CHAPTER TWO: THE DEMON OF THE HAIR
Prince: Okay, it's finished. The second chapter of my newest story. I feel a bit biased against it, like some of the grammar is bad. I revised some of it but there's only so much I can do. There's not really much to talk about if I do this after writing out the chapter. So . . . I'm going back to writing my author's notes before starting on the actual story and then my concluding note afterward. This just feels weird.
CHAPTER START
Naruto laid on the branch of a tree staring at his right hand. It felt just like his regular arm, despite what Kagome had told him what happened during that battle with Lady Centipede. "Oh man," he grumbled, "Nee-san is going to kill me." Maybe he could wrap it up and draw her attention away from it somehow. He could feel what felt like bone and muscle underneath its extremely pale skin. But that was probably to keep up appearances. "Not to mention keep me in my room for the rest of my life." He remembered what had happened just yesterday: some bird demon tried to still the jewel from Kagome but was stopped by Riko. It ran away before coming back after consuming the heart of a human bandit who then proceeded to slaughter his own men trying to get to Kagome and the jewel.
Naruto hadn't felt as mad as when he sliced into that guy's neck, except maybe with Lady Centipede. But even then his memory was a bit hazy. The bird tried to get away but Kagome killed it by using its cutoff talon like a homing missile and shattering the jewel into million upon billions of little shards. After a few hours of puking after realizing he killed a human being (though not really as the guy was pretty much already dead), Naruto felt that he should try to not remember what happened at all. Now, he was just staring at his new arm.
"I know that it's a prosthetic but it looks and feels so real." All Naruto needed to do was darken it enough to where it matched his skin tone. The sound of rustling caught his attention. Naruto turned towards the source to see Inu Riko rush off towards where he knew Kagome was taking a bath. Also noting that Kagome wasn't the type to have anyone watch her bathing (after accidentally walking in on her bath . . . to her knowledge) he decided to sneak behind her.
"Damn she's fast up in the trees," Naruto gasped. He was nearly out of breath from running on the ground. However, closing his eyes reminded him of the dream Naruto tree-hopping just like the half-demon before him. Naruto crouched his legs and concentrated, feeling a pressure build up in his legs like a shaken bottle of Coke. He launched forward at amazing speeds, landing on a tree branch almost as easily as taking a step forward . . . for a child walking for about a week.
Thankfully the branch was thick enough for his geta to grab a hold. He raced through the trees with a smile on his face. Naruto couldn't wait to show Kagome and Riko what he could do. Deciding to show off, he grabbed a tree limb just in front of him and spun before releasing it. The slingshot move catapulted Naruto forwards faster than he could react, depositing him into a small lake.
"Ow," he groaned. His clothes that Kaede had given him were wet enough to cling to his body. "Dammit," he groaned. "It's going to take forever before I can dry them." And his boxers were wet. There was no way he was wearing a fundoshi like he saw the other men wear under their clothes. His eyes turned away from his clothing to the beauty in the lake.
Her school outfit did things for her body than her casual attire did. However, the best suit for her was her birthday suit. She didn't have big breasts, but that worked for her. With a high B- low C-cup capped with strawberry-pink nipples, Kagome Higurashi was a beauty words couldn't describe. His eyes traveled down to her hips, where most of her charm laid. If Naruto wanted to (and Kagome was willing), he would make sure that the whole world would be birthed from those hips. Of course, he was not an ass-man, more like an opportune pervert.
The trip to the well was a rather awkward one. Naruto had received a shiner for that stunt at the watering hole. Kagome, dressed up in a priestess's attire (a white haori with red hakama pants), walked in front of him. Her attitude was rather rotten, but thanks to a good cause. "It wasn't my fault," Naruto said, holding his black eye. "I didn't realize that you were taking a bath."
"I told you that I was about five times!" she yelled back. "Why did you still decide to go peek? Not only that but you just sat there and stared at me!" Of course, that inflated her pride, but it wasn't the major point. Naruto wanted to point out that she didn't seem upset that he stared at her for an enormous quantity of time. But it wasn't the time and place.
Unfortunately, something went off in his head. He could feel something like a cold sensation off his back, like someone was looking at him. 'Where is it?' he asked himself. 'I can feel it. The killing intent seems to be flowing.' But he couldn't place the exact location.
