˝What's wrong? ˝ Asked the red-haired boy nervously.
The three Uchiha looked at each other. The boy surely wasn't an Uchiha he looked more like an Uzumaki with whiskers because of his red hair, yet he possessed the Sharingan Döjutsu. This boy, clearly no older than five just waltzed to the gates of Konoha with a fully matured Sharingan. But. It was different than other ˝normal˝ eyes. It had four tomoe in each eye.
˝I have never seen something like this in my whole life! It doesn't say anything about a four tomoe sharingan in the Uchiha library. It is unheard of˝ Exclaimed Kagami. ˝How did you get it? ˝
The boy tilted his head in confusion ˝what are you talking about mister? ˝
The father blinked at his answer.
´He doesn't even know about it´
Shisui tugged at his father's uniform, when he heard the boy's stomach growl again.
˝Father, I don't think this is the right time and place to talk about this, I mean we promised him food and shelter, so we should keep our promises. ˝
Kagami looked at his son ˝you're right... ˝ he undressed the top of his uniform and offered it to the boy. The boy was looking at the father straight in the eyes, not moving an inch.
˝Here, it's for you ˝ Kagami smiled.
˝M...Me? ˝
˝Yes, you must be cold, right? ˝ He dressed up the boy.
˝Th...Thank you mister. ˝ Naruto blushed a little. The coat was very warm.
˝Tell us your name, boy. ˝ Maaya crouched down on the boys eye level and started caressing his red hair.
˝Naruto. ˝
˝That´s a nice name˝ she smiled. ˝Who gave it to you? ˝
˝I don't know. I never had parents, or a family. ˝
It broke her heart. A cute little boy like him has probably gone through so much tough things in his life. She glanced at Kagami and Shisui and then smiled. ˝Well now you do! ˝ He looked at her with a confused expression on his face. She pointed at her husband ˝He is Kagami-your new father..˝ then at Shisui
˝... he is Shisui-nii-san...˝ and at herself ˝...and I will be your mother, Maaya. ˝ smiles on their faces. They had to do at least this much for this poor kid.
˝Nice to meet you, son! ˝ Shisui ruffled Narutos hair. ˝I always wanted a younger brother. ˝
Naruto put his index finger on his lips, and hesitated for a moment, and then repeated after her. ˝Kagami , Shisui-nii-san and Maaya...˝
The three nodded. The mother extended her hand to Naruto. His Sharingan deactivated, showing his azure blue eyes, overflowing with tears, tears of happiness. He ran to Maaya, hugging her tightly, wrapping his arms around her neck, weeping into her chest.
˝Mother…Mother! ˝
Naruto soon fell asleep in her arms from exhaustion, her chest soaked from his tears. The three decided to not talk about the spectacle that are Narutos eyes, not until they figured out what a four tomoe Sharingan is capable of, or at least getting some information on how the boy got it. Plus, there are many people even in Konoha trying to steal rare eyes. For now they will keep their new sons eyes a secret. Only a few trusted people would get to know about it. She picked him up and carried him through the gates, while Shisui and Kagami used their Sharingan on the gatekeepers to knock them out. When the guards were asleep, Maaya, Shisui and Kagami wrote their names along with Narutos in the log, making sure that no questions were asked about the red-haired boy. They were walking the quiet streets of Konoha, it was already close to morning when the smell of meat and noodles awoke the boy from his short slumber.
˝What is this smell? ˝
Maaya laughed. ˝That my son is Ramen. ˝
˝Ra...men? ˝
˝Would you like to try it? ˝
˝Mhmm, please M..M..Mother... ˝ he blushed, and she giggled smiled softly.
˝Maaya, I can't go, I have to inform the clan, that we arrived. ˝
˝Okay. Well, see you later then. ˝ She kissed him goodbye.
˝Then it's me, Shisui and you Naruto. ˝

