Kimiko's POV
The darkness outside amazed me as I stared out the window of my office on the upper floors it was morning before the sun had risen and I could feel the excitement building up within me. Last night the blue pin cushion, Sonic, left the flower girl, Amy, in the middle of the beach waiting for him. Today he will get pay back for it. It never ceased to amuse me watching him go through hell and high water. I know what it looks like, like I'm a bitch, right? Good, cause I am. I got up from my chair and woke up Saki, my Great Dane sleeping on the floor, in the process. He followed me on the way to wake up the butler, maid and chef that worked for me. When I was a child my parents abandon me in this estate. I was raised and even named by my elder brother; he had an obsession with the Japanese culture hence the name 'Kimiko'. He passed away when I was three years old after that I emancipated myself from my parents. I was born with the ability to use 95% of my brain while most human can only use 15%. The fools of my parents tried to rid of me chemically when I was in the womb yet, it back fired and I now have the estate they use to own. I am the director and head scientist to a federal group called the Mercenary and Military Intelligence Agency, or the MMIA many of my mercenaries are from other worlds. I thought, I would be able to use the newly found group as a new set of magical mercenaries but, to my disappointment they neither killed nor have magical powers. They used to have powers that they lost when they got transformed into humans. My scientist and I have been trying to find an entrance into their world to allow them to return but, the recent attempts have no anvil. I have been letting Sonic and his group of friends stay here until I get them back to their original form or world. After I awoke the service, the chef began to make breakfast for everyone who had still been sleeping in their bedrooms. The house was rather big and served as headquarters for the agency separately from hosing. My office was near the agency on the center and eastside of the house. There was an entrance on the Westside of the estate for those who lived in the housing area. I restricted them from going to the center and eastside; I didn't want them to bother my mercenaries. They were also restricted to go to the two lower basement levels, where the lab and morgue was located. I had the garage located near the housing area turned into a work space for the tinkering fox. The far back of the first floor was turned into a concert hall with a café nearby this was the only area they were allowed to enter where my agents also spent time in, though they were not allowed to interact with them. As the sun began to raise one of the animals made her way down, Blaze. Me and Saki had already sat down and where already eating our tenth serving of breakfast. She sat down and fixed herself one plate what kind of breakfast is that.
"So did Sonic come home after Silver picked Amy up?" she asked the elegance she carried with her displayed in her voice

"Yeah, the dimwit is still sleeping in his room. He is so-…" I was cut off by a loud crash that came from up stairs.

"What was that?" Blaze asked me her shock shone on her usually calm face. Damn they better have not broken anything. I got up from my set to cheek what had happened.
"SONIC! I WILL KILL YOU! DO YOU HEAR ME?" I overheard Amy yell.

'Yes, nothing in this house will compare to Sonic getting beat up by Miss Amy Rose. Ha-ha-ha' I thought as I went up to the second floor and made my way to Sonic's room as quickly as possible with Saki and the cat following shortly behind me. I had figured Amy would be pissed but man was she really going to tear him limb from limb. With all the noise you would figure everyone would get up and see what was going on, but no they all stayed fast asleep.
Blaze's POV
Amy almost put the poor boy in a coma. Kimiko of course had been so proud of her just because she hurt him. That girl had such malicious personality I had no idea how those whom worked for her could handle it. She carried no sympathy and cared little for those around her though she did show small amounts of a cruel kindness, as she would allow us to make use of her home whilst she found a way to return us to our home. Amy had cooled down after hurting Sonic and can down stairs. We all sat down to eat it was very quit though; well all except for Kimiko who would have laughed her head off if it were physically possible. Soon one by one everyone came down stairs, Marine, Cream and Cheese, Tails, and Knuckles, to eat as well. It took a while but then Silver came down stairs too. He was shirtless as usual; all he was wearing was sleep pants. I looked over to Marine who had started to blush like mad. AH! Did I mention that Marine had an overwhelming crush on Silver? I wasn't surprised that a young girl would have a crush on an older male; I was surprised that the young girl had a crush on someone as naive and oblivious as my best friend, Silver. This statement wasn't always true though she used to dislike him, now she likes him for some odd reason. I turned to Amy as well and I noticed she had been blushing also, but why Amy did not like Silver. I guess any girl would blush if a man walked in shirtless. Wait am I blushing too? Silver sat down next to me and just simply stared at his plate.
"Amy," Sonic said out of the clear blue "I was wondering if, to make up for what I did, I'll take you out on a real date." he finished. What a surprise I did not expect that from Sonic.
"No" came Amy's response. Correction I did not expect that. We all turned our heads to Amy. My sympathy for the blue-haired one grew deeper.

"What? Why not, Amy?" Sonic expressed his shock.

"Because Sonic the Hedgehog you left me stranded there at the each without a care in the world and Silver was the one who went to get, that's why Sonic I'm going out with him tonight!" Amy declared with a nod.

"Excuse me!" Silver said jumping up from his set. Everyone else was paralyzed unable to move an inch for the new announcement Amy made put us all in shock. Marine's face went from the little girl blusher to a blank sheet of paper. No one, not even Kimiko expected it.
"Ah-Ha so something did happen between you two on the way home!" She finally stood up and blurted out firmly pointing her index finger at Silver

"Ha-ha I knew it all along." Her shaped voice cackled.

"NOTING HAPPENED!" Silver responded angrily at her. Amy made her way around the table pulling on Silver's arm. Silver, whom was more absorbed in his shock and anger, never noticed until Amy had him at the frame of the door. He tried his best to stay but with Amy's strength she had no problem tugging him out. The silence in the room was almost deafening. This was a very strange turn of events.

"Did he just yell at me?" Kimiko's voice tore through the silence; I was amused that his yelling was the only thing in this strange play that got to her.

Marine's PVO
No, No, NO! How could Amy do that to me? Why would she do that? I stood up my eyes blank my body stiff. Out of pure shock I made my way up the stairs. Each step was larger than the first and I had to stop myself from runnin' to my room with tears in my eye.
"Yo, Marine hold up." Kimiko yelled at me to stop. I wanted to stop for her but I felt me feet just move themselves to my room. Up the stairs and around the corner I slammed the door to my room. The tears began to crash through my eyes. It hurt me so much just to think of Amy havin Silver. It hurt so much; I loved him so much I could die from it. Then Amy just up and took him away from me it hurt so bad. I lay in me bed crying wish I could anything to just get that off me mind. A knock on the door seemed to be that anything. Tails came walkin' in with a smile on his face.

"Hey Marine." He said gently.

"Ya know I kinda know how you fell. A couple years ago before I meet you I liked this girl, Cosmo, one day she died we had so many problems that day and she sacrificed herself to protect me and the others. It was the hardest day of my life since I was the one who had to pull the trigger that would end up killing her. I didn't want to do it, but I did." He gave me a short explanation of a love tragedy in his life.

"How much did ya love her mate, really?" I asked hesitantly

"With all my heart!" He exclaimed a little insulted.

"If ya did that much then why'd ya do it?" I asked now confused.

"Because it was the right thing to do." He said his voice wavered.

"Mate if ya really love someone so much you'd give your life and the world's just to let them live theirs. To have them smile. I know it'd be a hard choose between them you and the world but in the end you'd give everything to them just to see them exist just a bit longer than anyone says that is what love is to me and that's what I want for Silver" I turned ta Tails with tears fallin' from me eyes and a smile on my face. He smiled back at me.

"That's just it though, Marine. I went through with that bared the pain of it and saved the world because that's what made her happy and that's what she wanted me to do." He said patting my back to calm me down. I smiled back at him. That was very comforting.