While in his little world, Naruto didn't notice Kagome checking out the well where they had both appeared. "I wonder if we can get back home using this," she said to herself. "Naruto could just stay here and rot for all I care." She had learned its name from Kaede. It was called the Bone Eater Well, due to the fact that the remains of demons were cast inside. They would vanish somehow. She stepped back.
At the bottom was Lady Centipede's corpse, whose body was nothing but bones now due to the ravens picking at it. She could see the headless torso where Naruto in his rage had crushed the demon's head. Looking back at the young man, who in turn was searching for the origin of that feeling, she wondered how exactly he was able to defeat a demon. And how was he not one himself. That feeling she had when he was covered in that aura felt twice as bad as when Riko had tried to attack her.
And it was even more intense than the fear she felt at Lady Centipede.
A bird flew in the air a bit higher than the two. However, before it could even come close, it was rendered into chunks by something sharp. As Kagome tried to leap away, she cut her cheek on something. Naruto would've rushed to her side but he could feel that it wouldn't do. 'I'd just end up like that bird,' he thought to himself. The light shimmered off little
"So, you two could see them," a feminine voice spoke. Naruto turned his eyes towards the newcomer, too worried that he may end up cutting himself on a hair to do anything. He wouldn't have to worry about that for long though. What went through his mind wasn't another dream of him, but a memory of someone he was associated with. Someone called a jinchuriki.
"Hiruma," Naruto's body produced an alkaline-like substance that burned away the hair surrounding him. "How did he get out of my Cage of Hair?" Yura asked, watching as Naruto walked through the hair while it was nothing. Kagome too was surprised. So surprised really that she didn't realize Naruto had gotten to her.
He shut off the Leech Gap ability before it burned her and faced their attacker. "Who are you?" The woman laughed into her hand. "It really shouldn't matter," she told him. "You're dead anyway." Naruto rolled his eyes. "That line was said by every bad guy in a movie ever." The young woman glared at the boy before her. "You're lucky your hair color is so rare that it would hurt me that it once lived on something so hideous." Naruto growled before feeling that he should escape into the well.
"You do know that this won't work, right?" Kagome asked. "She's just going to be waiting for us when we get out."
"Do you want to get sliced up by those hairs?" Naruto asked. "I don't. Besides, it's not like she's going to be able to get us." The jewel fragment was safely on Kagome. Well, Naruto hoped it was on the girl. He didn't mind if the bones jabbed him . . . much.
"Kagome!" The sounds of Kagome's family calling out for their daughter caused the young woman to open her eyes. She looked around before finding herself in the well, surrounded by the darkness. Kagome could feel someone holding her close to him, his muscled chest shielding her line of sight. She could see from what visible light surrounded them that it was Naruto, who held a pained look on his face.
"That woman threw her naginata," he grunted. "Who the hell does that?" Kagome turned him around to show that it was embedded in his back. "Are you okay?" she worriedly asked. "Should I pull it out?" Under normal circumstances someone would be in severe pain if not dead, but Naruto was in serious pain, but he would live. Reaching one hand behind him, Naruto grunted as he pulled the weapon out of his spine.
"I'm fine," he told her finally. "I just need to rest for a few minutes." He blacked out after placing the girl on her butt, his head resting on the girl's crotch.
WITH INU RIKO
"Damn bitch," Riko growled as she leaped through the trees. "I can't smell them anymore." Their scent ended at the well but after that she lost the trail. But, she could smell nearly fresh blood near there. It smelled like Kagome's blood mostly, with specks of Naruto's mixed in. But there also was this weird metallic smell that didn't seem natural.
Since she found no trace of them, the half-demon girl walked back to the village. Riko dodged a knife thrown at her by a young woman. "Since when could humans fly?" she asked, watching as multiple women from the village rose into the air. Each woman brandished some kind of blade.
She dodged them easily before coming to a stop in front of Kaede. "Inu Riko, do not harm the villagers," she instructed as she lay on the ground. It seemed that she had been wounded a few minutes ago by the very woman they were fighting now. "They are only being manipulated by a hair demon." Riko snorted. "Like I care about the villagers," she grumbled. "They could all die for what it's worth."
"If ye do allow them to die, then I am sure when Naruto-san gets back he will be sorely disappointed in you." Riko paused for a bit, getting a mental smirk from the older woman. 'I knew that would stop her somehow.' Naruto and the young half-demon (who was frozen in time so she was still about 15/16 mentally) were kind of connected. She somehow got attached to him, though this didn't stop her from punching his lights out every time he accidentally copped a feel.
