Addition to the Family – Teaser

Okay guys so I know it has been a really long time since I have been able to update but work has been driving me crazy as well as keeping updated with everything else so I figured with being home this week that it might just be easy for me to be able to type up a chapter or two. Also my computer is being a pain again I am hoping that I don't lose everything again but if that does happen to happen it will be alright I guess.

But now to the story.

Heidi's POV

I smiled at the 4 young twins. Carm and Marco were fitting in perfectly. "Now you 4 behave if you leave the palace here. You all know Aro will be mad if you wander off and get hurt."

There was a thought that crossed my mind to get a sitter for the 4 of them seeing how the last time I had trusted them to behave Genna needed Marcus's help to trust Jane and Carm ever again. But they all had been given homework from school, which should keep them out of trouble.

Demetri walked up placing a calming hand on my shoulder. "Still haven't left yet to go fishing?"

I shook my head. "Not yet, Aro wants me to go fishing but I'm also supposed to be watching the twins so they don't cause trouble. Would you watch them for me, just until I get back from fishing?"

Carm turned glaring at me. "Heidi, physically we might be 16, however mentally we are older. Just go get food we don't need a watch dog for the two hours you will be gone." With that she turned back to her book continuing to work on the homework we had insisted the teacher gave them.

I nodded turning to Demetri. "Just make sure that if they do leave they don't scare the villagers too much and that they don't end up getting a hold of Genna again like they did the last time. Oh and no making out until they are done their homework and Aro has checked it. We know they like to do that and when they do start they don't like to be disturbed."

He smiled nodding to me. "Don't worry now you had best hurry or all the good stuff will be gone before you even manage to make it out of the courtyard here."

And so I left forgetting about the twins for a little while so that I could concentrate on the work at hand, which was getting food for the rest of the court. Although that did include the twins but they were pickier than anything when it came to what they would eat specifically Alec and Carm. I did sometimes think that they did that on purpose so it would take me longer to go out fishing for them but they were patient when it came down to this only feeding when they absolutely had to on other things but enjoying when I did manage to find something to their liking.

Demetri's POV

I knew that Heidi would be stressing about the twins when she was gone but really I couldn't exactly blame her. She had gotten into trouble the last time when she was supposed to have been watching them and they had managed to terrify Genna, although it had been hilarious to watch I doubt that Aro would find it funny if they managed to get into it again. Although I had heard him say that when Heidi left he had wanted to see them in the council room so that he could have a word with them and so that is what I was going to do first get them into that room and let them deal with Aro before they finished their homework.

"Okay guys, Aro wanted to see you when Heidi left so you should probably go into there now and have your chat with him seeing how she just left. We all know what will happen if she gets back and you didn't go into see him at that point he will be extremely mad at you again."

Carm nodded putting down her pencil. "Ya guys he is probably right, Aro did say he wanted to see us and we all know if we don't go he will have the teacher give us more homework during the week and so it will take us longer to finish everything. And we know what that means." She looks over at Alec winking to him. The two of them had been playing footsies under the table after taking off their shoes, although it was a quiet form of flirting they did know the rules but I would let it slide as long as they stayed out of trouble.

I brought Carm to my side whispering into her ear. "I saw that your shoes were off and where Alec was sitting." She let out a gasp quietly looking up at me. "I won't tell Aro about this but you misbehave at all and I will be left with no choice but to show him and take the rap for what I let you do and you will receive the full force for breaking the rules the both of you."

She nodded to me before turning away skipping off to the chamber as if nothing had happened at all. I did follow them in there not exactly to listen to what was being said but to make sure that when they left they went back to their school work which they had just left and not up to their rooms. When I walked into the chamber all four of them were standing in front of Aro just looking at him before he began to speak.

"Now you four have enough homework to keep you busy for the next few hours however if you do manage to finish it you may go out as long as you take one of the older ones with you to make sure you stay out of trouble."

By this point I could see that Carm and Alec were glaring at Aro. Those were the two that usually would start things, Marco and Jane would normally be happy staying at home and just enjoying their time with each other making out or just rolling around in bed.

