tried. Why? Because I made stupid mistakes. But I'm back, and I'll go to any lengths to see that this time, I cannot fail!

2. Still Day 1

If you can read this, you are about to die. Painfully.

So, this day and entry mark the beginning of Operation: Conquer Middle-earth (Take Two). I've got a long road ahead of me, even more difficult than before. No Ring, no Nazgul, no undefeated record to boost troop morale. And why is that? Because I made stupid mistakes. This time, I'm being smart! This time, I'm being careful! This time, I will not waste my time in fits of maniacal laughter! Oh, well just this once. Excuse me…

Ah, that's better. So anyway, after examining my previous records, I have decided that my biggest problem was- a lack of personal involvement. That's right, no more giant flaming eyeballs sitting at the top of a tower while the inefficient underlings run the war. When I design my new incarnate form, it will still be terrifying. It will still be awe-inspiring. But it will be mobile, and it will have opposable thumbs.
