Dean twisted at the mirror to see the deep grazes along his shoulder. Blood oozed lazily, but the whole area felt oddly numb. He untwisted the peroxide cap and poured over his shoulder, coating his back. He watched, rather detached, as the red lines started to bubble yellow and the clear liquid ran red rivulets down to his waistband.
Suddenly sensation returned. Dean's breath caught, stolen by the searing pain, just as John pushed into the room.
John caught his biceps and lowered him to the toilet seat, bending his head low. "I see you're ready to get started, kiddo."