"Tsk. He's gone," Riko grumbled. "He won't care if a few villagers are killed when I'm defending myself." But then again it was against people with much less strength than she. How she hated that she was weak around him.
"They are no more than puppets," Kaede advised. Inu Riko couldn't attack them, but she could attack the manipulator. Now, where to find her? "Can ye not see the hairs?" No, she couldn't. But she could feel that they were trying to wrap her up. So grabbing onto a set of something, she grabbed the hair before pulling.
Even as it was tight for a second, the string seemed to grow, making Riko fall backwards. "Damn," she grumbled. However, more wrapped around her neck, keeping her in place. "Now I'll take your neck," the woman who attacked Naruto and Kagome smirked. Riko fought back, thankful that she was half demon or that attack would have sliced her head off.
The girl grabbed Kaede and left. After finally losing the women somewhere in the forest, she laid the old woman down. Kaede had closed her eyes like she was asleep, though Riko saw it like she had finally kicked the bucket and was digging a hole for her. "I'm not dead yet," the old woman growled. "I'm just resting from my wounds."
"Oh. Then don't think of it as burying you. Think of it as hiding your presence from her." Kaede would've glared at her if she had the energy to. "Find Naruto and Kagome quick. I fear if she gets a hand on another shard she'll be nigh unstoppable." Riko grunted as she ran back to the well. Maybe she could find another clue as to where they are.
BACK TO NARUTO AND KAGOME
Naruto didn't know what it was but he felt more . . . in tune with everything around him. He could feel everything around him. Everyone seemed to be hurting in some way. The chills assaulted his body as each negative emotion poured throughout the city of Tokyo.
"Hey, kid." Naruto turned his attention towards an older man (near his middle age). He had long spiky white hair that was tied up from the base of his skull to the ground. He wore what the stereotypical charm peddler would wear. Except with expensive looking shades. "You look like you're having a bit of trouble." His face was a bit muscular, matching his body type, with little to no wrinkles except around his eyes. On each cheek was a long line that ran from the bottom of his eyes to the bottom of his chin.
"What is it to you, old man?"
Naruto was a bit on the edge today. Almost having someone tear you into pieces using string can do that to a person. "Look at the little brat. Thinking that since he survived a trip into the past he's a badass," the man grumbled, but there was no malicious intent behind it. "Do you know of an uber-sexy man by the name of Jiraiya? The world's best sealing techniques and jutsu expert?" Naruto could tell that the man was the aforementioned Jiraiya, but his attention was turned elsewhere. Sensing negative emotions took his mind towards a newcomer. "Where's Kagome?" she asked with a growl.
"How did you get through my seals?" the middle-aged man asked. 'She had to be an extremely powerful demon to go through them that easily.' Inu Riko pulled one off her hair. "One of these weak little thin–" She was stopped when a tremendous pressure nearly knocked her down. The seal in her hand was glowing, making it hard for her to be in its presence. "What the hell?"
"Huh," JIraiya said with an interested look. "That seal should've made you drop to the ground. How are you able to resist it?"
"Something . . . this weak . . . won't stop me." Riko threw the talisman away and regained some of her lost breath. Jiraiya frowned before turning to Naruto. "Friend of yours and the Higurashi?" he asked. Naruto shrugged before answering. "If you can call her that. To me she's nothing more than someone I helped unseal from a tree."
"And I'm gonna kill him for groping me while I was still there," Riko growled. "I can't attack him though or this necklace goes ballistic. And I so want to kill him." Jiraiya just stared at the two for a while before letting out a hearty laugh. "If only I could've gotten your father to be as perverted as you." He tried to calm down but a few more chuckles found their way out. "Then maybe he and your mother could've had more kids before they kicked the bucket."
"My dad didn't die," Naruto said with a glare. "He was alive five days ago."
"Gaki, you're adopted. I should know because I was the one who put you up." Naruto stared at the man, his mouth open like he wanted to say something but it was stuck in his throat. "We'll talk more about it when you get back." Naruto wasn't planning on going back to the Edo period. Not while this man knew something about his real dad. Riko had taken the time during the conversation to drag Kagome out of the house (with little to no petting of her ears by Kagome's mother). The teenager tried her best to fight the half-demon but it was only in vain.