"No Carm there will be no exceptions to this rule for today if you manage to behave then maybe next time you can leave alone with Alec but the two of you together in the village isn't a good idea. If I find that you have gone out without someone or manage to lose them somehow through the city there will be severe consequences. And I do mean that and it won't just be no dinner tonight. You won't be sitting for the next week if you manage to do that and your play time well lets just say I have a plan for that too."

Jane and Carm looked at each other knowing that if push came to shove they wouldn't win against Aro he would be able to do what he has promised. But I did suspect that they were going to push the boundaries just to see how far they could get today if something did end up happening. It had been a few months since they had really been out into the village with free time and today would be a test just to see if they could do it alone. My prediction is that it would end horribly and they would be getting punished for their actions.

Jane smiled then. "Does Demetri count as one of the older ones?" She turned then looking at me meeting my eyes.

Aro met my eyes for a second too before nodding. "He is capable of taking you guys out of the palace just remember you need to stay with him."

Carm then spoke up smiling. "What happens if he loses us and we come right back here as soon as we notice that he isn't there anymore? That won't be our fault if he gets … um … sidetracked by something."

Ciaus looked at Carm, meeting her eyes glare for glare being one of the few that could withstand what she could do with those wonderful glances. "Carm, if you manage to lose him I expect you to stay exactly where you are and to send me a message and someone else will come and get you guys. If you move or leave it will be exact same as leaving here without someone."

I could see her shake slightly knowing that none of her abilities would work on Ciaus and being unable to really do anything for her own safety when it came to him and she knew that it would be him punishing her if the push came to shove. Aro knew this too and he let his brother handle this one twin as well as her boyfriend.

They all nodded to Aro before leaving the room to go back to work on their homework I really didn't doubt that they would get everything done before Heidi returned from her fishing.

Aro looked at me. "Are you comfortable taking them into town if they want to go today, Demetri?"

I nodded to Aro. "As long as they know that they will be in trouble if they try anything when it comes to doing this. I know that Ciaus will punish Carm for anything and she is scared of that happening a little bit so it might deter them but I doubt we will see tonight and them not be in trouble."

Aro smiled and nodded himself. "Yes I do believe you are correct about that but I do have to try with them. They are going through another teenager phase which I hope will be over soon."

I laughed. "We can only hope for that to happen there, Aro. But I had best head out there as I know Carm was almost done all her homework and she will more than likely help Alec finish his so that they can go out for the day."

And with that I bowed out of the chamber going to the table where they should be finishing their work. But Carm and Alec were gone. Shaking my head I sighed wondering where they had taken off to now. I looked over at Jane with a smile. "Where have those two taken off to?"

Jane smiled, shrugging. "I think they may have gone for a walk in the garden since they were both done their homework that they had to have done for tomorrow." She laughed for a second. "But in a few minutes would you mind going with us for a walk into the village it would be awesome. I know they will be wanting to go too so don't worry about them they won't leave without you."

I nodded settling into one of the chairs that was at the table. I had an idea that the four of them were going to end up trying something when we were on our walk around town. It didn't really matter, if they did try something it would Aro and Ciaus who would deal with them. So I settled myself for a bit of a nap shutting my eyes relaxing knowing the second we left the palace I would have to be watching not only with my eyes but with my senses for this to work out right. Aro did trust me because of my other abilities but I know the mischief that was awaiting me.

What seemed to be a minute later Carm was poking me impatiently. "Come on Demetri you better wake up or I get to have some fun with you before we go and I doubt that we will get into trouble for me doing this because Aro's rule was nothing outside the palace and you can defend yourself perfectly." She had an evil smile on her face when I opened my eyes.

"Ha ha very funny there Carm." I sat up looking at her. "Now you wanted something from me?"

She nodded again looking at me. "Yes, the four of us wanted to go out into the village and you are coming with us to make sure we don't get into too much trouble while were are there."

