I'm Not Lily
I walk outside and think, I have no wizarding money for the knight bus so I head to the bus station. I need to make a quick stop in village of Little Hangleton. It takes 3 hours and I walk to were the Gaunt Shack is located.
The building half-hidden amongst the tangle of trunks. It seemed a very strange location to choose for a house, or else an odd decision to leave the trees growing nearby, blocking all light and the view of the valley below. Is walls were mossy and so many tiles had fallen off the roof that the rafters were visible in places. Nettles grew all around it, their tips reaching the windows, which were tiny and thick with grime and had a dead snake nailed to the front door of the shack . The insides became littered with a mass of filth, rusty pots and mouldy food.
I find where the ring is easy no words or anything but I supposed with a curse on the right Riddle doesn't think it will get far and without touching it I send the ring to my inventory. Than I leave and it takes me 2 hours to get to the Leaky Cauldron.
The Leaky Cauldron was nested between a Muggle bookshop and a record store. Inside the pub, it was dark and shabby, with a bar and a number of tables in the shadows of the corners. The bartender who introduced himself as Tom, opened the wall for me and I took a moment to enjoy the view.
Diagon Alley was a cobblestoned wizarding alley and shopping area. Inside the alley I can see an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other sights. I walk down the street to the wizarding bank Gringotts.
Gringotts is an imposing snow-white multistoried marble building located partway down Diagon Alley, near its intersection with Knockturn Alley, that towers over the neighbouring shops. A set of white stairs leads up to a set of burnished bronze doors. The doors are flanked by a goblin in a uniform of scarlet and gold. Engraved on these silver doors are the words:
Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure their.
This is the entrance to Gringotts, and it leads into a small entrance hall and another set of doors. Through these doors, also which is flanked with goblins, is a vast marble hall with long tall counters stretching along its length, with doors leading off to the vault passageways, with around a hundred goblins sitting at them.
I walk up to an available goblin, and say "Greetings great goblin, I am Alexis Peverell I would like an inheritance test to see if my parents left me anything before their passing." the goblin seems stunted for a moment, before saying "One moment" and walking up to another goblin. When they come back the second goblin walks up to me and tells me to fallow. He takes me to a door and tells me to wait as he walks in and closes the door, when he comes back out he tells me to go in.
Inside the office a goblin sits looking at me he says, "Greeting Ms. Peverell, my name is Snaglok I am the goblin in charge of the Peverell accounts. We were wondering when you would be showing up. Gringotts was the only contact in the wizarding world that your ancestors have been in contact with for a very long time and we are very loyal to your family. So it is very good to see you! Now before we go any further let us do an inheritance test to confirm your identity!" and with that he took 3 drops of blood and put it on a blank piece of paper and nods.
"Alright Ms. Peverell, according to your parents will you have accesses to you're trust valt in till your 15th birthday in which you will be fully emancipated, and have access to all accounts and family homes."
"Oh good I only have to spend 4 more years at that orphanage before I can leave. How much do I have in my trust valt?" I ask. "10,462 gallions" he replied. I gaped at him a moment before composing myself. "Thank you mom and dad I'll be able to get everything I need and more with that to survive! Umm okay first I would like 3,000 Gallions and 500 pounds, and if you have a money pouch with a feather light and expansion crams to it I would areseat it!"
"Absolutely sign here and here and I'll send someone to you're valt" I sign the two papers before continuing, "I also need to discuss something with you about setting up a vault to store a dangerous item, but before I get to that what do you know about Horcruxes?" By the look on his face I assume a lot and continue, "Good, now I know you wish to remain neutral in the war but, I have in my possession one of Mr. Riddle's Horcruxes." he gasps "One of? He has more than one?"
"Yes currently he has 5 currently and before I can destroy than I need to collected them all, because he will feel them being destroyed and moke more!" He gasps again when I say 5. "You destroy them you are but a child? Let us handle this matter."
"Very well but you must wait till the right time! We can work together. I will collect them than bring them here. One will be placed into one of your customers vaults in the future." he looks confused and I tell him what I know about when bellatrix gets the cup and he look at me and says "How do you known this if it has not happened yet?"
"The same way I known about the Horcruxes in the first place…" I don't elaborate and he gets the hint "When the time come I will look into it now the one you have on you know," I interrupted, "Is cursed and attached to one of my ancestors harloms. I was hoping your would known of a way to transfer the Horcrux to another item and be able to get a curse breaker to cleans it! I known it won't be free I'll pay whatever it takes."
