LW: Chapter 2, anyone need a recap
Hermione: Harry finds out he's been repeatedly betrayed, legendaries arrived, played with the world to reset and change this and now it's full of pokemon and Harry's mum is alive.
LW: Close enough; let's get this show on the road.
A New World – The Beginning of an Adventure
Harry stood there for several minutes when it finally set in, in this world his parents were still alive, he had people who loved him and in childish fashion ran to her and hugged her. 'Where did this come from Harry?' Lily said with a smile 'I love you mum' Harry answered savouring the moment he never had 'Oh Harry, I know that. Come on let's make breakfast for when your father gets back' and they did the grin of euphoria never leaving Harry's face. He soon heard the front door open and a voice of 'Guess who's back!' and the joy increased several times over as he ran and embraced a strangely chipper James Potter 'Hey Prongslet what's all the affection for, realise you've got your journey in a few months? Don't worry kid you'll do great you're a Potter' Harry tensed at the sound of the 'journey' but assumed it was a right of passage thing here and it still left him with months of time with his parents as well as an excuse to be overly affectionate and a little clingy 'Yeah Dad, trying to stock up on time with you guys for the road' Harry answered semi-convincingly. James nodded and handed him a pokeball 'Look who's back from Albus' he said and Harry pressed the white button to release the creature. Out of it came an incredibly furry brown dog/fox pokemon 'Hi, I'm Neo remember me Harry' it barked and Harry tried not to react, he had a feeling understanding these guys was the gift Deoxy was talking about and so let the energetic little fox pokemon jump and knock him over hearing an older female voice groan 'Just great the hairball on a sugar high is back' and looked over at Precious who was glaring at Neo.
Harry's mind was still trying to keep up with things but he did learn Lily was a Healer in Viridian City where they lived and James worked with Sirius (Yay Paddy's alive!) in the police force, meanwhile Remus was a pokemon breeder, with a specialty in canines which was where he got Neo from. He also learnt Dumbledore was a researcher trying to compile a database of EVERY pokemon in existence in every region, which considering there are over 700, is taking a while. He managed to reintroduce himself to his family's main pokemon Lily's Persian 'Precious', her Liligent 'Elegance', James' Sawbuck 'Prongs' and his old Charazard 'Godric', Sirius' Arcanine 'Padfoot' and even Remus' Mightyena 'Moony'. He enjoyed his time with his family and just being a kid for a change. (Sorry this is just a paragraph glossing over stuff, not so good with filler and emotional stuff. Will definitely redo and edit)
Eventually the time arrived (as in 11th birthday) when he would begin his pokemon journey, and so all of them travelled to Pallet to meet up with Professors Oak and Dumbledore [Dumbles still Michael Gambon but more like when Sardick from DW. Basically no beard]. Arriving there he was lead into the main lab 'Well Harry it's time to begin your adventure like so many before you are you excited?' Albus asked 'Yes sir me, Neo and whatever pokemon I get will have a great time and I'll call in every town' Harry said cheerfully trying to keep the nerves from his voice. 'Well then my boy it's time to pick your pokemon' said Professor Oak in his jovial manner and moved so Harry could see the 3 pokeballs on the table. Not sure what difference any would make he picked one at random and opened it. Out of it popped a blue bipedal turtle creature with a smiling face; a Squirtle 'Hi I'm Torrent, are you my trainer?' he asked and Harry nodded, now used to the experience 'Yes Torrent I am' he answered 'Ah good you've already decided on a name, it's better to give them one immediately to avoid confusion later on' Albus said wisely.
'Hey, didn't Alice have a Squirtle when we started, I know Frank had a Bulbasaur but was it her that had the squirtle?' Sirius asked behind him 'Yeah, still has old Typhoon just as strong as ever last I heard' Lily answered eyes clouded with nostalgia. The names struck a cord in Harry's mind, and while his logical mind pointed out the stupidity of believing only people he saw as family and random people were in this world it was still weird to hear about people he knew as well as the way they were talking about the (most likely) Longbottoms meant Neville was also having a better life than in the original universe. 'Yeah, and their kid Neville, incredibly shy boy but a knack for grass types, Em gets as hyper as Neo when he comes over' Remus said. Hearing this Neo and Harry took notice; Em was Remus' leafeon and Neo's mother, she was named that because of her emerald green eyes she had as an Eevee. She had also been his first step in pokémon breeding; her and his original Eevee Amber, a Vaporeon mated and produced an Eevee that eventually became his Espeon Psimon.
