Ok so this is my first chapter. Sorry it's so short. The ones to follow will be longer. I'm just kind of experimenting. This is sort of a second introduction. The action will pick up I promise.
Obi-Wan sat meditating in the room of a thousand fountains. He had known Siri since before they were padawans. Though two years younger than Obi-Wan, she had fought in his lightsaber class. She had followed rules to the letter and held great distain for him because he occasionally broke them. As they grew, she became more reckless. She cut her flowing golden hair short and traded her fine Jedi tunic for rough traveling clothes in order to infiltrate a harsh slaver-pirate's organization.
Over the years they had grown to be very close friends. They shared everything. But now, now she had shocked him beyond belief. Siri had always been opinionated and strong-willed, but never had she questioned the Council, and most certainly never defied it.
Meanwhile, Siri stomped fumingly through the streets of Coruscant. No one listened to her, not her stiff padawan Feris with his rigid, austere interpretation of the code, not the Council with all their wisdom, not even Obi-Wan, the one who had actually had to face and kill a Sith. By the force, he had watched his master murdered by that red-faced, horned, alien beast who called himself a Sith.
No one took the Sith as a serious threat. No one remembered the days when the Sith held the galaxy in a reign of terror for thousands of years. No one, no one, no one, Siri pouted as she trudged along. A tear ran down her cheek. She couldn't remember a time when she felt so alone, not to mention cried.
"Get yourself together Siri," she commanded. "If no one is going to help me, then I'll do it myself. I will prevail against the efforts of the Sith where all others fail."
