"Uhh... Mom, Dad, I had the weirdest dream ever," said Yuki.
"Well I'm not your mom or your dad... but what was your dream?" asked Rin.
"Uwaaaa!" screamed Yuki. "Who...what...where...am I?"
"Well I'm Rin... I don't know what... and you're part of a computer program. Does that answer all of your questions?"
"Wa... ba... da... ra..." stuttered Yuki."
"Yes, no, maybe so?" said Rin.
Yuki got up she rubbed her eyes. "Oh, I remember, she said. "What time is it?"
"About noon," said Rin.
"What!?" said Yuki.
"Well you were drinking..."
"I was drinking!?" shouted Yuki.
"You were drinking soda and the caffeine kept you up really late."
Meanwhile at the Kaai residence... "WHERE IS SHE!? WHERE DID SHE GO!? I CAN'T FIND HER ANY WHERE! IS SHE DEAD!? LAST TIME I SAW HER SHE WAS IN HER ROOM! HER DOOR IS STILL LOCKED! DID SHE COMMIT SUICIDE!?"
"I know what would cheer you up: a summer festival!" said Rin.
"But it's the middle of winter," said Yuki.
"I don't care!" said Rin.
At the summer festival, Yuki had the best time she had ever had in her whole lifetime.
"That was really fun, but I was thinking it would be nice to give my parents a letter," said Yuki.
"Saying what?" asked Rin.
"Well it would say..." Yuki whispered to Rin.
"Oh, I wonder if that would work..."
"Well if it doesn't, then it really doesn't matter. At least they'll know I'm not dead."
That night, Yuki snuck into her house and left the note on her parents' bed without a sound and left. Later the next morning, her parents found the note. They opened it and smiled. They read it over and over again till they finally understood what to do.