"Very well it will take 24 hour to transfer the Horcrux and depending on the curse 5 to 7 hours." he said pulling out some paperwork, "Sign her, here, here, and here. Good now that that is taken care of put the Horcrux into this box." He summons a box and I summon the ring into it, he looks at the ring than me and closes the box. "We will mail you when it is done, do you have any more business with us Ms. Peverell?"
"No thank you!" and with that I received my knew full money puche and leave gringotts. It's now lunchtime and I head back to the Leaky Cauldron and ordered their famous steak and kidney pie.
After lunch the first thing I do is get a haircut (Looks just like the cover photo) *The barber looked at me like I was crazy, I known it won't be in style for many many years but I'd like to stand out, just a little. I noticed, I look a lot like how Lily Evans was described.* and new muggle cloths and I put the extra bags into my inventory for now, and change into one of my muggle outfits. *No more hand me downs, save those for the other children who need it!* Than I head to the Bottomless Trunk's store.
When I walk in I walk right over to the more expensive ones I notice the cashier give me a look, but I ignore him. I find a 4 compartment trunk in a style I like. It has a wardrobe, library, storige, and a special potions compartment. I turn to the men behind the counter who had nothing better to do than stare at me the whole time i've been in here. "I'd like this one in Black and Silver please also I'd like to talk about enchantments!"
"Are you sure you want that one, it's 975 gallions?" He said coming around the counter. "Yes, I know! I can read sir, now I'd like a Level 4 expansion charm on All compartments and the library I want a level 5! I need a permanent feather light cram as well as a powerful permanent muggle repel carm! Also an auto resizing carm, that I can use without my magic. What sort of protections to you offer?" He stands their stunt. I don't really need the auto resizer because of my wandless magic can't be traced *Not like the Elder wand can either but I plan on getting a second wand too* but he pissed me off thinking I can't afford something just because i'm in muggle clothes! *That will teach him not to judge someone just by their looks!* When he snaps out of his daze he gets professional, "Well there are 10 levels of protection! Level 1 is a simple password protection, Level 3 is what most hogwarts students get, level 5 can keep your professors out except the headmaster he is one of the most powerful wizards after all, and level 10 will give most Aurors trubble." He picks up the suitcase and starts heading to the table behind the counter.
"Hmm I'll take a level 10. I plan on carrying my whole life in it four at least four or five years." He looks mildly stunt again but it passes quicker, "Take a look at our shoulder bag collection and pick one out it come free with such a big perches and you can add an expansion and feather light charms to it for half the normal price! Trust me you will need it for Hogwarts!" After that he gets to work on my order. *Now that's more like it!* I turn to the rack he mentioned smiling and grabe one I like and toss it on the counter. "
Go ahead and put both charms on this, is there any way to put my family crest on it?" He nods "Sure free of charge, I just need you to draw it out for me, there is some paper on the counter I'll be just a few more minutes" I find the paper and draw out the Deathly Hallows symbol and wait. When he's done he comes over and grabs the bag first than the paper and he looks at it and stops moving. I know he's thinking about Grimwald so I say, "It has nothing to do with that filth, he stole the symbol from our family and tarnished it's image but I plan to bring it back into the light!"
He doesn't move for a few moments than nods and goes back to work. When he is done he puts the bag in the storage compartment and brings it over and puts it on the table "Okay that will be 1,548 gallions" I pay him and he shows me how to work it and keys my magic to it so I am the only one who can get into it.
After that I get all my supplies spending about 300 more gallions because I may have gotten more books that were not on the list as well as some potions ingredients and supplies. I also got red, blue, green, and purple ink, and two wand holsters that have protection spells on them. I also splurged and got a full blooded Kneazle, food, and treats for him. His fur is all black an he has green eyes like me.
"You're name will be Kashi" He pers his approval, from inside his carrying case I made sure the cashier adds muggle repel charms on it.
By the time I'm done with all my shopping it's 4:30 pm.*Time to get yelled at.* so I walk out the Leaky Cauldron and call the knight bus, and a triple-decker, purple AEC Regent III RT apres. I pay stan and tell him where I'm heading, and inside the Knight Bus has beds, curtained windows and candles burning in brackets beside each bed.
It took 15 minutes to get to the orphanage and with everything inside of my trunk all organised, clothes in the wardrobe, books in the library, and so on. I walk in side pulling my suitcase and go to Ms. Kennel office and as soon as I enter I get an ear full and I explain about getting in to a boarding school my mother hard set up before my birth. She doesn't believe me of course. But I just told her that a professor will arrive in a day or so to explain it to her. And she humps and sends me to bed.
I let Kashi out to explore an cast a wandless, wordless *Disillusionment* on him "Don't get coute" an I head to sleep.
