"Hey, Fujiwara-chan," the young princess, Temari called as she opened the door to the pastry shop.

The young girl with blood red eyes turned her head towards sparkling blues with a sweet smile. "Hello, Temari-san," She said in a clear nearly angelic voice bowing her head slightly in respect.

Temari mock glared at Fujiwara who busied herself with designing an angel food cake ordered for a very important birthday celebration. "I told you to call me 'Mori-san," She said frustrated and amused. "How many times do i have to say it?!"

"Always once more ...'Mori... -san,"Fujiwara said.

Temari's near smile flattered hearing "-san". "You call everyone '-san'," Temari muttered with a uncharacteristic slight pout.

"Except Gaara," An ever lazy Shikamaru yawned coming from behind Temari, his hands in his pants pockets.

Temari scowled at her lazy boyfriend, "Yeah, but she calls him "Suna no Gaara-sama" even more formal than his fan club!"

Shikamaru shrugged walking in looking at the cake Fujiwara was currently working on. "That for Gaara's birthday," Shikamaru asked with no real interest.

"Yes," Fujiwara replied politely; his lack of interest in her creation didn't bother her any.

Shikamaru sighed again, "How troublesome... why did i have to come pick up the cake with you? You're perfectly capable of doing it yourself...."

Smack!

Fujiwara winced in sympathetic pain watching Temari punch Shikamaru in the back of his 'pineapple head' as Naruto once insulted on an odd occasion Temari dragged her along for.

"You're staying here," Temari demanded.

Fujiwara finished the frosting design as Kankuro asked: "Loosen up little bro!" The background of a sunset. "It's done, 'Mori-san."

Temari gave Shikamaru one more glare before smiling at Fujiwara. "So... you're coming to the party right?" Temari asked with a smirk.

Fujiwara just smiled eventhough she felt the deadly waves of scheming coming from the tall blonde. "Sorry I won't be able to attend right away but I'll be there by sundown."

Temari frowned, "Why not come immediately to the party with us?"

Fujiwara smiled sadly, "I haven't visited Oka-san in a few days and I promised myself I would definitely go today."

Temari looked sympathetic, "Okay take your time but make sure to come."