Harry, Neo, Torrent and his family headed back towards Viridian Harry getting used to pokémon battles with the Squirtle as he went along. Getting back to the house he properly said goodbye to his family while trying not to laugh at Neo's complaints as Moony and Precious, being the only females around other than Elegance; groomed him (Whether it was to make sure he was at least clean before he began or if it was just to annoy him Harry didn't know). Before he left James and Lily pulled him aside and James revealed a small box 'I was given this by my father when I began my journey, now you're beginning yours I now pass it to you' Harry opened it to reveal a gold pendant; Inscribed on it was an Entei, with a Ho-Oh in flight above it. 'This is the Potter Coat of Arms, wear it with pride my son' James said and Harry hugged them both enthusiastically. After double checking all his supplies were there and the pokeballs were on his belt Harry set off into the Viridian Woods.
Harry had walked for about an hour alternating between his two pokémon as he battle wild pokémon when he met a kid with a net 'Hi I'm bug catcher Jimmy, battle me!' he said in a whiney voice. 'Ok' Harry answered 'Good, go caterpie' Jimmy called letting out the green caterpillar pokémon 'Go Neo' Harry called letting out the chipper Eevee 'I'm ready' 'Tackle Caterpie' 'Quick Attack Neo' The green bug tried to hit neo but missed the hyper fox pokémon who not only hit it but bounced of a tree and came back for another shot 'String shot' the Caterpie obeyed and this time it met it's mark, Neo falling over as his tail was stuck to the ground 'Now tackle again' Jimmy said triumphantly and it bug did 'again' 'Neo tackle now' the Eevee who had until then been sitting on it's tail coiled up before striking the bug, shooting it back to it's trainer as well as breaking the webbing. 'Good work Neo, you did well' 'I'm getting better at it aren't I Harry' Neo asked 'Yes Neo, you're the best' Harry answered.
Some time later Harry decided to forgo the pokeballs for now and the three of them strolled through the forest when they were shot at by a Kacoona in a tree, which then sniggered at them. 'Torrent you think you can hit it from there?' 'Of course I can' Torrent said sounding mock offended 'Then water gun' Torrent's aim was perfect and the kacoona was blasted right into the branches of a tall tree. The group celebrated until they heard an angry buzzing and an entire swarm of beedrill flew out of the tree 'What the fuck did your basterds do to our house and our kids? We will fucking kill you!' the lead beedrill yelled and the trio took it as a signal to run for it.
They soon reached the exit off the woods with the beedrill still following them and experienced a moment of cartoon physics when the began to run on water, except Torrent who went in immediately and gleefully followed them in the water. It didn't take long for the 2 left to realise their mistake and they sank into the water, the beedrill leaving when they didn't resurface nearby. Instead Harry had grabbed Neo and Torrent and the water pokémon helped get them to the other side of the lake. Getting out of the water they just lay their and Harry noticed his two pokémon looked tired. Deciding they needed a rest he returned 1st Neo who was lying on his chest, then Torrent who was on his back beside Harry. Harry slowly walked toward the Pewter City Pokémon centre, and dropped his pokémon off to get checked up.
Harry was waiting for them when he heard a voice 'HARRY POTTER!' and he turned to see who it was; a girl with bushy brown hair, slightly buck teeth and chocolate brown eyes a charmander by her side, it took him a minute to realise who it way and the tone of his voice said it all...
'Hermione...?'

phoenixfyre2552: Did you really think Arceus would let Deoxy create a whole new universe for one person? (Just kidding, he sorta did). Also about magic and pokemon just wait for the fractial {Frac-teal} bond and something cool will happen (not sure how or when to introduce that yet)
ReadAlert: Maybe, haven't gotten that far mentally, though if it does it'll be at least Unova before that.
mkeeg91: Have you been reading my notes or something? I'm just messing with you but for the record; while journey wise it's just the two of them in Kanto I think each of the other regions will be with people (Draco, Neville, Luna to name a few though it might just be one other per region)