The next day Ms. Kennel put me in the detention room. The detention room is a room with one small window with bars on it, there is also only a schoolhouse desk and a chare, and a blackboard with the words 'I shall not leave the orphanage on my own again.' on it. She told me to wright tell the 3 pages are full and she'd be back for lunch.
I finished the last page 4 hours ago… I know it's past lunch because I smelt it and 2 hours ago, the kitchen isn't far from here. I luckly put some books into my inventory to read just in case something like this happened today. Ms. Kennel always forgets about me…
I hear two sets of footsteps an put my book away. When the door open Ms. Kennel comes in first than a tall woman with, black-haired combed back into a tight bun, she had a very stern face, rather severe-looking woman, and wore square spectacles. She was in a 70's woman style suite that just looked odd on her somehow, like she was super uncomfortable.
"Ms. Peverell this is Professor McGonagall." Than she looked at Professor McGonagall, "She disappeared all day yesterday, she's a bit of a troubled child!" *Did she really just say that! Does she tell everyone that? No wonder no one has adopted me!* I frown. "Yes well I'd like a word with her in private please." Ms. Kennel nods and leaves closing the door. Than Professor McGonagall puts up a silacing ward an summons herself a chair sitting and crosses her legs.
"Hello Professor, I'm Alexis Peverell. Thank you for coming to explain thing to Ms Kennel, for me. She would not believe me last night after I got home from shopping for school supplies, which I knew would happen so I didn't tell her I was leaving. She would have just locked me in here for lieing or something." I say with a sad smile. "So you got everything you needed?" she asked, "Yes ma'am, everything but my ticket!"
She pulls out my ticket and hands it to me, and I take it. "Thank you" I say, "What does Ms. Kennel known?" she switched her crossed legs around, an said "Well sense you seem to have hard no accidental magic and we prefer the muggles know nothing of our world if we can help it so I told her that you're parents signed you up before you were born, and payed for your tuition already, as well as left you some money to pay for your supplies."
"Ok good that's what I told her to not that she listened she claimed I stole money from someone, when I came home with a new haircut and clothes. Than man at the trunks store put a muggle repel charm on my trunk for me so I don't have to worry about the other kids digging through it or Ms. Kennel taking it away!" an she nods "All right than do you have any more questions for me?" She asks and I shake my head no, and she nods again an takes the words down.
"I'll walk you out, She was supposed to come get me at lunch but it must have slipped her mind, I should be able to make it to super at least. One meal is better than none, I've learned!" her step faltered but we keep walking out to Ms. Kennels office with is by the front door. Ms. Kennel comes out, "Have a good night Professor McGonagall, Ms. Peverell head straight to bed, I don't want any more trouble from you tonight!" Professor McGonagall stops with her hand on the door "Don't you think the child should eat first?" Ms. Kennel looks shocked, "Oh yes of course, but after straight to bed Ms. Peverell!"
"Yes ma'am" I said an turn to Professor McGonagall "Thank you ma'am for everything." and smile. She nods and leaves. After that I eat supper and go to bed like told.
Over the next couple months I study all my books in and out of the detention room for things I didn't do. I got all sorts of books like Wizard Culture, Pureblood Culture, Master of Potions, as well as a bunch of other potion books, and a bunch of higher level spell books. I learned this spells:
Lumos - To light up dark places at the flick of a wand
Nox - To extinguish wandlight after the use of Lumos
Alohomora - To open a locked door, window or object
Reparo - The spell will immediately fix the breakage, leaving no trace it was ever broken
Wingardium Leviosa - Makes things levitate
Episkey - Heals relatively minor injuries such as broken noses and split lips
Brackium Emendo - Is the incantation of a healing spell that can be used to mend broken bones
Accio - Summons want you call for
Geminio - Is a spell used to duplicate an object, creating an exact replica of the target entity. It can also be used to bewitch an object into multiplying repeatedly when touched.
Evanesco - To vanish both animate and inanimate objects into non-being
Repello Muggletum - to repel muggles from a place or item
Mimble Wimble- A person gets tongue tied when they try talk talk about something they are not supposed to
Disillusionment - a spell that is used to conceal a target. The charm makes that which has been bewitched to act as a chameleon, taking the colour and texture of that which is behind and around them
Homorphus - untransfiguration charm that was used in Wagga Wagga Werewolf to transformed werewolf back into their human from, but that hole book is ridiculous! So I doubt it would work like that, but it works on an animagus!
Appare Vestigium - This spell is used to reveal footprints and track marks.