Before they could jump however, the well seemed to burst with hair. "Where is it all coming from?" Jiraiya's eyes seemed to move back and forth looking for the source. Kagome saw a glowing hair in the bunch before pointing it out. "Riko, cut that glowing strand right there!" she ordered. "I don't see a glowing hair."
Naruto could see what she was talking about. Well, it wasn't glowing, but he could see the hair she was pointing at. He moved, catching the strand in his left hand. Naruto felt the cut that the strand gave him and watched as his blood traveled down its length. Riko finished the strand with her claws and the tendrils in the well went limp.
"We should go. There's no telling what she's doing to the village," Naruto suggested.
"Who are you to boss me around?" Riko growled.
"Maybe someone who's cares about the people who took care of us for the last week? I don't know. It's just that I can't let someone like that destroy people who took care of us when we didn't know where to go." Naruto felt that it was his duty to protect those that needed protecting against the people that wanted to bring about certain destruction.
He honestly didn't know where that was coming from.
The half-demon grabbed him by the back of his collar and tossed him down the well. Naruto was the first to arrive on the other side, soon followed by Inu Riko and Kagome. The latter was caught in a discussion with the former, explaining who exactly their attacker was. "She said her name was Sakasa-gami no Yura or something and she was after the jewel shards. Why she still came after the three of us after she stole the Shikon jewel shard is beyond even me."
"I don't know but it has something to do with me," Naruto said without even thinking about it. "Don't you remember? When I lost my original arm to Lady Centipede?" At their nods, Naruto continued. "Well, it happened not that far afterwards. That night I met someone that called themselves Naruto Uzumaki. He said that he was the person before me in the reincarnation cycle and that there were hundreds of others but I'm the only one who has a link to the one before me." Naruto told them the story of what happened in his dream.
"So, you're the reincarnation of a powerful ninja who saved his world, but your soul crossed over multiple dimension before coming here?" Kagome asked before sighing into her hand. "If I wasn't the last in my reincarnation cycle myself I doubt I would believe you." Naruto shrugged.
"If it didn't happen to me, I wouldn't have believed it," he responded. "But since it did, I can't do anything but accept his offer."
Riko kept silent, a frown visible upon her face. "So you two are reincarnates of someone before the two of you were born," she growled. "Right now we need to worry more about that woman than some dream you had." Naruto said nothing and leapt through the trees. Kagome had spotted something and was directing the trio from Inu Riko's back. Naruto himself was jumping from tree to tree in an effort to keep up. He was matching the half-demon pace for pace, making Riko surprised that he was able to keep up.
No human could go faster than her. Nor could they jump trees like her. Naruto was an enigma, but he was going to be one that she herself cracked. Riko stopped on a dime before she started sniffing the air. Kagome was about to ask what made her stop when she caught the sight before her. Dozens of corpses missing their heads were strewn on the battlefield. Multiple were nearly cut to pieces (this scene being no more than an hour or two old) but some were in one piece (minus their heads of course). Naruto just stared at the battlefield, thinking to himself that it would've been his adoptive mother and father here, cut to pieces. Even his sister.
He looked towards Kagome to see the girl scrounging through something before coming to a stop. "I'm borrowing this," she told the headless soldier before her. Naruto just kept quiet before clasping his hands together. "If you're getting something from them, I need to get something too." He didn't know who exactly he was facing, but he knew that they needed to be stopped. So, Naruto took a katana from a samurai before swinging it around. "Do you even know how to use one of those?" Riko asked with a deadpan look. "I watched Rurouni Kenshin a lot, so something like this isn't exactly new to me." Plus, his past self was a good knife-thrower, though the knives were made for ninja.
The trio were on the move once more. It was only a few minutes until they reached a place that was undoubtedly Yura's nest. Who else crafted a gigantic ball of hair in the middle of a forest with multiple tendrils coming for you? . . . Uh oh. Naruto grabbed Kagome and dodged each attack. Riko wasn't lucky and got caught in a cocoon of hair. "Oh my," Yura's voice called out. "I knew I would catch that beautiful hair of you two again eventually. You made it so hard for me to come for you that I didn't expect you to come to me."