I cleared my throat. "I am supposed to make sure that you don't get into any trouble at all while we are in the village."

She nodded dragging me to the door. "Now come on we want to have some fun before all the villagers go home."

She clamped her hand onto Alec laughing when he jumped at her. "Now is Demetri ready to leave?" He asked her then sees me standing there. "I guess he is ready to go so we should be heading out. Come along Demetri and make sure you keep up I don't want to get into that kind of trouble for misbehaving if you can't keep up."

We spent the next 3 hours just running around the village. Sometimes scaring the villagers with random tricks these 4 would come up with. But it was when Carm and Alec decided it would be a nice idea to take a joy ride that they really got me mad at them. Carm had decided to hot wire a car that had been sitting there for a good 2 hours and claimed it was for the good of the village seeing how there was a limit on the parking of 30 minutes. I shook my head telling them that it wasn't a good idea and that Aro wouldn't approve of this use of her abilities. I shook my head when she told me get into the vehicle.

"Carm, this isn't appropriate and I won't go along with it."

She sighed huffing looking over at Alec with a pleading look on her face. Alec shook his head. "I can't babe we would be in really big trouble if I did that to him. As it wouldn't just get him but it would also get a bunch of other villagers. But that doesn't mean that …" He elbowed Jane who nodded her head towards me. Turning her attention to me with a smile.

"Jane, you don't want to be doing that right now." But before I could finish getting that sentence out I was on the ground in pain. I hated when Jane did this.

Alec's POV

We had a good time in the village but when Carm suggested we take the car and move it since it wasn't in a place it was suppose to be it was too much fun for me to really pass up on the offer. It was just the problem of what to do with Demetri while we moved the car and got back to him. Carm did have a good idea of me removing his senses but it would be a little more difficult to control it. This is why I turned to Jane. She could just get Demetri in her grasp and we would be fine. However we didn't think this through very well as it would be an issue as to what to do with him while we were in car. Which is where I came up with this next thought.

"Carm, why don't we just make those two watch him and the two of us take the car and move it for the rest of village I am sure it will be fine. I doubt that Demetri will even notice we are gone as long as we are quick about this." I smiled at her and to my sister who was glaring at me.

"I don't like that idea at all Alec. I mean I want to be the one to drive after all I am the only one that actually has my license the rest of you it is a little bit illegal for you to drive a car alone." Jane retorted to me.

I nodded. "You might be right about that. But we can't take care of Demetri and it would take too long for us to transfer your ability to Carm so this is the plan. I promise the next thing that we do we will let you take charge and come up with the plan."

With that I climbed into the driver's seat, beside my girlfriend who had managed to start the car hoping that Jane and Marco wouldn't rat us out. Although I knew that would probably happen so we might as well head back to palace very slowly after we get this car parked somewhere else.

I turned to Carm with a smile. "You know the second we are out of their view that Jane will probably release him and tell him that we have taken off. So I know that they will head back to palace at that point so I suggest we should just take our time getting back to the palace, spend the afternoon out here since we are going to be in trouble any way."

She nodded smiling pulling me into a hug. Unfortunately that was probably a bad idea seeing how we were on the outskirts of town and kind of ran the car into a tree. "Oopsie, I guess you can't hug and drive at the same time." She laughed; I doubt she really cared about the car.

I laughed along with her for a second before getting out of the car pulling her with me, as I went. "We should be going we don't want to be found near this car as the cops will be involved and we can't have that happen. As if we do Aro will be really really mad or at least more mad than he already is going to be since we decided to take a car out without having a licence."

She nodded smiling. "I guess you're right we should probably head back to the palace anyway if your sister and my brother decided to tell on us we are going to be in mega trouble."