Stupefy - To stun an opponent, rendering them unconscious
Calvario - A curse that removes the victim's hair or headdress
Furnunculus - makes a person to break out in boils
Levicorpus - To immobilise by suspends them in the air by the ankle
Aguamenti - To conjure water, which can be used to quench thirst or battle a fire
Incendio - To create fire for heat, light or to activate the Floo Network. Can also be used for destructive purposes.
Protego - Protects the caster with an invisible shield
Expelliarmus - To remove an object (often a wand) from the recipient's hand
Expulso - A curse used to produce immense explosions, blasting the target apart with a burst of blue light; it has enough force to throw people into walls.
Diffindo - The spell will slash or cut someone or something
Expecto Patronum - Shields against and can overpower the foul effects of Dementors - Corporeal Patronus = Unknown
Homenum revelio - To reveal the presence of other humans, Gives a sensation of something swooping low over them.
Protego totalum - To shield an area and protect the people in it
Obliviate - The recipient will lose a portion (or all) of their memory, depending on how strong the spell is. When used with Legilimens can modify the memory
Legilimens - To see inside another witch or wizard's mind and makes their thoughts and memories visible to the caster
When the day to leave finally came I took the bus to Kings Cross station, and as I walk thru the barrier I see a a large red, 4-6-0 steam engine, The Hogwarts Express. The place was also filled with students and their parents.
Inside the passenger carriages it hold compartments set off a corridor, allowing each compartment to function as a self-contained stage within the larger train, and seem to has a extension charm because they are bigger on the inside. I found a compartment that only had two people in it. A beautiful girl, she had thick dark red hair that fell to her shoulders and bright green almond-shaped eyes extremely distinctive, and darker than mine, *We look a bit alike… must be Lily Evans, than with her must be Severus Snape* an the boy with her had sallow pale skin, he was stringy but round-shouldered yet angular and tall, he had long shoulder-length oily hair around his face that had a large hooked nose and yellow uneven teeth, and eyes that resembled tunnels, curious I use Legilimens on him ~Wow she looks a lot like lily… Bet she will hate me and get in the way of me and lily's friendship!~ I blink *So insecure...* and look back to lily.
"May I join you both?" Looking back at severus. "Sure have a seat" She pats the seat next to her, I decide to sit next to Severus "Thanks! I'm Alexis Peverell." I smile at both of them, Severus frowns and Lly smiles back "I'm Lily Evans, an this is Severus Snape!" he just nods when I look at him an I giggle, "You're not much of a talker huh?" he just frowns probably thinking i'm making fun of him. I just smile at him, *He's kind of cute when he pouts*
The train starts to move, and I ask if they know each other before the train and Lily tells me all about how they meet and there town. She tells me all about her muggle family and Severus watches me and I keep smiling an asking questions. Severus just give me veg answers, mother is a pureblood, father is a muggle bastard… his words. Lily asks me about my family "Mom and dad where both purebloods, dad died before I was born, and my mom died just after my birth in a muggle hospital, so I was sent to a muggle orphanage. They hate me because they can sense that I'm different, and I get blamed for everything… But I just try to survive till my 15th birthday, than I will be emancipated."
They are kinda shocked because I speed thru that, and I just smile. Just than the door opens and two boys stumble in laughing and close the door. One boy had fair skin, medium length lustrous black hair, striking grey eyes, and an air of casual elegance and aristocratic beauty. The other boy tallish and thin, with hazel eyes and untidy black hair that stuck up at the back, he had an indefinable air of having been well cared for and even adored.
"Hello, can we help you?" I ask. They look at eachother and laugh again. "Sorry we are just hiding from someone, hello I'm Sirius Black!" he gives me a charming smile *Thought so* I smile kindly, "Alexis Peverell" *Than the other is James.* "I'm James Potter!" He said with a smile towards Lily, an Severus glars. *And it begins* "I'm Lily Evans, an this is my friend Severus Snape!" They both take their seat next to Lily with James right next to her, an Severus frowns again or more like still but with more frown added to it?
"So what house does everyone think they will be in? I'll be in Gryffindor myself my whole family has been!" James says, "I don't know they all seem interesting! Severus wants to be in Slytherin, he mother was in Slytherin!" Sirius looks upset, "Everyone in Slytherin is evil, trust me I known my whole family has been in that house! But I'll be different!" Now severus looks mad an before he can go off I say, "Their is nothing wrong with Slytherin! Just because a lot of bad eggs came out of that house does not mean all the house is evil! Evil people can be in any house, honestly it's just childish to hate one house like that!"
"Well the house is full of pureblooded prejudice!" Sirius says back, "Yes an other houses have their own prejudices to, even you sound prejudice!" He doesn't have time to reply because James and Lily change the subject. Severus just stares at me in thought and makes a comment here and there.
