They were a legend

We were inconspicuous

They were strong

We were weak

Their ideals were pure

We had none

They got along, They were happy

We got along, But we were not

They were out of reach

But we aspired to be like them

Born without any other kin, twins Ruku and Akura were bound together. Each of them were all the other had. They grew up together in the orphanage of a remote village located at the bottom of a mountain. The local people liked them, and felt treasured them in replacement of their unknown parents. But, the twins weren't happy, their lives were too simple, too dull and most of all they didn't have that feeling that they belonged.

It was when they were eight that the first tales of Fairy Tail was brought to the village by a middle-aged orange hair man. From then on, the twins had a dream to join Fairy Tail. The tales of Team Natsu were their favorite. Ruku dreamed to be as strong as him and Akura loved their ideal of if a Nakama needed help, they got it. Fairy Tail just simply wasn't a guild it was a family where you could truly belong.

But, then the members of the guild they dreamed of disappeared. Despair filled them for months afterwards, but they assumed it just wasn't meant for them. They continued their lives and gave up on joining Fairy Tail. Seven years passed, they had already grown into teens. It was another annual diamatou enbu, they were watching from the lacrima in the village during their free time. When…. The twins saw them, Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Grey, Happy and Wendy. They were as young as ever and the return of their childhood dreams got both Ruku and Akura excited. Even after maturing, they still remembered their dream and Fairy Tail. Akura was already a skilled magician capable of controlling powers from the galaxy. (Asutoraru no mahō) While Ruku was skilled at hand to hand combat, he didn't possess magic powers. It had always troubled him, but he never let it get him down.

Suddenly, just another normal afternoon turned into one of most importance to them. They wanted to fulfill their dreams once again. But not just yet, they decided to set off on their own adventure first to hone their skills and as a final goal, join Fairy Tail. With the reignition of their dreams, the twins quickly went to say farewell to the chief of the village and the fellow villagers that had been with them for almost 15 years. After the chief learned that the two children were leaving, he was sad, they were like his children, and the people of the village basically watched them grow up into mature and talented teens. But, the chief understood that he had to let them set off, but also insisted another two more days, so they could properly hold a farewell party for the twins. While the twins couldn't wait any longer, they also understood that it was tough on the chief and quickly agreed to it.

Note: Fairy Tail belongs to the awesome Hiro Mashima, and nothing belongs to me, this story is entirely fiction hence fanfiction. I hope fairy tail never ends.

Honestly, I don't know entirely where this story might go and for how long, but I've recently been really into fairy tail again after the hiatus and I wanted to write something about it, so basically this is it. And I know the first chapters been meh and it's not entirely amazing because my writing skills aren't amazing, but I hope you don't mind and reviews would be awesome 8) 3
