Balto
After Balto and Jenna had some "fun" Balto woke up next to Jenna in his boat. He looked around he heard footsteps on the next level up, Jenna was still asleep and had her head on Baltos shoulders, so Balto waited for the steps to come to him. He was ready to attack if needed, but he doubted it was a threat. Boris peaked his head in, Balto seeing this put his guard back down, he gave Boris a sly smile, Boris just looked at him with embarrassment and left. Balto looked at Jenna sleep, 'She is so innocent when she sleeps' he thought as he looked at her. She stirred and slowly opened her eyes "Good morning love" Balto said carringly. She smiled "Morning" She said moving her head off of Balto. They both got up and stretched. Jenna walked close to Balto out of the ship "I should head back to the hospital, see how Rosie is doing" Jenna said turning toward the town "Yeah that sounds like a good plan. I will walk you over"
After Balto walked Jenna over to the hospital and she went in he left back to his boat. He had Steele on his mind for some reason. Even through the constant torture he put Balto through a banishment from the town seemed a little excessive. Balto still felt like crap from his fight with Steele and his fall down a cliff. So he decided it would be best to rest before he went out on a search. He still disliked Steele quite a bit, but wouldn't let him just die out there. He went to his boat to sleep.
Steele
He wasn't late to the meeting but the other wolves didn't really trust him yet. Steele knew he had to prove himself. His trial would come with fire. All the males of the pack where at the meeting there was around 6 males and Echo "Your are my highest ranks in my pack, aside for you dog, introduce yourself" Echo said looking toward Steele. Steele looked around "I'm Steele I'm from Nome and I used to be a sled dog" the wolves looked amongst each other "Well that explains the build, but that is beside the point, I've gathered you here today because the dens to our north and west have made an alliance and I fear the worst" He said with slight worry but none of the Beta's looked fazed "We need to ally ourselves with the faction to our southwest, southeast, and to the east" He made clear starting to eye out who he wanted and where "Bravo and Charlie I want you to go to the den to our east. Yankee and Tango I want you to stay here and start training the younglings. Quebec and Kilo go to the southeast, Steele and I will got to the southwest" He demanded as they dispersed in there teams. Steele was kinda on edge to go to to a different den with a wolf he just met "Calm yourself, this will be a simple yes or no question we are at peace with them. We have been like this for genera-" He was cut off by a female wolf running toward them. She was bleeding profusely and ran with a limp "oh shit" Echo said running over to her "what happened?" Steele questioned her "the north surprise invaded us….and any resistance was crushed….there chasing me….please I'm pregnant" Steele and Echo looked at each other and looked down the path when they saw to males coming toward them "We need to move, now" Echo said moving back to friendly borders "come on help her move I'll cover you" Steele said. Echo looked at him strangely but did it anyway because he had that in mind Echo and the refugee snuck through the lines.
Steele stayed back and held the trail. The two wolves attacked simultaneously. Steele dodged the first one and took the second to the ground, he stomped on his throat. This made the wolf gag and gave Steele time to deal with the other who was already mid lunge. Steele didn't have time to dodge him. He was pinned down and was at the mercy of the wolf, just before his demise, the weight was lifted and he quickly jumped up to see Yankee and Tango finishing the two wolves who attacked "We need to get out of here before any more see us" Yankee yelled at Steele as they started back to Echo's territory. The Southwest lost to the combined North and West invasion. The other dens, seeing this North and West aggression, joined the alliance. The only den left was the Northeast. They where a smaller den only one family of wolves and a small family of foxes. No one dared invading them, they were invaded by a force 4 times the size and fought them off. When Steele and the others got back to the dens Steele learned they took more refugees. Echo was standing talking to the others and Steele walked over "What's the verdict Echo? Did any others join?" Steele said in a panic "Calm down, we have the surrounding dens in an alliance we are just waiting for the Northeast to join or stay neutral" Echo reinforced with "We are going to the borders to set up defences. Choke Points, traps and dead ends. Hope you don't like sleep" He said with a sarcastic grin. Steele looked at him and smiled "Why would I like that?" he sarcastically said back. Echo turned and went to his den with his mate "Steele!" Steele turned to see Zulu trotting up to him "So I hear you helped with the evacuation?" she said running up beside him "One botched evacuation I'll tell you that" Steele said sarcastically. Zulu giggled "Yah most of the refugees had minor lacerations" She said looking back at the medic den "Are they going to be ok?" Steele questioned "The pregnant one was pretty bad and lost a lot of blood but she should be ok for the time being" She said moving closer to Steele. Steele noticed this but ignored it "I'm going to head back to my den, goodnight Zulu" he said before turning and walking to his den "Goodnight Steele" She said as he walked away.
