date night, a pertide (and brason) story...
percy's POV
"coming honey!" I yell out, me and my date are about to go out. "do you want to double date, or go alone?" I ask, double date is her answer. "ok, ill call jason and bricky." bricky is jason's girlfriend, don't ask. my girlfriend, the lovely inky, is a pen. i seem much more in her then other people seem to. "hey bro" i say, picking up the phone. "just wanted to ask if you and bricky are wanting to come on a double date with us?" "sure bro, why not? [come on, let's go, percy is inviting us on a date night!]" i hear jason talk to his girl in the background. "see you there" is say, hanging up.
inky and I go to the restaurant and who do we see? piper and annabeth, making out infront of their uncomfortable waiter. "are you going to order?..." i hear him say. "hey, annabeth" i call out. "i see you've moved on" "yeah, piper and I wanted to thank you boys for dating each other and leaving us together" annabeth says. "um, jason and I aren't dating" i say. "inky and I are" "that's cute percy, pretending to date riptide like that, and i bet jason is with a stapler. or is he dating that brick now?" piper says to me. just then jason walked over with bricky.
we eat dinner, but we don't want the fun to end. "what about a movie?" i say to the group. "sure" jason says. we go into the theater and buy 4 tickets for "mad max and the labyrinth 3" {A/U i don't know if thats a real movie, i just made up the name} when we get to the ticket man, he rips off 2 and then lets us in. "what about bricky and inky?" jason says. "what?" the guy stammers "out dates, duh" i say, a little offended. "um, the brick and pen are free" he says, looking weirded out. i feel offended, this guy was acting like these girls were just inanimate objects! i wanted to fight him, but jason held me back. "its not worth it man, if they don't understand, they never will"
as we watch the movie bricky has a stone cold face, but inky is terrified. by the end of the movie she has covered me with ink and tears. "thanks for the night out" jason says. "next one's on us" they drive away in their car. inky and i walk home under the moonlight. "i love you inky" i say, like every time, this leaves her so touched she says nothing, and lets me kiss her under the stars...
