Yer I haven't updated in ages.. sorry guys.. ill do my best to update more ^_^
"J-Juvia doesn't know how to skate Lyon-sama!" Juvia whimpered as she gingerly stepped on the ice, gripping her dates hand. Lyon smiled gently.
"Don't worry Juvia- if you fall I'll catch you." He said in a comforting voice. Juvia looked into his eyes, a smile appearing slowly on her face. Lyons eyes had a feeling of.. Protection and love, as if he wouldn't let anything in the world hurt Juvia, not even the smallest bug. Grabbing Lyons hand tightly, Juvia took a shaky step onto the ice. Soon she had both feet on the slippery surface. When Lyon tried to let go of her hand, Juvia squeezed his hand tightly.
"No, don't let go- not yet…please? Juvia isn't ready" Lyon looked down at the blushing girl as she looked down at her skates, trying to keep her balance. Lyon smiled, and with his other hand he gently placed it on Juvias head, making her look up in surprise.
"I wont let you go until your ready- I promise" Juvia smiled, squeezing Lyons hand quickly. The two mages stared into each other's eyes for a minute before breaking their shared gaze in embarrassment in separate directions. His face red, Lyon started to glide forwards on the ice. "L-lets try moving now" he stuttered Juvia gasped at the sudden movement. Panicking, she grabbed Lyons arm with both hands, trying to pull him back to her side.
"W-wait, Lyon-sama" Lyon, being pulled back suddenly slipped on the ice, pulling Juvia down with him. Squeezing his eyes shut, Lyon braced for the impact, pulling Juvia to his chest. Feeling the ice underneath him, Lyon tightened his grip on Juvia, grunting as the two landed on the ice.
"Ow.." Lyon mumbled as he opened his eyes. "J-Juvia are you ok?" Lyon scrambled to sit up as he noticed the blue haired mage laying on top of him.
"Juvia is ok. Sorry about that, are you okay Lyon-sama?" Lyon looked at the girl sitting in front of her. Breathing a sigh of relief, Lyon slowly stood up before extending his hand to help Juvia up.
"Let's try that again, shall we?" Lyon suggested. Juvia giggled, taking Lyons hand once again. Slowly the couple started making their way around the rink.
Gray glared at Lyon and Juvia from across the rink, jealousy sweeping over him. "Gray?" Lucy whined, "Can we go on the ice rink? It's so hot out here." Lucy complained as she pointed towards the outdoor skating rink.
"Sure" Gray mumbled 'why not" Lucy clapped her hands in delight before following Gray to pick up their skated from the rental shop. As his girlfriend picked up their skates, Gray narrowed his eyes at the couple on the ice. Why do I feel this way.. I don't like her.. Shes an annoying stalker that always followed me around. Gray grumbled to himself.
"Gray?" Lucy called out to the boy as she dangled his set of skates in front of his face. Snapping out of his trance, Gray smiled at his girlfriend before taking the skates from her.
"Thanks Luce" Gray guided the girl to the benches before helping her put on her skates, then quickly tying his own skates. Standing up, Gray extended his hand and together he and Lucy made their way onto the ice. "You know how to skate?" Gray asked the blonde. Lucy sheepishly smiled.
"No, not really…" She mumbled. Gray grinned.
"That's fine" he said encouragingly. Lucy held his hand tightly as the couple stepped onto the ice. "You ready?" Gray asked. Lucy nervously nodded her head. Gray then turned to face Lucy on the ice. Holding both her hands in his, Gray started skating backwards, slowly pulling Lucy with him. As the two gradually began to pick up speed Gray took his place beside Lucy, the couple smiled at each other as they continued across the rink. Grays eyes landed on the couple on the other side, his hand tightening around Lucys. Lucy followed his gaze and pouted when she noticed Gray staring at Juvia.
"Ne, Gray?" Lucy softly called out to the ice mage but he continued to watch Juvia and Lyon. Lucy opened her mouth to speak once again when she noticed Juvia slip and start to fall. Gray, upon seeing this, immediately lets go of Lucy and starts skating towards Juvia. "Woa G-gray, wait!" Lucy screamed as she lost her balance and fell. Hearing the girl scream, Gray looked behind him and felt his heart stop. Rushing back to Lucy, Gray quickly helped her to her feet.
"Lucy I'm so sorry, are you oka-" Gray apology was quickly cut off by Lucy shoving Gray away from her. "Luce?" Looking at the blonde mage, Grays blood went cold when he noticed the tears in her eyes. Reaching out for her, Lucy slapped Grays hand away once again.
"Whats wrong with you" she said sadly, "You've never looked at Juvia like that before, you've always ignored her and her constant confessions. And suddenly when Lyon asks her out shes suddenly the most important thing in the world to you. What about me? We've been dating for a while now.. Are you going to start ignoring me too?"
"Luce I'm sorry I didn't mean it" Gray pleaded. Lucy cringed.
"Take some time and think about it Gray.." With that, Lucy slowly skated to the nearest exit.
"Dammit" Gray grumbled. He'd totally messed up with Lucy. He had been wanting to date the celestial mage for the longest time and when their relationship was running its course this whole thing with Lyon and Juvia happens. Looking back to Juvia, Gray sighed with both relief and jealousy when he sees that Lyon caught Juvia by her waist before she fell. Shaking his head, Gray spins around to go find Lucy.
