Charlotte glanced down as they flew over London. She was excited to be going on an adventure but she did feel guilty that they were disappearing without telling their parents. The prospect of seeing another place was too good to pass up, but she did wish they weren't in their nightgowns. It was rather indecent for the girls especially, seeing as Peter Pan was a boy. Granted he couldn't be much older than Wendy, but he was still a boy.
They finally arrived in Neverland just as the sun was rising. Charlotte and Wendy began cooing over the mermaids and all of the wildlife while John and Michael were more interested in the Indians and pirates. Peter smirked to himself watching the four siblings, he found all of them interesting especially the younger girl.
Before a fight could break out amongst the siblings there was a loud bang and cannonballs began flying at them.
"Wendy! John! Michael!" Charlotte called out. Only when all three had reassured her they were safe did Charlotte begin to wonder why they were being targeted. The cannonballs had come from the pirate ship, which Peter was facing. He began taunting the ship captain, with the Darling family watching worriedly.
"Be careful, Peter!" Wendy called out. Peter just grinned and turned to Tink.
"Take them to the hideout, Tink." Peter ordered. Tinker Bell flew over to the group and began to lead them, going too fast for them to follow. She went to the Lost Boys, persuading them to go and shoot the 'Wendy bird', in blue.
Wendy and Charlotte were flying together, with the boys a distance behind them. Charlotte panicked seeing arrows and other deadly objects flying towards her younger sister.
"Wendy! Look out!" Charlotte screamed, pushing her sister out of the way. Unfortunately, she didn't notice the arrow heading directly for her until it was embedded in her arm. Charrlotte screned in pain as she fell to the ground. She closed her eyes waiting to fall to her death, her last thought being relief she had at least saved her sister.
A/N: Sorry this is so short, I'm trying to get back into writing. I do, however, intend to complete this story.
