Alex's POV

I jumped over the flames in the doorway and ran into the smoke filled apartment. Small flames sputtered on the floor, slowly roaring to life. I could her a child crying in the corner of the room. I moved over to the boy, he sat curled up in the corner of the room. He looked terrified; I felt a quick spark of protection I had to sav…help I have to help this kid, I don't save people I just help them I tell my self over and over again. "Hi" he sniffled "Hi" he said back "What's your name?" I asked, "Max" he sniffled again "Hey, do you want to see your mommy?" he nodded "Than you have to do everything I say" a spark flew near hear hand he started to cry. "Hey, hey think of it as a game, do you like games?" he nodded again "Then lets play a game, first rule when I pick you up you have to hang on okay, don't let go unless I tell you, alright" "okay". I picked him up and moved back to the front door I jumped over the flames and shot out into the hallway the fire was larger here. I ran as fast as I could through the apartment building, which was, empty everyone was out already, don't know how the firemen missed this kid. Finally I made it to the stairs and sprinted down. The back door was stuck, 'this better work' I thought 'you know it better work', 'shut up Wally just because your stuck in my head doesn't me you have to comment on everything!' I kicked hard at the door it slammed open, I took a deep breath and set the kid down. "Your mommy is just around the corner" he said thank you, gave me a quick hug and ran off. I watched as his mother cried with joy, reporters dashed over to him, they were probably going to ask him how he got out, it was the perfect time for me to leave.

I walked down the street and turned into an alley. 'Dang it' it was a dead end, I turned around only to find my way blocked by three boys Robin, Beast Boy, and the Blue Beatle. Robin spoke first "Alex, I'm guessing" I said nothing "We need you to come with us", "Not happening" they looked surprised. "We just want to talk, but if we have to we will take you by force, so what will it be the easy way or the hard way". I grinned "Hard way" I got ready to fight. Beast boy was the first to attack he ran at me changing into a lion I side stepped him and gave a swift upper cut to his side, he twisted and lunged at me again but this time I grabbed him from his side and threw him into a wall he groaned in pain. Blue Beetle came next he blasted his sonic cannon at me I dodged the blast, this was taking to long. I launched into the air and he tried to duck but I grabbed him he hit the ground first I punched him in the face rendering him unconscious. Robin was the only one left; I ran at him and flipped over him. He spun around turning right into a jab, he staggered back but he quickly recovered, I twisted around and gave him a back kick to his chest he fell to the ground. I turned to run. The tiny dart embedded itself in my neck. I glared at Robin then the world around me went black.

'Well this is nice isn't it Wally mentally says 'Wally like I said before, SHUT UP!' I yell 'sorry, I'm just mad', 'it's fine but I need to tell you some thing, WAKE UP!'

My Eyes flutter open, and with out Wally mentally telling I know where I am. I had never thought I would see the inside of Mount Justice, but here I am and now I have to escape. Making sure I was alone in the room I walked over to a vent, small, but I could easily fit.

I crawled through the cramped air duct 'I've got to find a way out'. I made my way to a place where Wally told me that it was the mission room. I crawled a little further; suddenly a fist smashed through the flimsy metal, it grabbed me and pulled me down. I landed hard on my back and a sharp pain erupted in my side, thanks childhood injury, I bit my tongue stifling a cry. "Ow…that… really hurt" I saw Superboy looking down at me and behind him a few feet away was Lagoon boy, I wasted no time and quickly swept Superboy's feet out from under him. I jumped strait up and ran at Lagoon boy I jumped to the side and kept on running towards a door that opened just a minute ago. I smiled, as I got nearer to exit. I was so close when another tranquillizer dart embedded itself in my neck "Not…again…" I fell to the floor unconscious.