I pulled her into my arms kissing her as we continued to walk at human pace taking our time to make it back to palace. It was relaxing walking with Carm most of the time that we were together. It wouldn't be long before she was gone again and that day it would really kill me, but for the time being I had a partner in crime and one who was as mischievous as I was. It made things so much more fun when there was someone who was willing to do it with you. It took us 3 hours before we could see the palace in front of us. I shrugged not wanting to continue walking at this speed knowing that we should probably race up to our shared bedroom to try and prevent any of the guards or really anyone from seeing us. I looked over at Carm, she would go for this idea but there was one slight problem with it. If there was someone waiting for us in the room then we would be in even more trouble as we had just been chastened this morning for running in the palace at our full speed and Aro had promised us a week's worth of lines if we decided to do this again.

"Carm, Babe." I smiled down at her slightly as she was tucked under my arm and cloak, being really quiet for the past little while.
She smiled. "It won't work Alec. Aro already thought about that and there is someone waiting for us up there and if we run we will be in even more trouble and I really don't feel like writing out lines anymore than I already am going to be facing them with the teacher gets a hold of my essay that I spent the morning writing."

I laughed at her nervously. Her and our teacher had gotten into a heated discussion about the topic for an essay and knowing her she probably went for the one that would piss her off the most and frankly it was typical for Carm to go for the choice that would lead her into trouble but put up a pretty good fight that she was right. And it would be that teacher who would call Aro about the fact that Carm hadn't listened to her about the topics and frankly it would be Carm who would challenge the teacher. I shook my head at her walking towards the front entrance of the palace, we might as well get this over with right now.

The second we walk in the palace we are swarmed by the guards that are usually in the chamber as we are being dragged there, as well as away from each other. I do try to keep my footing but it didn't work there were too many of them and frankly it was really bad that they could do this. They also had managed to blindfold Carm and they had my hands apart so they were waiting for us and they knew what to do to make sure we couldn't do anything about that. I looked over at Carm she was fairly calm as she was fairly easy when it came to this as if it seemed to calm her. But I guess that comes with Aro having the guards practice on you most of the times until you can control your thirst enough to go to school, and not slaughter then entire yard to get enough blood to feed the hunger we feel during a typical day.

When we get to the chamber the only 2 that are in there are Ciaus and Aro. I had a feeling that we were going to get yelled at and frankly I guess we did somewhat deserve it partially when I think about it. Aro comes up and takes my hand, knowing that Carm's natural defences would get in the way if he took her hand equally causing a problem when he wanted to find out exactly what happened. She had also been known for painting him pictures of what she had hoped to happen which would always get us out of the trouble that we were in seeing how he was seeing our intentions and not what really did happen. I met eyes with him as he went through the afternoon and probably our time in the garden and most likely the conversation that Carm and I had had just after I managed to total the car that we had been driving. Now I wasn't going to be able to sit for probably the next two weeks but that was going to be Carm's predicament as well so I didn't feel so bad. But we were both going to be in a massive amount of pain, and not just the amount that we would be in for today but probably the past week. We had both been causing trouble while we had been in school pulling random pranks on the teacher and whatnot during class and break. It was all childish really but necessary for our entertainment.

Aro stepped back looking at both of us waving the guards away from me and Carm letting us fall on the ground. I kneeled pulling Carm up onto her knees beside me pulling the blindfold off of her so that she could see what was going on as well. I wanted her beside me when I faced Aro but I knew that would leave her to face Ciaus. That all being said she could stand the ability of not knowing what was going to come but Aro wouldn't deal with her himself, she would manage to get out of the punishment in a few minutes. We all knew that wouldn't be fair to anyone else but that was fine with me she had her abilities and frankly it would be easier for her to deal with the situation. So we kneeled there on the floor waiting while the two adults talked and discussed our punishment together quietly. I was going to add in that Jane and Marco did help us get away with this and that they should be punished for this too but I doubt that they would go for this. I know that Jane would have told Demetri about the threat that Carm had said to her about not helping us and that we would be in even more trouble so I kept my mouth shut hoping that Carm would do the same.

"Now the two of you were told what before you left?" Aro started.

"That we weren't supposed to run off on the older one that came with us," We said in unison before Carm added under hear breath. "And we didn't we drove."