At Ichirakus ramen shop.
Shisui and his mom ordered three bowls of miso ramen. Naruto looked at his mom and brother and saw them gulping down the food, so he did the same.
˝Wow! This is delicious! ˝ He exclaimed happily ˝Mister! ˝ he looked at the chef. ˝What's your name! ˝
˝Me? I´m Teuchi. ˝ He smiled.
˝Well mister Teuchi, my name's Naruto, and I can see us being good friends, if you continue making food like this! ˝
˝Hohohoho! Well nice to meet you Naruto! I must say your hair looks just like the Hokages wife! ˝
Shisui and Maaya exchanged glances. ´He does look like Kushina-sama, but if he would be of the Uzumaki bloodline, he wouldn't have the Sharingan.´They thought at the same time.
Maaya looked at her new son, how he was smiling, completely different then how he was a couple of hours ago.
´I guess this is his real character. Poor boy. I wonder what he went through.´
*slurp!* ˝Aaaah! This was delicious! ˝ said Naruto with a large smile on his face.
˝Well, I´m glad you liked it Naruto! ˝
˝Mhm! I'll definetely come here a lot more mister Teuchi! I...I mean if mother will let me. ˝
He looked at his mother and she smiled and ruffled his hair. ˝Yeah you will be allowed to go, but not all the time though. ˝
˝Hai! ˝
˝Let´s go home Naruto˝
He looked at his mother in disbelief. He had a family. ˝H...Home... ˝ tears started falling down his face again as he ran to her and hugged her. ˝...thank you for giving me a home and a family mom. ˝
˝Oooooh, no problem Naruto-kun! Let´s go! ˝ she extended her arm to Naruto and he took it.
˝Bye mister Teuchi! See you later! ˝ He waved him goodbye.
˝Shisui-nii... ˝Naruto extended his hand to Shisui, and he took it and smiled. Now they were walking hand in hand in the streets of Konoha, which was slowly starting to fill up with people. Shisui on the left, Naruto in the middle and Maaya on the right, all three smiling wholeheartedly.
˝Shisui-nii? ˝
˝yes? ˝
˝Are you a ninja? ˝
˝Yes I am, why do you ask Naruto? ˝
˝Will you train me, to become strong, so I can protect myself and my you all? ˝
Shisui crouched down, to be on Narutos eye level and smiled. ˝Sure, after you have adjusted to this life we will have our first lesson. Okay? And during lessons I won't be Shisui-nii, but Shisui-sensei. ˝
˝Yes, sir! ˝
˝That's a good boy! ˝ He ruffled Narutos hair.

To Kagami
...
Kagami was in the Uchiha district, more precisely in the Uchiha clan library, searching for ancient books and scrolls on the sharningan, but with no luck. Nothing. Nothing was written about a four tomoe sharingan. He then remembered what Fugaku told him a couple of years ago - that some texts and scrolls that are too complex to decipher, could be read through with a specific kind of eye. He took all of the scrolls and books that he couldn't read normally or with his sharingan home.
On the way there he met the current head of the Uchiha clan - Fugaku Uchiha, who was talking to his son Itachi.
˝Fugaku! ˝
˝Ohhhhh, Kagami! I see you've returned from your trip to suna. ˝
˝Yeah. Hello to you to Itachi-kun. ˝ Kagami smiled at Itachi, who impassively nodded at the man.
˝So how was it, in Suna? And how is your family-Shisui and Maaya? ˝
˝It was boiling hot... Shisui and Maaya are doing great in fact. ˝
Fugaku smirked.
˝So, umm, Fugaku, do you have any old scrolls or books, that you can't read or decipher? ˝
˝Why the sudden interest? ˝
˝Ohhhhhh, no peculiar reason... ˝ he waved with his hand. ˝...you know how much I love Uchiha history, so I´m going to try and decipher them one more time. ˝ He sweat dropped.
´will he believe me?´
Fugaku raised a brow, but then he smiled. ˝Well you did have an obsession on Uchiha clan history when we were in the academy. I guess you still didn't get over it, hahah. Follow me.˝
´Fhuh. That was a close call I'll ask Naruto to read these if he will be able to, once we teach him about the sharingan and chakra and such stuff….´
"Acctually I have decided to adopt an orphan we met on our trip Fugaku." He knew it was a mistake to tell Fugaku about adopting a non Uchiha into the clan. He despised any prepositions like that before. And sure enough, Fugaku looked extremely angry.
"what nonsense are you saying Kagami. Just because you are married to my sister doesn´t mean you can go about doing anything you want! I will not allow this!..."
"Ummm, it was Maaya who wanted to adopt him….." Kagami interrupted his rant, and when he said that Fugaku´s anger was suddently gone. The only trump card that Kagami had was, that Fugaku is extremely scared of his sister.
"I guess it can´t be helped then. I will try to convince the elders. But do not ever do this kind of thing again. Are we clear Kagami?"
"yes yes haha I promise." Kagami sweat dropped a little, and after he received all the texts and scrolls he finally decided to go home.

Soon he arrived home, only to see his wife and two sons sleeping soundly in one bed. Maaya stirred awake, and pulled him to the bed. Now all four of them were finally a family.
The next day when they woke up they ate breakfast, and In between Shisui made goofy faces, making the family laugh. After they ate the meal Kagami spoke up.
˝Okay Naruto, today I'll go to the Hokage tower to fill in adoption papers, to officially make us a family, you´ll come with me and I´ll show you around the compound a little bit and I´ll introduce some kids your age to you, and leave you at the playground while I will be doing my errand okay? ˝
˝Hai, Father! ˝ He smiled.
˝Naruto, don't forget that once you are accustomed to life here we will be having a training session, and it will be extremely hard! I will teach you some things about what being a ninja means and what is chakra, and how to use it. Even though you are young, you do show a lot of potential. ˝

˝Right nii-san! I'll become a splendid shinobi! ˝
˝You better. ˝ Shisui ruffled Narutos hair.