"Release those villagers, Yura!" Naruto ordered. "And give us back that jewel shard you stole! Neither one of those belong to you!" He felt something was off with that giant ball of hair in the background. Yura seemed to smirk before responding. "Oh? You mean like how that power of yours doesn't belong to any human?" Naruto's eyes widened.
"H-How did you know about that?"
"Not only could demons feel the presence of the Shikon no Tama being resurrected in that priestess girl, they could also feel the presence of several powerful demon gods. The power that rests within you feels so exotic, like even the great four demon lords wouldn't win against you in a head-on collision." Her attention was on Naruto, though she kept Inu Riko in her peripheral vision. "But it seems to come in and out, like a flame that somehow relights itself. It interests me how easy it is for you to hide what's inside you, though." Not to mention how he was able to burn through her hair strings. They should've decapitated him much like those warriors but Naruto burned through them with that acidic substance. No human can secrete a substance like that.
Naruto stayed silent. He didn't understand what was going on with his body. It was like he was unlocking new powers every time he moved. Speaking of new abilities: "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Naruto had learned this skill (or "jutsu" as his predecessor called his techniques) after interacting with his past self. Most of his arsenal was lost until he could learn one particular technique however. Multiple Naruto appeared on the field, enough to where someone extremely close enough to know every little mannerism he has to be confused.
"GO!" the real Naruto yelled, hidden in the crowd of clones. Each clone yelled before rushing Yura. She said nothing as multiple tendrils of hair defended her against their attack. Once the clones were destroyed (either by being swatted with the hair like whips, or by the tendrils combining together to make thicker ones that impaled the clones), they left smoke.
Naruto grabbed Riko and broke her loose, cutting up his hands before grabbing the girl. He moved through the smokescreen before setting her next to Kagome. "What do you plan on doing?" the dog half-demon growled. "I can take her on still."
"You're heavily wounded," Naruto growled back. "If I left you out there, she could pierce you through your heart or maybe decapitate you. Now, I may not like you like that but I'll be damned if I let someone I call an acquaintance die." Riko said nothing before looking away. Naruto's blue eyes held nothing but conviction, like he believed every word that exited his mouth.
". . ." Kagome was quiet about this. She knew that something inside the ball was glowing (and could pinpoint its area) but it was kind of faint. Holding up her bow (and making sure that her aim was away from the clone as they seemed to be destroyed with one hit), she notched an arrow and aimed for the nest. The arrow cut through multiple hairs and almost hit Yura before making contact with its intended target.
Yura noticed the damage that had been done to the standalone strands. Her nest spilled its insides, showing skulls entwined in hair as well as decomposing heads and freshly cut ones. Naruto had an inkling that those were the heads of the warriors they saw on the way there. 'These hairs were cut but I know there aren't that many things able to cut them. What makes this girl so special?' Yura thought to herself. Maybe it was the reason she found the jewel on the girl. She was powerful but not as powerful as the boy with golden yellow hair, nor was she as powerful as the half-demon Inu Riko. Yura held up her comb before using it on the air. Several strands of hair flew out towards Kagome before catching fire.
"How do you like my Oni-bi Gushi (Translation: Ogre Fire Hair)?" Yura stared at the flames as they caked the ground. Anything caught in the inferno was reduced to ash. Not even the bone would remain. Movement captured her eye and Yura dodged as Naruto came careening out of the fire. Riko was tucked under his arm, and a red-orange silhouette with two extended ears and two long pointed tails. 'Is he . . . a kitsune?' This was the power she wanted. This animalistic rage, this bestial instinct. Yura knew that even if she did gather all the shards of the jewel, it wouldn't be enough to even subdue Naruto at his worst.
Naruto's face was like it was last time. His whiskers were visible and deeper, his eyes blood red and slit. The only difference between this time and last time was the fact that his lips were now blacker, like he was wearing black lipstick. The inside of Yura's nest moved like a snake, aiming for the now transformed Naruto and Riko.
Naruto dropped his package on the ground, making the girl curse, and sprinted on all fours for the attacking mixture of hair and skulls. "GrrrrrRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAGH!" His yell hit the tendril like an attack, pushing it back and busting a few skulls.
No one noticed the girl slowly creeping towards a skull that to her was glowing slightly, their attention on the animal boy dodging each attack and shattering skulls. Eventually Kagome reached the skull and tried to destroy it with an arrow. Yura finally took notice and tried to stop her, only for her body to barely respond. Naruto had jumped in front of her, glaring her dead in the eyes.
