Chapter 2: A New Adventure Begins

-With Miki-

It was the end of a typical school day as Miki was walking home. Though it seemed like a typical day, it didn't feel like a one for Miki. She felt like her normal self, but she couldn't shake this feeling that something big was about happen, but she didn't know what.

As she was walking and thinking to herself, she was snapped back into reality by the sound of a little cry for help and looked to find a Siberian husky puppy lying in the middle of the road, unable to stand. And not only that, there was a car zooming towards it, but the driver was too distracted on his phone to notice.

"Look out!"

Miki didn't hesitate. She ran out as fast as she could towards the speeding car, jumped out, grabbed the puppy and skid across the street right before the car could speed over the exact spot where the puppy laid. As the car continued on, Miki slowly got up and checked the puppy for any sign of injury.

She noticed the puppy looked really weak. "Hey there, are you okay?" It looked at her arm and let out a tiny bark, one that sounded painful. She looked at her arm and noticed she got a little bruise on her upper right arm right before her sleeve.

She smiles at the husky. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. It doesn't really hurt much."

Miki held the small puppy close, "Come on, I'll take you to Dr. Ana." The two began to make their way to the vet's when-

"Hello, Wild Child."

Miki slowly turned her head to see two girls her age. One had long blonde hair and violet eyes, Cindy and the other had long brown hair and blue eyes, Mindy.

"Hello Cindy, Hello Mindy" Miki said quietly and sarcastically. She tried to turn and leave but Cindy jumped in front of her. "What are you doing Freak?" She noticed the puppy. "Oh, found another one of your servants?"

Mindy laughed. "Yeah, found another one?"

Miki didn't say anything. She only shook her head.

"What's wrong, cat got your tongue", Mindy asked, smirking.

"You mean dog got your tongue", Cindy corrected her while pointing to the dog. It painfully barked again.

"Quit messing with Tundra", Miki quietly said.

"How cute. It even has a name", Cindy said. "Well, we should go. We actually have better things to do than mess with dirty animals."

"Good-bye, Wild Child."

Laughter could be heard as the two walked away. Miki, looking down at the ground mumbled, "If I had to choose in a life or death situation I'd rather be related to this 'dirty animal' than to either one of you. Tundra barked and brought Miki back to Earth.

"I'm sorry. You're right. Let's go."

She shook her head and quickly made her way to Dr. Ana.

-In the Veterinarian's Office with Dr. Ana-

It has been about 5 minutes since Tundra was taken to the back, and already Miki was growing impatient. She walked back and forth across the waiting room, unable to sit still. Then a young looking woman with shoulder length dark hair and green eyes entered the room from the back. She was wearing a white lab-looking coat. Miki shot up from her seat.

"Is he gonna be okay." Miki asked worriedly.

The woman smiled. "He'll be fine. It seems to me that he hasn't had anything to eat in a long time and that was probably why he was as weak as he was."

"I'm glad he's okay", Miki sighed.

"I'm glad too-" Dr. Ana was interrupted by the sound of barking. Tundra ran into the room and tackled Miki, causing her to fall.

"Hey Tundra", Miki smiled as the husky kept licking her face in joy. She pushed him off as she stood back up and he sat in front of her, happily wagging his tail.

"Bark, bark."

"You're welcome", Miki patted his head and looked at the time.

"Uh oh, it's almost 4:00. I should get going."

She turned towards Dr. Ana and bowed, "Thank you for helping Tundra."

"It was no trouble, really. I was happy to help. Though I think I'll keep Tundra here for a little while longer to make sure he's eating okay."

"That's a good idea. Thank you, good-bye, Dr. Ana. Bye puppy," Miki called as she left the building.

"Good-bye, Miki," Dr. Ana waved and Tundra barked.

When Miki was gone, Dr. Ana heard someone say, "She is the one. She understood me, and even knew my name whether she realized it or not."

Dr. Ana looked down towards Tundra," Yes, I believe she is."

The husky spoke again, "Should we tell her?"

"We should wait for the right time. I believe she will find out soon enough."

And with that she closed the office within minutes and the dog and doctor walked towards the back of the building to a door hidden within the wall. The veterinarian's clothes changed to those of a witch, and the dog remained the same, and they simply walked through the door closing it behind them and 'disappearing through the wall'.

-Later With Miki-

"Hi mom, I'm home," Miki called out as she entered her home.

"Hello, Mira. How was your day at school?"

"It was fine," Miki smiled at her brown haired mother with orange eyes. She was wearing a black dress suit with a white blouse underneath her coat. She was also wearing a pair of simple black heels and small silver loop earrings.

"Ok, well I have a business meeting to attend to, so I probably won't be back until around 8:00 and dad is working late today. He said he'll be home at 8:00 as well," Miki's mom explained as she grabbed her keys.

Miki nodded, "Ok mom. I'll be alright here. I'll just be upstairs in my room finishing my homework."

"Well ok sweetie. Be good and I will see you later." Miki's mom kissed her on the forehead and walked out of the house to her car.

"Bye mom. See you later." Miki waved.

And with that, her mother drove off to her meeting, and Miki headed to her room to finish her homework…

-At the Symphonys Cafe-

"Thank you, please come again," Pop bowed as the customers left with their purchase. Suddenly two fairies, a yellow one and an orange one flew up to Pop.

"Where's Madam Sara," Sasa asked.

"Yeah Olivia too," Vivi added.

Pop assured the yellow and orange fairies, "Don't worry about it. They're both on their way over."

Sasa and Vivi flew away as Mika entered the room, "I've come to help out here. I'm done in the kitchen and the others are just talking."

Pop stopped what she was doing and suddenly had a worried look on her face. "Something's not right," she said to Mika.

"What do you mean?"

"Sara and Olivia would've been here by now," Pop answered.

"You're right," Mika agreed. Suddenly a golden glow appeared in the middle of the room. Mika was the first to notice it.

"There's a ball of light over there," she told Pop. Pop looked over and saw it. Then she immediately called the others into the room.

"Everyone, come here!"

The witches and fairies entered the room.

"What's up," Natasha asked as she turned to see the light.

"It's a magic ball of light," Mika answered plainly.

"We see that now," Sika said.

"Pretty light," the twins said in unison.

"Yeah it is pretty," Pop agreed, "But what's it doing here"…

-With Miki-

Miki had just finished her homework and put her things back in her bag. The whole time she was doing her homework, she couldn't stop thinking about her last dream, 'You must find the eight chosen ones' She just couldn't shake it out of her mind.

"I wish I knew more about this."

As if right on cue a golden ball of light appeared in the center of her room. She looked and saw.

"What's going on," Miki asked herself.

-With the Symphonys-

"Ok, what's going on here," Natasha asked.

Sika looked at Mika, "Do you sense anything, Kaku-chan?"

Mika answered, "I feel…a strong…amount of magic."

The fairies simply sat there staring at it.

"Well whatever it is, let's get a good look at it," Pop walked up to it only to back away quickly for the light started to flicker.

"What's happening," the Yuka asked.

"It blinked nine times," Yuki pointed out. "What does that mean?"

The light faded away and a tablet fell to the floor in place of the light ball. Pop picked it up.

"Huh. What's this"...

-With Miki-

"Could this have to do with my dream," Miki asked herself. She walked towards the ball but backed away for it started blinking as well. When it stopped, Miki thought,' Ok. It flickered nine times, so what's that supposed to mean?

Suddenly the light faded and a tablet was formed. It then fell to the floor from where the light was before. Miki went over to it and picked it up.

"What is this"…
