Chapter Two: The Making of

On Saturday, the kids all got together in the afternoon to help make Alex's project. "How about this?" Becca started rearranging the switches. "One battery [0] goes here. Then the switch here [1] turns on this light [2] while the light next to it [3] is powered by the other battery [4]." "That's a good idea! Then this switch can go here [5] and it powers the light [6] and then a wire connects it to the first battery [0] to complete the circuit," Alex said. They tested the circuit. "It works!" Ethan said happily. "Good luck on Monday, Alex."
