The Doctor stood in the TARDIS explaining the Aperture incident to Amy for exactly thirteen minutes and three seconds. When she finally heard the full story, they left the TARDIS and entered one room after another looking for the girl that the Doctor saw.
"So, Doctor, can you explain to me again what happened?"
"See, Aperture Laboratories started in the fifties. At that time, it was a small group of scientists that had almost no clue what they were doing. As the years passed, they started experimenting with atoms and molecules and eventually made a portal gun. Many, many years later, I was called by some scientists to watch their creation, whom is GLaDOS, come to life. The sad part is that GLaDOS was murderous. She filled the room with neurotoxin. I ran back to the TARDIS and escaped. Now, this girl that I saw will have to deal with GLaDOS. Don't worry though, she makes it out eventually." The Doctor gave a weak smile.
"Why are you acting so... odd?" The Doctor stared at Amy trying to get a grip on what she said.
"What do you mean 'odd'? I'm not odd, why would I be odd?"
"See? That, just that."
"Uh, might be memories. You know, Cave Johnson was quite a fun guy to hang out with."
Just then, a voice came over the intercom. "So, Doctor, you are back. It has been a long time since we last spoke."
"Uh, Doctor, what was that?"
"Hello GLaDOS!" The Doctor was shouting. "Are you feeling good? Well, I don't really care, because you are about to get what you disserve!" There was a long and unsettling pause.
"I'm going into the TARDIS." Amy was too unnerved by the story being real that she felt like she was going to faint.
"So, GLaDOS, can you even hear me?"
"Since you are my guest, Doctor, I will serve you cake." Amy poked her head out of the TARDIS.
"Cake?" The Doctor and Amy said in unison.