One hand batted the woman away from Kagome and into the ground. She righted herself on a string of hair and dodged a ground shattering attack by Riko. Kagome broke through the skull to find a comb inside. It was giving off a faint light to her and as she readied herself to break it, Naruto stopped her. It seemed that his anger had quelled and with that anger gone so was his power.
"Are you okay?" Naruto asked, checking the girl over. Riko had given her the jacket to her outfit before they left the well. She had said it was made from a flameproof material named fire-rat fur, which also had a highly defensive attribute as well. The jacket had made sure that the girl was protected from the flames, which helped Naruto calm down knowing that Kagome was safe. Now to deal with the wayward demon coming their way.
"This comb is your main body, correct?" Naruto asked, holding it up for her to see. Yura said nothing, plotting to grab the comb and kill Naruto at the same time. He dodged a swipe before taking a chance and grabbing her blade with his prosthetic hand. It cut lightly into it, but he couldn't feel anything. "Here's the deal," he said, struggling to keep the sword away from his body. "You can be our ally and gather the other fragments with us or I can destroy the comb and you along with it."
"And why should I trust a human?"
"Why are you trying to make this person a friend?" Riko yelled. "In case you didn't notice, she's been our enemy for the past day or two."
"I agree with Riko. Are you planning on making sure this person doesn't stab us in the back for this?" Naruto turned towards Yura, who said nothing. "If she does try to kill me, I can just snap the comb," he affirmed. "But I'm giving her a choice. Leave us alone and the next time we cross paths we won't be enemies, or I could just destroy her and leave it at that." Naruto was literally showing her his back. Now he could only hope she didn't stab it.
"Tch," Yura finally murmured. "Fine. Just so long as you don't damage my comb. If it breaks, I'll haunt your thoughts until the end of time." With that, the hair dissolved like it wasn't there, leaving a mountain of skulls and heads. "Hey, Riko, do you have any pockets? I don't want to put it somewhere where it'll break."
The half-demon muttered something about how idiotic this man was for trusting someone that easily. But then again he did trust her, even if he acted like an ass around her.
'What was that red energy that I felt?' Naruto asked himself. 'I knew about it with Madame Centipede, but why is it coming up?'
"Naruto, we have to talk." A voice inside his mind called out. It sounded a lot like that man in his dreams the other night.
"EH?"
"That's twice you drew upon Kurama's powers," he heard. "I guess that means now you have to meet them." Naruto inwardly thought who. "If you keep using your powers like that, you'll shorten your lifespan. I believe it's time I formally introduce you to the nine Tailed Beasts."
CHAPTER END
Prince: After nearly a month, I finally finished the second chapter. I would like to thank all of you for following and adding my story to your favorites. Though at times (grammar-wise) I feel like I could do better. Of course, there's also the critic Thugs Bunny 009, who wrote some reviews about it that makes me feel like he didn't really read it. Like about Naruto's arm. You know that arm the canon Naruto has after his original one was blown off at the final battle with Sasuke . . . Yeah. It's basically that arm, only it's not covered in bandages . . . yet.
Kiactu: He really should have read the story more. Not to mention the guy seems to hate Naruto and love Sasuke. Prince and I have read his profile. If you're going to sound intelligent by shouting out "plot convenience" knowing that it could be explained within the next few chapters, don't. Swordslinger and I have kind of pointed this out that the guy doesn't really read the stories. He just goes through them and then try to make himself sound like he knows what he's doing. Not to mention when people put Japanese words in when they're American. I do it because it shows respect in Japan and I have a grasp of what to write. If it's an American series like Avatar the Last Airbender or Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, then I would write it as it is. But since it's not, I'm going to write it in the nation that it is in. Which is the good ole Land of the Rising Sun.
Prince: And I'm not so good with writing titles, so what? I'm actually pretty much a perfectionist. Did you know it took me at least a thousand thoughts a day before I could actually write it out?
Kiactu: Throwing out there that Prince is considering making Sasuke a supporting character if enough people decide that they want him. As for now, he's just a background character like that boy Kagome had a crush on before deciding on Inuyasha. Only, he's Naruto's mortal rival. Koga is his demon rival.
Prince: I had originally written a dream sequence for Naruto meeting canon Naruto.
