'What if they already know?' I whisper to Feli, a sudden wave of 'oh-dear-god-no' washing over me. I mean, I never wanted to do this in the first place, but now it's actually happening. What if he thinks I'm a freak? Oh god, why wouldn't he think I'm a freak? How do I even explain it?!

'They've never even met you before,' Feli smiles, not that him smiling is anything new, 'and if Nonno has told them about your... situation, then they must be fine with it since they still want to meet you!'

'Alright, Feliciano, this might come across as a little bit shocking, but not everybody is as gay as you are,' I hiss, trying to not let myself be heard by Nonno, 'I mean, Antonio-'

'Antonio what, Romana?' Feliciano hums, blinking innocently, 'He might be straight? Well, you're a girl! He might be gay? Look at you, you're also a guy! Bi? Poly? Pan? It doesn't even matter at this point, Romana. You two are fated to marry, whether you love each other or not. I mean, it's better that you do love each other, and if you truly don't then I suppose Nonno might find a way out of it... but that's unlikely! You have to marry Antonio, and you're going to inherit his family restaurant.'

'But why not you?!' I accidentally yell, clenching my fists around the straps of my back pack, 'You're a better cook, a better server, you're better at everything, so why aren't you marrying him! Why me?! I'm not good at anything!'

'Don't say that, fra- sorella! You're an amazing... uh... you're really good at...' Feli's pace slows as he brings his hand to his chin in thought, 'hm... what are you good at? I guess you're pretty good at yelling. You'll make a good mama! Then your's and Antonio's babies can-' Feliciano doesn't get to finish that sentence, because I punch him on the head. The stupid bastard.

As myself and my stupid Nonno and brother eventually reach the Carriedo residence, I finally ask Nonno where we will be staying.

'Here, of course.' He replies, as if it's the most obvious answer.

'Here?! With them?!' I pretty much scream, and because God obviously hates me, some asshole decides to open the door at the exact moment I start going off with that shrill voice of mine. I recompose myself immediately and turn to meet the door-opener.

A woman is stood in front of me, leaning against the door frame with a smile on her face. Her skin is tanned and her hair is a glossy dark brown, and her eyes are a very pretty hazel. The woman's smile grows wider as she glances at me, and then gestures for us to follow her inside. Feli happily obliges, skipping after the pretty lady like the fucking shit bag he is. I begin to consider running away. I'm pretty fast, faster than my old man, so I can probably get out of here. I'll just wait for Nonno to go inside and then I'll sprint. I mean, Feli can easily pass as a girl. He used to wear my dresses all the time when we were kids. I'm sure he'll be just fine. Yeah. Feliciano can handle this. I'll just wait for Nonno to-

Fucking shit dammit balls. Nonno knows me too well. The damn bastard slings me over his shoulder and fucking carries me in after Feliciano and the woman, despite my very calm protests and kicks and punches and okay so maybe I was yelling. I'm only brought to silence when I hear a voice from behind me. A simple, chirpy, '¡Hola!' and I tense up. Oh, god. This is really happening.

AN: I have the vaguest plot for this, so I'm terribly sorry if it goes messy and all over the place! I just really wanted to write this fic. Thank you for reading! Be sure to leave a review! I love hearing what you all think of my writing~
