Ciel walked around the little town looking for anything resembling a music shop of some sort. Her white dress, a different one from the one the was ripped, swayed as a gust of wind passed by. Seeing no music shop she turned around heading back to Lusic's house. The old woman would be making treats for the kids around this time. The pounding of feet caught the ears of everyone in the street. Ciel turned around wondering where the sound was coming from. Kids appeared down the road screaming and crying as they ran. Others started running away too screaming for their life. Ciel went wide eyed as horses with large men and weapons turned the corner. Picking up her dress she ran towards the house she was staying at for the time being.
A horse skid in front of her making her come to an abrupt stop before turning around and going in another direction. Going into an alley dodging all the boxes and trash that had been put there over the years the Italian woman finally heard the alarm bell that informed the people who had not see the men on the horses they were here. Looking back over her shoulder she saw the man was still following her as the horse just jumped over anything that was in its way. Running on top of crates that were luckily stack in a stair case fashion she jumped from the highest one only to almost slip off the roof she had just gotten on to. From the roof Ciel could see the damage that was caused in the little amount of time. Houses had started to catch on fire along with wagons and toys that were left in the street.
Women who had gotten caught were thrown on the back of horses tied up screaming for their lives. Hearing a snap the white haired woman turned to see the man who had been following her climbing onto the roof. "You are persistent." She said before moving as quickly as possibly across the roof and jumping onto the next.
"Come back here." The man yelled. Over my dead body, Ciel thought but then realizing that could be arranged quickly.
Stuck in her thoughts the harpist jumped to the next roof but missed it grabbing onto the edge of the roof. Hanging for dear life the woman struggled to pull herself up onto the roof. The man who had followed her along the roofs jumped onto the roof she was currently trying to pull herself onto. "It seems mio caro needs some help." Grabbing her wrists he pulled her up easily and held her a few inches off the roof. "Your hair will go for a beautiful price." Thrashing about Ciel kicked the man in the stomach a couple of times but the action did nothing.
Whistling another man on horse rode up along the side of the building. Tossing her down the man roughly caught her. Screaming in anger, and without her knowledge, Ciel's fingers tips were consumed by small gray flames. Going to slap the man in the face Ciel's other hand touched the horses bare skin. The man screamed in pain as three large marks appeared on his cheek bleeding heavily. The horse screeched going onto its hind legs knocking the two Italian's to the ground before running off. Getting off the ground quickly the brown eyed woman sprinted through the ally onto a road she was unfamiliar with. Spinning around she looked for anybody who had followed her. Gripping her dress with both hands she prayed the flames would go out. Jogging down the dirt road the harpist looked for a safe place to hide. But most of the buildings were burnt down and there were no people in sight.
Thrown to the ground as she was tackled from the side Ciel screamed in pain as her arm roughly hit the ground. The man whom she had scratched in the face glared down at her with a heated look. "Nowhere to go now darling." Grabbing her hair roughly, like the man who had chased her along the roofs, he pulled her to her feet. "Look what you did to my face."
"It sure has given you a certain glow." She commented stealing a glance at her still flame covered fingers knowing they had been the cause of the mans injured cheek. A hand flew across her face leaving her own cheek red. Noticing her fingers the man let go of her hair and taking hold of her wrist.
"You're Vongola."
"Excuse me." His evil grin causes a shiver to course through her body. Dragging her back to the main street, Ciel struggled against the man's grip knowing the misunderstanding of her being Vongola was a life and death mistake. The trip only took a minute or two before she was suddenly surrounded by men of all shapes and sizes. Their smiles ranging from lewd to devilish made her jerk from any sudden motion anyone had caused. The flames would not extinguish for someone unknown reason to her. Screams came from not too far away making her wonder who had been murdered this time. It was a male, judging from the masculine tone of the scream. But who had enough power to kill another man. Surely not one of these country men or women.
A grab at her arm brought her out of her thoughts. Suddenly everyone had reached for her grabbing anything they could. Ciel's mind started to blank as she crouched down placing her hands over her head to protect her fragile skull. She heard the ripping of her dress and felt the pain of her hair getting pulled. The thought of dying in such a way made her scared. To die at the hands of these robbers was a sad way to go. Tears cascaded down the Italian woman's cheeks knowing this would probably be her last stand. And here she had hope it would be playing her beloved instrument.
"Please stop please." She begged her cries reaching nobody. A small yelp fell from her lips as nails dug into her arm before pulling back leaving several bloody marks in its path. "I-I don't want to die." She whispered to herself. Bringing her hands down to shield her face from dirt. The gray blaze licked her face giving her slight warmth as her body started to freeze. The men continued their assault on her screaming about 'Vongola' and 'Mafia'. These savages were going to kill her. What a pity that seemed. She couldn't die at times like this. A small glimpse of determination sparked within her as the tears continued to flow.
"Let me go." She yelled pushing one of the men away. Some laughed while others backed away at the sudden outburst.
"I always did like a feisty woman." The tallest of them said reaching down to grasp her arm.
