EARNING MY KEEP

AN: Hello everybody! As you know this is the real first chapter of "Earning my Keep." and Also starting today Sunday and Sarturday are my main update days. Sorry It took me so long, My muses for this story packed up and left because of my TNA muses but I got them back so let start!

CHAPTER #1: Not just another Cinderella story! (Jarley's POV)

"Jarley! Wash the dishes, Clear the floor, and feed Bud, Lou, Princess, and Wolfly!" Harely Qinn yelled at me. I ran into the kitchen. I started to wash the dishes.

"You have fun! I'm going shoping!" Harley stated before stepping out the door. I growled. "Jarley, Have my dinner ready when I come home!"

Harley skiped out outside and jumped in her car. I heard her drive off and I growled. I hated that woman. I will always hate Harley Qinn. No matter what Daddy says I'll always hate her.

"Lying Bitch." I growled. I had washed the last dish and I went outside. I had to feed Daddy's and my pets. I walked up to Bud's pen first.

"Hey Buddy! You ready for lunch?" I questioned the hyena. Bud laughed and I nodded. I threw a stake into the pen. I watched the Hyena that had red fur with black spots and he dived right for the meat.

I moved on to Lou's pen. I looked at lou and then back to Bud. Bud and Lou looked just the same. They had red fur and A black spot over their left eye. But There was one thing they help you tell them apart, Bud has a black right front paw and Lou has a black left front paw and right hind paw. The two reminded me of my friend Eddie and that hero, Henry Dent.

"Here's Lunch Louey!" I said as I threw the steak into the pen. I walked on to Precious' pen.

"Lunch time, sweetie." I cooed as I looked down at the grey wolf puppy. I gave her a smaller steak. I moved to the last pen.

"Hey Princess." I smiled at the small red and white fox named Princess. I threw her the last steak I had in my hands. I patted everyone of them on the head and left.

I went back inside the house to see my three best friends. Kitty was sitting on the counter. Venus was sitting on the floor. Eddie was leaning on the wall.

"S'up y'all!" I said. They all smiled at me.

"So are you ready? I mean are you still gonna leave?" Eddie asked. I nodded and opened the fridge. I grabbed a peice of bread, cheese and mayo. I slapped the mayo and cheese on the bread and threw it onto a plate on the table. I grabed some paper and a pen off the counter and wrote something on the paper. When I was done I slapped it done next to the ugly sandwich.

"I am. But I don't have a weapon. I can't just go into the crime world without one." I stated. Kitty smiled at me. And went outside.

"I'm not too sure about that." Eddie said. Kitty came back into the house with a box that was taller than me.

Kitty handed me the box. I opened it and smiled. It was a spiked hummer. The spikes were pink and rest of it was Black. I hugged all three of them and thanked them.

"We had it made just from you." Venus stated. Kitty nodded in agreement while Eddie shook his head. "Okay we stole it just for you. Happy now Eddie?"

"Very!" Eddie repiled with a smile on his face. Kitty, Venus and I just rolled our eye at our friend.

"Okay I'll get all I need." I said. I went up to my room and grabed my suitcase, that I hid under my bed the day before, and went back down to the kitchen. I handed the handed the suitcase to Eddie and ran back out to the pens.

"Hey Guys. I'm outta here! But I'm taking my pets with me." I spoke as I grabed Princess and Precious. On my way out I patted Lou and Bud and their head. I ran back to the house on poked my head through the door, that I left open.

"Let go before the she-demon gets back." Venus told us. I nodded as the other three made their way out of the house. We walked down to the side walk.

"What now?" I questioned. Eddie turned me slight and pointed to a black and silver Jeep Libery that was sitting on the street only a foot away from us. I smiled before I spoke. "I get to drive."

-Five Hours Later/Harley's Pov-

My goons drove up to the house that me, my pudding, and the brat share. I smiled as I looked at my fingers, which was covered in golden rings. Then I looked over at the other stolen things in my car.

"What a nice day!" I stated as my head goon, Brocko, parked the car in the front yard. I smiled when my other goon, Rocko, opened the door for me and helped me out. The boys went and grabed my stuff as I made my way to the front door. I looked at the silver door and saw it was open. "Just like that brat to leave the damned door wide open!"

I growled as I walled up the stepped and into the house. I looked around for the young 17 year old but I couldn't find her anywhere. I then shrugged it off and looked for my dinner I told her to make for me. As I looked, My eyes wondered down to the brown table and saw a sandwich that looked to be thrown on the plate. Then I looked to the left of the food and saw a small note. I picked the note up.

"A ugly sandwich for an ugly witch!" I read the note out loud. I growled loudly and stomped up to the girl's room. I threw the door open and looked around for her.

I couldn't find the brat so I stomped back down to the kitchen and back out side to the pens where I keep the animals. I walked in and looked around the whole pen but I didn't see her anywhere. But I did see that the Fox and Wolf are gone. But to where? I then took another look at the note, which I balled up in my hand. I read it again the flipped it over.

"Ps. I'm gone! And if you looked for me around the house before reading the whole note, you are dumber that I thought you were! Love Jarley." I just blinked and read the whole note over and over. After three or four minutes, It hit me. "JARLEY!"

-(In some hotel miles away from Gotham City) Joker's POV-

I sat in a purple sofa that was next to window with a perfect view of a lake and the sunset. I tapped my fingers on the arm of the sofa and sighed. I looked over to the phone, which was on the other side of the room. I heard the front door open and the close. I sighed again and bit my lip.

"Hey Jack*! What's up?" The wet haired Bruce Wayne called as he walked in the room where I was sitting. I looked up at him and he frown down at me. "You haven't called yet have you?"

"Yes...But..." I started as I looked back over to the phone. I sighed and saw my lover was once again right. I picked myself off the sofa and walked over to the phone. I pick it up and dialed the number I know so well. and waited

"Hello?" Harley Quinn answered

"Hey Pumpkin' Pie! Can I speak to my baby girl?" I asked with all the kindness I could.

"Mr.J, You are talkin' to her." Harley joked. She sounded as if she was hiding something from me.

"Jarley. I want to speak to Jarley." I replied with a bit of force in my voice but i still remained partly calm and cool.

"Well...About that..." Jarley started but she cut her self off.

"She is not a thing, Harley. And what is wrong? What are you hiding?" I questioned the woman on the other side of the line.

"Well...JarleyRanAwayFromHome!" Harley shouted. She pretty much spit everything out as if it were one word.

"Slowly, Harley. Now try again." I tried to reason with the woman. I heard Harley take a deep breath and then she spoke.

"Jarley ran away, Mr.J" Harley confessed. I bit my lip and nodded.

"Harley, I'll be back home soon okay. We'll handle this when I get there." I stated as I hung up the phone before Harley could reply. I turned to Bruce.

"Jack? What's wrong?" Bruce questioned me. I shook my head and walked past him into the hallway.

"Pack your stuff! We gotta go back!" I yelled from the hallway. Bruce walked after me and stopped me by putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Why Jack? Why now?" Bruce asked. I sighed a shook my head again. "Answer me, Jack. We both said after my divorce from Barbara was final , we would take both Jarley and Brick."

"I know...But Jarley ran away. I have to go find her." I stated as Bruce let go of me and I walked into the bedroom we shared.

*Jack Napier: I believe it was the 1989 Batman Film where The Joker was given the name Jack Napier.(Please tell me if im wrong. Cuz I kinda forgot :( )

Yay! It took a long while but I have the real Chapter 1 up! So please tell me what you think. Well that all for now!
