Before Elsa entered the building, she found a private place near the fountain and opened up the golden, heart-shaped locket that her sister, Anna, had given her.
"Oh, Anna," Elsa whispered, stroking the picture in the locket, "I wish you were here."
In the locket there was a picture of nine-year-old Anna and ten-year-old Elsa at the beach. The other side of the locket had a picture of Elsa's parents, who had passed away a long time ago.
Elsa collected her luggage and entered the building after regaining her composure.
"Elsa Idina Westerguard," Elsa told the woman behind the desk.
"Room B207. You will be rooming with Rapunzel Mandy Corona," the woman told her, handing her the key.
Elsa entered the elevator and pushed the button. Once she reached her floor she stepped off then entered her room.
Elsa waited for Rapunzel so she could pick her bed, then began thinking to herself.
Rapunzel Corona was one of the most popular girls. Elsa used to be popular a long time ago before someone had let out the rumor that her parents had died. Later, most likely the same person let out another rumor saying she was a mean, cruel person.
Everyone believed that person since research proved the first rumor true; All of Elsa's friends abandoned her and she was a loner ever since. She was constantly being bullied, being called names, and being pranked on.
The door opened, snapping Elsa out of her thoughts. Rapunzel pulled in her pink luggage bags.
"Um, hi. I-I'm-" Elsa stuttered. She had forgotten what it was like to kindly communicate with someone.
"Elsa, I know," Rapunzel replied a bit harshly. She then plopped her bags on the bed closest to the bathroom.
"Um... There's going to be an orientation in ten minutes," Elsa didn't know what else to say.
Rapunzel ignored her, then began unpacking.
Elsa sighed to herself. Why did she even bother trying?
Jack looked at his uniform in the mirror. It was a white shirt with a navy blue blazer, a navy blue tie, gray khakis, and black dress shoes. Man, he hated boarding school already.
He stepped out of the dorm to see boys walking and chatting in the hallways, wearing the same uniform.
He entered the elevator, then once it reached the first floor, he stepped off and searched for Rapunzel. He saw her chatting with a boy with a goatee. He approached them, accidentally bumping into a few people.
"Hey, Jack! Meet my boyfriend, Flynn. Flynn, meet my cousin, Jack," Rapunzel introduced.
"Hey," Flynn greeted.
"Hey. Where do we go for the oriental thing?" Jack asked.
"First of all, it's orientation," Rapunzel corrected. "Second of all, we're still waiting for Hiccup and Merida."
"Right here, lassie. Hate the uniforms as the years go by, I'm tellin' ya," A girl with frizzy, red, really curly hair popped out from behind Rapunzel. Jack also noted her Scottish accent.
"Hey, Merida! Meet my cousin, Jack," Before Jack or Merida could even greet each other, Rapunzel asked, "Who're you rooming with?"
"Tha' nice girl, Tiana," Merida replied. "Wha' bou' you?"
"Elsa Westerguard," Rapunzel rolled her eyes.
"The lassie can' be tha' bad," Merida reasoned.
"Look, if the rumors about her dead parents are true, then this obviously is too," Rapunzel replied.
"Hey, guys," a mousy boy with brown hair and green eyes approached them.
"Hiccup, meet Jack. Jack, meet Hiccup," Rapunzel introduced for the third time.
"Wait a second, Hiccup?" I cocked an eyebrow.
"My real name is Harry. This one guy named Fred comes up with all the nicknames. Just because I hiccuped loudly for an entire class period," Hiccup muttered.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm pretty sure Mr. North is going to start the orientation soon, let's go," Flynn said, and Jack followed them to the auditorium.
"There she is," Rapunzel whispered, glancing at a platinum blond who was sitting alone. "Elsa Westerguard."
Before Jack could even say anything, a large man with a long white beard walked onto the stage.
Rapunzel, Flynn, Merida, Hiccup, and Jack sat in the closet seats. Jack tuned Mr. North out as he tried to figure out as to why everybody hated Elsa.
And so far he had nothing.
The Next Day
Jack entered English class first period and saw the platinum blond sitting in the front, scribbling something in a tiny book. She took glances at the chalk board, and it was then when Jack realized she was copying down the homework.
All the seats around her were vacant, so Jack sat in the one on her right.
"Welcome, everyone!" A woman greeted as she walked in.
She wore a long skirt similar to the girls' uniforms, except her dress reached her ankles. She did, however, wear the long-sleeved, navy blue shirt the girls were required to wear. Her brown hair was also in a tight, neat bun with no loose strands.
"My name is Miss. Poppins, and I will be your English teacher this year," Miss. Poppins said in a British accent.
"Now, I don't particularly like to give homework on the first day. I will, however, list class rules. Rule number one. No talking in class," she glanced sharply at two boys who were chuckling amongst themselves.
They saw her glance and quickly bowed their heads down, ashamed.
"Rule number two," Miss. Poppins began walking towards the back of the room.
"No texting," she then swiftly knocked a girl's book down, revealing the phone the girl had hidden behind the novel.
"Otherwise," Miss. Poppins snatched the phone. "Your phone will be confiscated." She then walked to her desk and put the phone in her top drawer.
"Now, I have plenty of more class rules, but the last one I will mention today," Miss. Poppins then proceeded to the middle row where a boy was seeing how big of a bubble he could blow.
"No chewing gum," Miss. Poppins popped the bubble with the end of her sharp nail.
"Now, any questions?" She asked once she reached her desk. No one dared to raise their hands; Jack was pretty sure no one dared to even breathe.
"Good. Now, today I want you all to write a two-page essay about yourselves, no skipping lines, front and back, due at the end of class," Miss. Poppins said.
Jack inwardly groaned, but accepted the sheets of looseleaf passed to him by Miss. Poppins and pulled out a pencil.
After he had written a few sentences, he noticed that Elsa had written two paragraphs.
Jack found it difficult to believe that such a quiet, passive girl was really cruel and vicious.
The person who told the rumors of Elsa WILL be revealed, but not yet. All will be revealed in time, lovelies! *evil cackle*
XD Jk about the evil cackle, but he/she WILL be revealed. Next chapter Elsa will have a visit at her lunch table from a certain white-haired boy, too!
Question: Would you believe the rumor about Elsa being mean?