Ciaus looked at her, his eyes growing incredibly large. "Excuse me young lady? You can repeat yourself in the normal tone of your voice. If you are saying something in this chamber then you need to make sure everyone can fully hear it not just partially hear you when you speak. Now repeat yourself."

She put her head down knowing she was caught. "I don't think that I should repeat myself it wasn't so nice what I said it was just a correction about what Alec had said really although I do agree with him."

Ciaus hadn't moved from where he was standing glaring at her. "And what was this correction I want to hear what you said so you are going to repeat yourself."

She nodded. "I said and we didn't we drove."

Aro had moved up to beside his brother looking at the two of us. "You two need to pass your licence before you can drive and you have been told that several times in the past while. You not only drove you crashed the car that you didn't borrow but stole off the side of the road."

I couldn't hold it any longer. "We did have help with getting away from him you have to tell me that you did punish both Jane and Marco for their part in today."

Aro met eyes with me. "Yes they have been punished but they were punished in a different way than the two of you will be as it needs to be different for you two so that maybe we will stop getting calls from the school as well. Alec and Carm you both have gotten away with more things than anyone else here ever has and I think it's about time that the two of you understand what it means to be part of this family and getting punished the way the others do." He looked over at Ciaus allowing him to continue.

"So for the next 3 weeks. You will both be spending your nights helping the guards train doing anything that they need to be done. We have a list of drills that need to be run each and every night. So your nights won't be spent together every night after dinner you will report to Demetri to see what your assignment for the night is. Before dinner however you can't be alone with each other you will be either in here working on homework or you will be working on homework in the front where Genna can keep a close eye on you as well as every other guard that walks the hallway." Ciaus smiled knowing that if it was just Genna it would be quite easy for us to avoid staying there with what Carm could do to her.

We both nodded looking at each other and knowing that there would be more and it would be worse. There would be at least one spanking and more than likely a little foreplay leaving us both desperate for the night which was never very nice for either of us during school the next day. There didn't seem to be a place that we could sneak off to during the day while we were there to relieve the pressure that would build up even if it was left alone. There was something about being a vampire and that need for stuff seems to grow if it's left for too long and the problem was that if Carm got it done lightly it would be even worse for her and Ciaus knew that. More than likely tonight would be terrible as I doubt that they would be making us do the guard thing during the night that we got punished but I am fairly sure that that we would be getting that punishment tonight. Turning our heads to the two heads of not only our species but our family we stayed quiet not wanting to get into any more trouble than we were already in. they seemed to have found a trick that if they punished us the same way that they punished Jane and Marco we really didn't care, but I did enjoy those days I wanted their punishment it was easy and so enjoyable. Well not really it did hurt but the pain was gone fairly quickly as Carm would take my gift and do it to me and I would use mine on her making the feeling to away.

Aro was the one who continued with the list of what our punishment would be for tonight and possibly the worst part of the punishment. "Now as for your immediate punishment for you car stealing as well as your sneaking off as promised. Carm you will go with Ciaus into the room and receive a bare spanking there for what you have done and Alec you will receive one out here from myself. Your abilities will also be suspended from further use unless they are required by someone and it has been signed off by me or one of my two brothers here. Then you are going to be left desperate for the night and you both know what that means. So I doubt that I am going to need to explain it for the both of you. Then you will be chained up in the chamber for the night and let go in the morning with just enough time for you to make it to school on time."

Ciaus continued speaking about school. "Now we have also received several calls from your school in the past week. You two have been pulling random pranks around the school which will cease immediately. One more call from the school about pranks or any kind of misbehaviour and there will be serious and severe consequences for those actions and it doesn't matter if it is just one of you or both. You both have caused enough trouble in the past few days that this will be the final warning you are getting."

I looked over at Carm hoping that she would come clean about the essay hoping that it would save us as the teacher for our English class would be calling Aro about it if she didn't like the topic. After a silent discussion between the two of us with our eyes Carm did finally give into my request after all I did know Aro better than she did and so it would be the fact that I did know best what to do. She sighed before opening her mouth to speak to both of them making sure that they could really hear her.

