Out of change and out of luck.
It was typical me to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with no means of communication. But it was also typical you to know exactly where I was when I was in trouble.
I was hoping it would be the same this time.
But it wasn't.
Someone found me as I was walking along the dusty road. I didn't think I just reacted. She grabbed at my neck and pulled me in. Only to set her sharp teeth into my skin.
