A/N: I just found this on my old Razr phone from 3 years ago, so yeah.

On an island, in an abandoned resort that Peridot had turned into a temporary H.Q.

"I'm going to work on contacting Homeworld, you two can do whatever you want." Peridot said carelessly as she walked off, leaving Jasper snarling at her back with Lapis in her arms.

The warrior Gem looked down at Lapis's cute, unconscious face as a light blush worked up hers again. The wild-haired woman looked around the dilapidated lounge as she slowly moved down the hall and into one of the rooms. She found a broken bed and not trying to be too soft Jasper tossed the small girl on the bed.

Lapis groaned lowly as she hit it and rolled over. Jasper then turned to an open bay window as the bright sun and view would have been magnificent by human standards, but still, in her eyes she regarded this place as a miserable dirt ball.

"How did this happen?"

Shame consumed Jasper as she knew her aggrandizement of the solution was at fault here. She should have crushed the Crystal Gems on the spot and blasted Rose's base into a million pieces.

"And fusing with Lapis...?"

Even though Lapis tricked her, Jasper had never felt power like that before in her life, and it was intoxicating. Her brutal strength and Lapis's control of water made them 100x more dangerous. What was even stranger was how easily she fused with the water Gem.

"Even against her will, Lapis still fused with me..."

Jasper had never THOUGHT of FUSING with ANY Gem before as she was told fusion was for the weak, a silly dance. Even frowning harshly and berating others for doing so, but now that she had tasted the power that fusion granted her... She wanted to do it again.

"Where am I?" Lapis groaned, her head throbbing painfully as her blue eyes blinked a few times than shot open as she bolted upright. She looked around swiftly as Jasper's large frame and hard eyes filled her view.

"Don't even think about it." Jasper cracked her knuckles loudly as she was right. Where would Lapis run now, Homeworld? The Ocean? ...Steven and the Crystal Gems?

They knew what that meant...

"Death."

"Coward!"

"Traitor..."

None of that mattered to Lapis now as she just wanted to be free again, at any cost as her watery wings flashed to life.

"I said!" Jasper grabbed the blue Gem by her short blue hair and slammed her face into the floor and mounted her back.

"I did say I was going to smash your Gem didn't I? Jasper's headgear appeared instantly as it came down on the middle of Lapis's back.

"NOOOOO!" Lapis screamed wildly, her limbs failing her as her blue Gem cracked loudly. Spittle shot from Lapis's mouth as her blue eyes turned a milky white again. Jasper's grin slowly faded as only Lapis's crying filled the room.

"I didn't mean?!" Jasper suddenly tried to explain herself as her headgear disappeared, seeing the large crack in the smaller girl's back.

"AHHHHHH!" Lapis roared violently, looking back her white eyes full of accusation.

"ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?!" The water Gem continued crying, tears pouring down her pale blue face.

Normally such a thing wouldn't bother Jasper, but she was fused with this Gem for weeks as she did run out of strength once and a while...

But then her brutality came forward again.

"If you would have just did what you were told!" Jasper stood up, unabashed at her actions as she glared down at the crying Gem.

"We could of BEEN HEROES! We could have crushed the rest of Rose's Rebellion! But YOU!?" Jasper screamed as she just wanted to choke the life out of this weak, idiotic Gem.

"You've damned us all!" Jasper smashed the wall above her head as she turned, holding back her emotions. Lapis remained sobbing on the floor, wiping her white eyes as she knew it was true. If she had told them about Steven, this would not have happened...

But then Lapis's violent self came to life as she stopped crying instantly.

"You should have shattered the Crystal Gems and destroyed Rose's base the second you landed, but you're selfish pride cost us EVERYTHING!" Jasper was taken aback by the blue Gem's sudden outburst as she raised the back of her hand at the white-eyed Gem, staring menacingly up at her.

"Go ahead Jasper, don't worry, it won't hurt... I've been through worse and you know that..." Lapis stood up, grinning insanely as Jasper backed away from the evil looking Gem this time. "I was broken and trapped for thousands of years! YOU THINK HITTING ME WILL ERASE ALL OF THAT!?" Lapis screamed loudly as someone appeared in the doorway.

"Are you two... done!?" Peridot came into view again as her jaw dropped.

"What are you doing? I can't leave you two alone for one minute, and what the hell happened to her!?" Peridot screeched as Jasper swiftly wiped her face.

"What's wrong Peridot? Never seen a cracked Gem before?" Lapis chuckled darkly.

"Why didn't you take your Gem form, h-how are you still whole?" Peridot's scientific mind was at odds at what she was seeing as Lapis not only looked different, but her attitude was completely different as well.

"I guess I just can." Lapis looked at her right hand in admiration, than sneered.

"JASPER?! What did you do to her?!" Peridot yelled again as she pointed a green finger at the shocked warrior Gem.

"S-She tried to e-escape and I-I-I..." Jasper knew about as much as Peridot as she just didn't understand what the hell was going on.

"Never mind, I've made contact, let's go." Peridot walked off as Lapis followed silently, her face twisted in a scowl. Jasper just stood in the middle of the room alone as she thought about what she had done to Lapis... More importantly, what was she going to say to Yellow Diamond?

"What I'm I going to do...?"
