Hey! Sorry for not updating, we started PARCC testing in school this week and I've had so much homework and yeah, I'll try to update more often!
I am also changing it so that they are 25, so I will rewrite the character profiles later, or possibly tomorrow (cause I have a lot of homework)
Anyway, here's the next chapter!
Lewis was so out of his element. First of all, when Will had invited him to come with him to pick out an engagement ring for Bella, he didn't realize that he was going to be looking for Cleo! Sure, Lewis had thought about proposing, but he didn't know how. Or where. Or when.
The whole idea was a disaster waiting to happen.
Still, he had to admit he might have an idea that would be pretty cool… he just needed some time.
But first, he needed the ring.
Lewis and Will must have looked at dozens of rings before Lewis found one he thought Cleo would like. It was a light blue diamond in the center, with little diamonds wrapping around it and then down and aroung the band. (A/N: Link is in my profile!) Will couldn't find one for Bella, but Lewis gave him an idea.
"Dude," Lewis said, "why don't you make her engagement ring out of one of those crystals or something? I'm sure the other girls would help you find one."
"Lewis," Will spoke excitedly, "you're a genius!"
Will called Rikki while Lewis called Cleo and Emma and told them the plan. They agreed to help.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Cleo, Emma, and Rikki were looking for another crystal when Bella swam up.
"Hey," Bella asked, confused. "How come you guys are snooping around?"
"Um," Cleo started, "We were-"
"Looking for a new crystal because my necklace broke." Rikki interrupted.
"Oh, want some help?" Bella asked.
"I think we can find it, but thanks for offering." Rikki lied smoothly
Bella swan away, and we started looking even harder when Emma found one.
After handing it to Rikki to put in her pocket, Emma suggested that they get back and give Will the gem so he had time to make the ring before their big date tonight.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Will fiddled with the box in his pocket as he waited for Bella in the living room of the girl's flat. He had finished it just moments before he had to leave. He really hoped that Bella liked it.
"Ready?"
Will looked up as Bella walked towards him. She wore a yellow sundress, perfect for a picnic on the beach. Specifically, Lewis's secret fishing spot. Once they got there Bella saw the picnic already set up on a blanket. All of her favorite foods were set up.
"Oh Will," Bella gasped, "It's beautiful!"
As they ate, Bella noticed that Will was acting funny. He kept glancing at his pocket.
"Are you alright?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Will spoke nervously. "Listen, there's something I wanted to ask you."
"What?"
Will took her hand and led her near the water.
"What is it Will?" Bella asked again.
Will got down on one knee. "Bella Hartley, will you marry me?"
He opened the box. She gasped when she saw the ring. It was made of golden wire, twisted in several neat circles so that it was as wide as a normal ring. It had a large, circle blue gem form the moon pool.
"Yes!" Will picked her up and spun her around before kissing her.
A little while later, Bella sat examining the ring as Will cleaned up the remains of their picnic.
"So this is what the girls were looking for." She guessed. Will laughed.
"Yeah, I asked them to help. We couldn't have you looking for the stone of your own engagement ring, now could we?"
"No, I guess we couldn't."
Will laughed, and stood up. "You ready?"
Bella sighed. "No, but we have to. I have work in the morning."
While walking Bella home, they discussed their living arrangements. They decided that Bella would move in with Will over the weekend, as it was Sunday.
They couldn't have been happier.
And that is all for now! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and sorry it's short! Cleo and Lewis's engagement will happen in the next chapter, as well as some suprises.
Stay tuned!