"What would happen if we have already done something but the teacher hasn't seen it yet and they will make a phone call to you when they do see it?" She asked looking innocent which was a normal thing for her.

Ciaus returned to his chair before answering her. "Well then I suggest that you both fix the problem before the teacher does see it."

Innocent orange eyes met his deep red ones softly. "I can't rewrite my entire essay in a few hours it isn't possible and come out with a 97% which is what Aro expects. I wanted to tell you now and hoping that if you knew the call was going to be coming. But I will talk to the teacher tomorrow and see if she will give me an extension on my work so that I can rewrite the essay tomorrow night with all the rest of my homework that I need to get done."

Ciaus nodded. "Although I am proud of you for standing up and saying that you have done this we will leave you be able to sit on the steps tonight so that you can finish your essay while you sit here and that is the way that it is going to be. You will rewrite your essay completely and so we don't get a call from this teacher of yours tomorrow as to the fact that you have refused to follow the rules that she has set out for one of your assignments. And the next time you won't attempt to annoy them by doing this. Is that understood?"

Carm nodded before Ciaus made his way towards the back room of the chamber where usually she was punished. The two of us called it the whipping room although we knew that Aro and the rest of the guard did have a different name for it. I kneeled on the floor bracing myself to listen to the lecture that Carm was going to receive from Ciaus while she was getting her punishment. That was part of it having to listen to the lecture and the screams of the other one during the punishment as it would pain us even more each having to listen to the cries of their other half's screams. I watched as she stood up and gracefully made her way back to the room, even knowing what was coming she seemed to always have that grace that a vampire gets when they have been reborn for a few years and able to walk.

Ciaus's POV

It had begun to annoy me that Carm and Alec always seemed to be the ones who were getting into trouble. But when Demetri had returned to the palace and had informed us that Alec and Carm had taken off it was getting really bad. I was fed but with both of them seemingly thinking that the two of them could get away with everything. But we were going to teach them for the next 3 weeks they wouldn't be able to touch each other making each and every moment worse for them. We would make them desperate tonight and it would continue when it was necessary. And their chances of sleeping together would be ended as they would be helping the guard all night with their skill set it would be useful for the guard to learn to deal with them. We had a few new ones and they needed to know how to deal with them.

So that brings me to now I am in the room waiting for Carm to make her way into here so she can receive her punishment completely and then she would stay in here for the duration of Alec receiving his punishment so she could listen to him receiving his as well as him listening to her. Although I did feel sorry for Alec a little more as Carm tended to be a little more vocal during her spankings when they came from me. I think that is because she seems to be able to get out of them when it is anyone else giving them to her which is unfair to anyone else who may be receiving them at the same time.

Carm walked into the room quietly looking around seeing just me in the room. "I thought there were going to be more people."

I shook my head. "No if there was more people there would be more a chance that you get out of this. Carm I know your tricks better than you think and I know that there is always a way that you seem to think that you can get away with this. So it is just going to be the two of us and you are going to take this like anyone else has to because I am not allowing you to bring anyone else into here other than Alec to suffer this punishment, which you have brought upon yourself."

I knew I did have her she hated taking the punishment herself but she wouldn't bring Alec in to make him suffer the same fate that she was facing knowing that it was going to be bad for her. With a huff she met eyes with me letting go the usual orange that they stayed when she had fed and she was accepting what was being thrown at her.

Narrator's POV

3 Hours later found both Carm and Alec chained completely away from each other in the chamber while Carm worked on her essay which she didn't get finished. That would cause them an addition 2 weeks helping the guards train up the newbies that had just joined up.

Author's Note – Okay guys so I do want to again apologise for it taking me this long to update these stories. I am working on getting the next chapter of Hurt Meets Temper up but it is kind of caught on my computer and that seems to have a mind of it's own right now. But I am hopeful that it will be up soon. As for I have a sister both the next chapter as well as the teaser for that one should be up soon right after I put the finishing touches on them. But hoping to get another one done before I return out west.
