Lady Hades and I ducked around the stone corridors and various pathways in the tunnels of Necron's entrance, avoiding the false Hades' guardsmen along the way.

Sure, Hades was powerful enough to blow past anyone who stood in our way, but Mistress wanted to do things the quiet way, so here we were, sneaking through the shadows.

We were to be subtle, relying on the shadows to guide us to where ever Lady Hades was leading.

To my surprise, the entire realm of Necron had a tendency to warp and bend around my lady's desires. New passageways would open up from solid walls. Formations in the cavern formed suddenly to hinder any of the usurper's guards from discovering us.

If I had any doubts about my mistress being who she says she was before, they are finally gone now.

"I have been searching for a champion ever since my throne was taken from me." Hades started speaking suddenly. "Yet no one was worthy enough to survive the drastic change of my Gift, and vanished into oblivion." She said a bit too casually.

Wait, what?!

"...Except you." She turned to me with a small smile. "You are the first to survive and have become the very champion that I've been searching for." With a wave of her hand, a wall opened up, revealing a large hollowed out chamber that served at Lady Hades' current home.

At least until we retake Necron.

"Come, we have much to-" She stopped suddenly as a black snake attempted to slither away into the shadows. With an annoyed click of her tongue, Hades pointed at the snake. "Damn eavesdropper. Die!" She shouted.

With that single word, the snake started to writhe and twist in pain before vanishing into black particles.

She killed it...

With only one word...

I could only blink in awe at the power of my Lady as she ushered me into the room, the wall closing behind us and separating the two of us from the rest of Necron.

Once things finally settled down, the small silver haired girl snapped and a purple light illuminated the chamber and Lady Hades sat on her bed.

"So this is our current home?" I asked to confirm my thoughts on the whole situation.

Mistress simply nodded, removing pieces of her armor and setting them aside in a pile. "Until we reclaim the Palace of Spirits, it is. Before we can make a move on the traitor, Abraxas, we need to get you powerful enough to take on a God." She said in a monotone as she finally stripped herself down to her purple leotard.

"Didn't you make me powerful enough already with your Gift?" I asked, sitting on the stone floor, watching my mistress.

Hades sighed and shook her head. "No. What my Gift did was unlock the near infinite potential within you. Currently, you are as powerful as you were in life. You are not yet strong enough to take on Abraxas and Thanatos. I plan to fix this." She finished, laying down on her bed.

"Thanatos? You mean the God of Death? He's part of this?" I asked, caught off guard by this new information.

"Part of it? He helped Abraxas kick me out. Hell, he's been after my throne for centuries." Hades replied with a snort. "I wouldn't be surprised if Thanatos tries betraying Abraxas if the opportunity arises." She chuckled with a small smirk. "Either way, we'll discuss further details later. For now, I'm tired and I must sort out what our next steps will be."

"As you wish, my Lady." I simply replied, uncertain of what to do next.

"I recommend that you get some rest as well, Malik." Hades said, her eyes shut.

"Where would I..?" I blinked, looking around for a separate bed.

"Come, sleep with me." Lady Hades opened one eye and giggled at my blank stare. "Or is a Goddess' touch too much so soon?" She teased with a chuckle.

Swallowing hard, I sighed and joined Hades in bed with her. Giggling at my reluctance and deep blush, the small woman snuggled up to me and closed her eyes again.

"You seem nervous around women. Don't worry. I plan to fix this in time." She whispered before drifting off into sleep.

Since I was dead, I had no need to sleep...

So I was perfectly aware of her body touching mine...

The entire time...

For several 'days', Lady Hades had me committed to memorizing the backways and secret tunnel throughout Necron. After days of exploring the realm, my mistress finally announced that it was time for me to get stronger.

"Are you finally going to teach me Necromancy, my lady?" I asked, curiously.

"Not yet. Before necromancy, we need to teach you magic." She replied, still relaxed on her bed.

I tilted my head curiously.

"While you were alive, you did a decent job as a Magician while being self taught, but your grasp on magic is severely lacking. In fact, it's a miracle that you didn't blow yourself up." She answered bluntly, causing me to frown a bit.

"So, before we can even think about me teaching you Necromancy, we need to properly teach you magic to it's most fundamental level. I'm not going to teach you myself, but I brought in a specialist who is loyal to our cause." Lady Hades explained, rising up and stretching her back like a cat.

With a snap of her fingers, a black haired man stepped from the shadows. He had a pair of round glasses on and sharp facial features. He wore a black cloak and gray clothes underneath.

"You called, my lady?" The man asked Hades with a reverent bow.

"I have. Malik, I would like to introduce you to the one and only, Johann Georg Faust. He will be you instructor in the study of magic. Faust, teach my champion everything you know."

"As you wish, my lady." Faust answered with a nod.

Lady Hades then turned to me again.

"In addition to magic, you will be taught how to fight with a sword. To defeat Thanatos, you must master both sword combat and magic." Hades announced.

"What about Abraxas?" I asked.

Hades' eyes glowed a dangerous yellow. "Leave that traitor to me. Your primary concern will be the Death God. While I deal with Abraxas, you will face Thanatos. Until then, we stick to the shadows, preparing behind their backs. In addition..."

She whirled around angrily and killed another black snake trying to slither back into the darkness.

"...keep an careful eye on any outside eavesdroppers." She growled in frustration.

Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself and continued her explanation.

"As for your combat instructor..." She turned to her side. "Achilles!"

A huge mountain of a man stepped out from the shadows, towering over both Faust and Lady Hades. He wore a full set of ancient golden Greek armor.

The man knelt before Lady Hades. "I am at your command, mistress." He simply replied.

"Malik, these historical figures of the ages will teach you to succeed where they failed. Learn from them, take on their wisdom and shape yourself into a being worthy of the title "Champion of Hades"." She declared, fitting her armor on.

She was going somewhere.

"I have...personal business to attend to." She walked to the room's entrance. "Faust, Achilles, I leave my champion to you both."

The two servants bowed as she left and then turned to me.

I gulped anxiously as their presences towered over me.

...This is going to be painful.

A/N: Hello, hello. I'm back.

Now, we get into the meat of the story.

Hades explains her situation to Malik, and we'll be getting into his training with Faust and Achilles next chapter.

Once Malik masters magic and swordplay, that's when the fun begins.

It should be pretty obvious what the black snakes are, but if you don't get it, it'll be addressed in the future.

For the harem, I can tell you, since Malik will be able to raise the dead, anyone is up for grabs.

Hell, we can genderbend if we want.

I don't plan on Malik's girls instantly fall in love with him on the spot, the dude's going to have to earn his harem.

With that said, I'm taking any and all suggestions into consideration (Within reason)

And no, it won't be considered necrophillia, as it'll make more sense once Hades has her throne back

Don't forget to review and give input.