Naruto and Kagami were walking around the Uchiha compound. Naruto was wearing some of Shisuis old clothes-a white sleeveless shirt and white shorts with black sandals. They could feel people staring at them and whispering.
˝Dad, why are people looking at us like that? ˝
˝It's probably because of your red hair, it's very rare. I think that only you and the Hokages wife have a hair color like this. ˝ Kagami smiled. ´we should have given him something more casual to wear he stands out so much with white clothes and red hair´ Kagami sweatdropped.
˝What's a Hokage? ˝
˝The Hokage? Well he is the leader of the village, the strongest ninja of the village, the one that is supposed to protect the village and the people within from...well, bad people. The current one is Minato Namikaze- the fourth Hokage. Maybe one day you will stand before him as a ninja of Konoha."
˝I'd like to see what the leader of this village looks like. ˝ Naruto smiled at his adoptive father.
Soon they arrived at the playground where a lot of kids were playing.
"Now Naruto be good and meet some new friends. I´ll be back soon so don´t go anywhere else okay?"
"yes father." They hugged and Naruto hurried to the playground, while Kagami blew up in a puff of smoke and reappeared at the tower.

In the Hokage tower, in the room of the Hokages secretary, at her desk.

˝Yes mister Uchiha, you must fill in these documents and then I'll need your signature. ˝
Kagami started filling in the papers. When he finished, he signed his name on the bottom of the document.
Meanwhile Minato just finished his own paperwork, and decided to go out of his office, and get some fresh air while drinking his coffee. When he walked down the corridor, he saw a tall man, dressed in an Uchiha uniform in his secretary's room filling in some papers. He already went past the room, when he heard his secretary say something that stopped him dead in his tracks and turn his blood cold.
"So your adoptive sons name is Naruto, what a peculiar name." the secretary smiled.
"Ahhh it sure is haha."
The Hokage stormed into the room, confronted the Uchiha and loudly said "How do you know that name!"
˝Is there a problem, Lord fourth? ˝ Kagami asked while he bowed to his leader, confused, as was the secretary.
˝N...No, no problem at all. ˝ Minato sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "It´s just the name is very familiar to me, I don´t know why haha. So who is this Naruto fellow if I may ask?"
˝He is my new adopted son, why do you ask? ˝
"And how does he look?"
"Hmm, well he has long blood red hair and blue eyes, much like yours lord fouth…"
Minato was shivering a little and his throat started to dry.
"…what else hmm" Kagami thought " ahh! His most defining feature is probably the whisker marks he has on his cheeks. Nobody knows from where they came from."
"No… that´s impossible" Minato stepped back a little bit, holding his head in pain, as if he has a headache. "where did you find him! May I see him for myself please I,I…"
Kagami and the secretary looked at eachother both confused. "well of course you can Hokage-sama, but please not yet. Firstly he has to adjust to the life here, then I will bring him to you if you wish so."
Minato finally realized what he was doing must´ve been seen as preety suspicious to the both of them, so he calmed himself down and said "please do so as soon as possible. I didn´t know that there were more Uzumakis beside Kushina so I think she will be thrilled and will want to meet young Naruto also. Sorry for disturbing."
Minato bowed and hurried out of the room, leaving both dumbfounded. Then Kagami looked at the secretary. "did…did the Hokage just bow to us?!" The secretary couldn´t even utter a single word.
´Wait till Kushina hears about this.´ Minato thought to himself and quickly ran to his compound.

