"I'm usually free for all of Saturday, so that's perfect! As far as Thursday goes, you can help me out with any operations I have to do."
"Tomoe, just because I used to be a surgeon, doesn't mean I know how to use an endoscope! Honestly..."
"Then I'll teach you how to use an endoscope, Doctor Cunningham!"
"Please, tell me you're not serious, Tomoe."
"Are you taking Lady Tomoe on a date?" Hanzou, Tomoe's butler, asked.
"Ah?! Hanzou! We are doing no such thing!"
"Yeah. We're going out to dinner, but we're doing it as friends. Besides, teaching someone how to use an endoscope is not romantic in the least," Gabriel commented. Tomoe quickly pulled out a scalpel from her pocket, and held it at Gabe's throat.
"What was that for?!" Gabriel yelled, throwing his hands up.
"Making fun of something a friend of yours likes is not the way of honor. Endoscopy is a precious and precise art one must learn to appreciate." Tomoe put her scalpel away. "That's all, Doctor Cunningham." Tomoe smiled after she had spoken. "I'll see you Thursday evening."
As Tomoe and her butler disappeared, Gabriel wondered what he had gotten himself into.
