Sleep hadnt come easily. I tossed and turned for hours before i finally fell asleep and even then i was plagued with nightmares of edward laughing at me. Like it was a funny thing, him breaking my heart. I was awakened with rare sunlight coming into my window. I could hear Charlie moving around in his room and i figured i would get up and make him breakfast. This would be the last chance i had to spend time with him so i wanted to take advantage of it. I made a whole breakfast spread. Bacon, eggs and even pancakes it looked pretty good but it didn't have much of an appetite. Charlie came down the stairs and stopped when he saw all the food. "This looks amazing Bells." he told me smiling. I smiled back at the compliment and we ate breakfast together in a nice silence. The good thing about Charlie was you didn't need to fill the silence with meaningless chit chat. He got up to leave for work and i went up to him and gave him a hug and let him know i loved him. He hugged me back and left the house. I would miss him

I went upstairs to pack a bag to take with me to volterra. I grabbed my school bag and emptied it out on my bed and went to my closet. I didn't want to pack heavily so i packed my favorite skinny jeans boots and shirts. It wasn't much though since most of my clothes were picked out by the midget pixie. I also grabbed my kindle and paperback copy of wuthering heights. I had to have my books. I went to my sock drawer and grabbed the money i had been saving and put it in my bag to along with a family picture of me renee and charlie when i was a baby. Just because i wanted a new life and revenge didn't mean i wanted to forget my human life and my family. I went to my desk and grab a pen and ripped a page out of my note book so i could write a note to charlie. I didn't want to just disappear into thin air. I wouldn't do that to him. My note red

I walked into the airport slightly melancholy about leaving my life here but overall i was happy with my decision to do this. I would either die at the hands of the volturi or i would be changed into an immortal creature of the night and begin my new life. I went up to the ticket counter and asked them when an available flight to volterra italy would be. They told me the next one wasn't for another 3 hours. I was surprised to find one so soon. I handed over the money and went to hangout at the gate till boarding. I sat down against the window and before i knew it, it was time to board. As i walked down the tunnel towards the plane i knew my life would never be the same. I couldn't wait to see what the future held for me