At the same time at the Uchiha playground

A lot of children were playing and smiling and being loud, some were playing on the swings, while some were playing football and other sports. Naruto though was very shy and didn´t really know how to approach the kids. He had never really had the chance at normal life, so it was expected that he was extremely nervous. He saw two young boys about his age making a sand castle, so he decided to try there at first. He approached them slowly without making a sound. "umm, hey guys can I play with you please" he asked sheepishly. The two young boys Ren and Jyuuji looked at each other and then at Naruto. "No, because you look like a freak!" said Ren and pushed Naruto on the ground away from them. Because of years of abuse Naruto reflexively put his hands up and closed his eyes, to protect his face. He started feeling pain in his eyes again because he unknowingly started pouring chakra into them to activated his special sharingan.
"HEEYYY!" yelled somebody behind him and when the beating didn´t come he slowly opened his eyes and calmed himself to the point, where he didn´t have the sharingan active only the one under his right bang was active, but it was hidden.
He saw a young girl stand in front of him with her arms outstretched, protecting him.
"Ren, Jyuuji! What do you guys think you are doing to this kid!" she punched the both of them, while Naruto just watched her with wide eyes. She was probably the same age as him. She was wearing a black t-shirt with the Uchiha fan on the back and white shorts and some sandals on her feet. However her hair was a different color than all the other kids. On one side of the head her straight hair was jet black, while the other half of her hair was pure white. He thought that she was extremely pretty. "Awww come on Sachi we were just playing around. Why did you have to hit us?" the two boys asked the girl while holding their reddened cheeks. "hmph I saw everything don´t try to lie to me! Now scram if you don´t want to get another beating, and you….!" she turned to Naruto, while both the other boys ran away. "aren´t you a guy! Why are you letting such weanies bully you!"
Naruto was still dumbfounded and looked at the girl, confused.
"what are you looking at you idiot! Is there something on my face!"
"n..no no I just thought that you have extremely pretty hair, is all."
"o..oh," she blushed a little. "w..well thank you for that." She extended her hand to him while looking away, still a bit embarrassed. "what are you waiting for? Come on I´ll help you up."
Naruto took her hand and stood up. "my name´s Sachi, what´s yours? I´ve never seen an Uchiha like you before, or are you lost little boy and wandered to the compound accidently?"
Naruto got a tick mark on his forehead and yelled loudly "I´m not little! We are the same height and the same age! And I am an Uchiha! I was just adopted to Kagami, Shisui and Maaya!"
The young girl lauged "well seems like you do have a little mojo after all hahaha! And? Do you have a name?"
Naruto looked around and saw that every kid was now staring at them. Even the little ones.
His cheeks colored a light pink, he was extremely embarrassed. "I´m Naruto, nice to meet you"
"well Naruto do you want to make a sand castle with me?"
Naruto looked at the ground and nodded.
Sachi lightly hit him in the shoulder "say it like a man!"
"y..yes! yes! Let´s make a sandcastle ya know!"
"hahahaha maybe it´s better for you to be shy, cuz acting tough doesn´t suit you, now come on"
´ ´s with her….she is so strange… ..but she is so nice…´ Naruto ran after Sachi "wait for me!"
And so they made an extremely large sandcastle, and soon enough a lot of kids gathered around them, to help build a kingdom out of sand, even Ren and Jyuuji came back and apologized to Naruto. Safe to say he made a lot of new friends that day. He looked at Sachi and smiled. ´thank you Sachi´

They played a lot, but soon though Kagami came from his errand, and Naruto had to leave.
"bye bye everyone see you soon" he said, and everyone laughed back and smiled. "bye Naruto! I´ll come see you soon okay!"
Naruto blushed a little and smiled "okay Sachi!"

Kagami and Naruto were now walking hand in hand to their home.
"so? I see that you made some new friends, and I have signed all the legal documents and now we are officially a family Naruto"
"yes father Sachi was so nice. Thank you for everything"
"haha, no problem boy" he ruffled his sons hair.
As they were leaving home they saw a boy jump down from a building, and gracefully land in front of them. He had onyx eyes, jet-black hair that was pulled back with a red elastic in a low ponytail which extended to his shoulder blades. His bangs were parted in the centre and framed his face, extending to his chin. He was wearing a black shirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back, tan pants with bandages around his ankles and black sandals.
˝Kagami-san, Father is looking for you. ˝ He said without a hint of emotion.
˝Thank you Itachi-kun. I will go see him in a moment. ˝
Itachi turned his face to Naruto.
˝And you are? ˝
Naruto looked at his father, who nodded back.
Itachi was also one of the people who would take any secret to the grave.
˝I´m Naruto Uchiha! The adopted son of Kagami and Maaya Uchiha, and the brother of Shisui Uchiha! Nice to meet you ya know! ˝ A grin appeared on Narutos face. Any person his family trusted, he trusted.
˝Oh? Nice to meet you Naruto. I'm Itachi Uchiha, son of Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha. ˝
Itachi smiled a gentle smile at Naruto. He liked the boy's energy.
They shook hands.
˝Well, then we better be off right Naruto. Shisui is probably waiting for you. ˝
˝Yes, Father! See you later Itachi-san. ˝
They each went their own way.
Before Itachi could jump back on the roof of a building he felt a tug on his pants. When he looked down he saw Naruto pulling on his pants. Itachi looked right, and saw Kagami patiently waiting for Naruto about fifteen meters away.
˝Ummm Itachi-san, can I ask you a question? ˝
˝Yes, what is it? ˝
˝How did you turn into an older guy Sachi? Are you actually a ninja! ˝Naruto laughed.
Itachi looked at Naruto, a shocked expression on ´his´ face, which was extremly rare.