Something snapped inside her as she saw the man reach for her. "Stop it." Ciel screamed at the top of her lungs shutting her eyes tightly. Shrieks of terror caused her to open her eyes. The man was jolting around on the ground trying to extinguish the gray fire that was devouring him. Quickly scrambling to stand up she ran from the group looking back as one of the men grabbed the gun off their belt pointing it at her. Colliding with something soft warmth engulfed her while black consumed her vision as the gun went off. No pain coursed through her as she smelt expensive cologne. Ciel laid sideways in her saviors hold. One knee was placed under hers while the other was rested against her lower back as an arm was wrapped around her shoulders to keep her steady.
Whatever concealed them dropped as the woman stared into affectionate orange eyes. "Stranger?"
Giotto chuckled at the wounded woman as his cloud guardian, who had been on the hunt for the pillagers for a while, dealt with them. Taking strands of white hair he let them slip through his fingers before catching the ends. Gray flames in cased the ends as G. appeared beside his boss. Brown eyes turned gray stared into orange ones with fear. The flame on his forehead made her cautious but calmed her as a finger was placed on her own forehead.
Suddenly feeling extremely tired her eyes began to close. Falling limp in Vongola's arm Giotto pulled down the now mid-thigh dress to hopefully cover more and leave the woman her pride. The flames still continued to exist after the host fell unconscious.
Lifting the woman off the ground the two Vongolians traveled back to base.
Eyes fluttered open only to close quickly at the aggressiveness of the sun. Turning over the woman on the bed groaned in pain before using a hand to push herself up. Long white hair fell over her shoulders as the blanket clumped up around her waist. Place a hand on her face she sighed grunting in pain that radiated from her back. Facing the sun again brown eyes looked out the window seeing a rainbow high in the sky. Small rain drops covered the window showing signs of a previous shower. "I...want to write a song." She whispered to herself slipping out of the bed her long white dress trembled down in waves. Stumbling to the door she grasps the handle curious as to why her back was the only thing hurting.
The handle twisted on its own and Ciel backed away as a black haired man entered the room in priest clothing with a red scarf around his neck. He looked at her quiet shocked before smiling kindly to her. "I didn't think you'd be up so soon. My name is Knuckles and I'm Vongola's Sun guardian."
"You don't look like the fighting type."
His honey colored eyes twinkled before they closed. "I don't fight anymore. I give my life to god."
"You're a Christian."
"To be more precise I am a Catholic."Leading her back over to the bed he sat her down before handing her a bottle filled with a white substance. Running her hands over the object she looked up at him questionably. "This will help with the pain. You should rest up some more before venturing around the mansion. I would also like to warn you not to talk with any of the other members that you do not know. Some haven't had a woman in a long time." And with that he walked out of the room leaving a small book on the bed beside her.
Running a hand through her hair she sighed in content. "What mansion." She asked herself. Abruptly her eyes opened in realization.
Sun Guardian + Mansion + Members =...
"I'm in Vongola." The door slammed open as she bolted down the hallway moving pass multiple mafia members while ignoring the throbbing coming from her back. Jogging down the stairs with a hand on the railing she heard yelling from behind her. A hand caught her wrist pulling her back before she could continue to the next step.
A knock came to oak doors before they opened allowing the red head to slide into the office. "Primo." Said man looked up from his work only to smile at his friend.
"Is there something wrong G." He asked standing up from his chair walking around the large desk. G. ran a hand through his shaggy hair as red eyes connected with orange.
"Our little guest is causing a ruckus downstairs." Vongola Don chuckled before grabbing his cloak and securing it around himself. Walking down the hallway the subordinates stepped to the side letting them pass through only to follow them quickly after. Shouts were heard and the blond man sighed knowing who the other troublemaker was. Coming to the top of the stairs a crowd block the fight from view. Giving a small cough the blockade separated allowing the two guardians through. "You've got to be kidding me." G. said rubbing his temple.
"Lampo." Giotto said warily. The green haired man was crouched down holding his head as the fuming woman stood hovering over him.
"Primo this crazy woman hit me."
"What are you five?" She hissed at the boy.
He looked up at her tears at the corner of his eyes. "What are you fifty?" Another hit to the back of the head caused to the tears to finally fall. His wails sounded through the whole Vongola as Ciel crossed her arms turning her head away from Giotto's accusing stare.
"Stop being a wimp I didn't hit you that hard."
"Stop whining brat." G. said lighting a cigarette.
Knuckles appeared at the bottom of the stairs with Ugetsu. "My, what happened here?" The Japanese man asked walking up the stairs placing a hand on Lampo's back causing the crying to stop. A finger was pointed at the woman and she scowled flinging her hair over her shoulder.
"This is why I hate kids."
"I'm fifteen."
"Still a child in my eyes."
"Still an ugly dress in mine."
The harpist launched at the teen but was held back by the storm guardians' quick movements. Giving a shriek in pain the red head dropped her as she grasped her back in pain. Forehead placed on the cool railing she took a few deep breaths. The Boss gave a tired smile before nodding to G. "We'll take about this situation in my office." The teen and the woman were grasped by the arm and dragged back up the stairs by the right hand man. Ugetsu followed after as Knuckles went back to what he had been up to.
Ciel struggled before huffing giving up. "Disrespectful men." She murmured to herself.
I apoligize for any spelling mistakes.
And also for not posting in a while. I want every chapter to be roughly 2,100 to 3,500 words.
