HEY HEY HEY! So I'm updating again because I'm so bored at home. Seriously, there is like nothing to do. Anyway, a little heads up! I can't decide to either have my character be a couple with Gray or Bickslow. Yes Bickslow. I think he is a great character and is not appreciated enough. I think im leaning towards the second one to be honest. ANY WAY ON WITH THE STORY! btdubs, I don't own Fairy Tail or Sailor Moon, just Rosalyn.
It's been a few weeks since I joined the guild. A few people are still fearful of me since the fight with Natsu and the argument with Juvia. Otherwise, everyone has completely accepted me. I feel bad about not being honest with everyone about who I am, but it's to protect my family and myself. I've been going on requests with everyone just to get used to being on them and to find out how they work. It's funny seeing people fuss about things that I've known since a young age. I usually go with Lucy and her team on requests, but today, I'm going with the Thunder God Tribe. Evergreen had asked me the other day to go with them, which I gladly accepted. I've gotten to know Ever pretty well since I joined. She reminds me of Amara, or Sailor Saturn. I was sitting at the bar waiting for the group to come in when my mind started to wander. I've become impatient since joining the guild. Everything and everyone reminds me of home. It's hard not to get homesick when the guild usually ends up a battle ground. Suddenly, a piece of paper ws thrusted into my face. It was Bickslow. He had his signature smile on his face, tongue out and all. I nodded back, not in the mood for games today. I gently took the paper from his hands and started reading over it. As I continued to look over it, I felt Bickslow move from behind me and sat in the empty stool next to me. He was staring at me in concern.
"What's wrong RoRo?" he asked. I sighed and looked over at him. Since I started talking to Ever, I have gotten to know all the member of the Thinder God Tribe well. Aside from Evergreen, Bickslow and I seemed to have gotten along faster than the other two. Freed was extremely formal and old fashioned, which reminded me of my father and Laxus just stared at me. Realizing that I never answered him, I just shook my head. He stared hard at me for a few minutes. Suddenly, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him into a hug.
"Not good enough for me. I can tell that something is bothering you. We have a few things to talk about later, so I'll let this go for now." He whispered in my ear gently. I shut my eyes tight and nodded my head once again, not trusting my voice to waver. He let go of me and went to get the request approved by Mira. I continued to stare off until I heard Makarov clear his throat.
"Listen up brats! Sabertooth is coming for a few days so their guild can be rebuilt. There will be no request taking until after they leave. It is not fair for you all to go off while their members cannot make money. Is that clear brats?!" he said loudly to get his point across. All through the guild you heard people groaning and complaining on how it is not fair. I sighed again and let my head drop onto the bar top. I felt someone start to rub my back as I just let my head rest there. I tilted my head to thank whoever it was and saw that it was Bickslow. I smiled weakly and got up.
"Well since we can't do jobs for a while, might as well get this talk over and done with." I said as I stood fully up. He nodded his head and led me up the stairs and to Laxus' office. He stood right in front of the door and knocked a few times. When he heard him say enter, Bickslow opened the door.
"Hey can we use your office so we can talk in private? Something is bothering Rosalyn and she won't tell me what it is." He said to Laxus who looked like he was doing some paperwork. He looked back and forth between us with a raised eyebrow. I shook my head and gave him a weak smile.
"I'm fine" I said softly, trying to convince them that my homesickness is nothing for them to worry about. He raised his eyebrow some more and nodded.
"Yeah. Make sure you get her to talk and back to normal. Her being quiet is starting to freak me out." Was all he said as he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him, I sat on the nearby chair, wanting this conversation to be over already. I waited for Bickslow to start talking, but he just kept staring at him from his seat in the adjacent chair.
"What is really bothering you? You're usually all happy and with a smile on your face. You've been out of it all day today. Don't tell me nothing because it is obviously something. I can see it in your eyes." He said softly, but sternly to me. I debated whether or not to tell him about my real life. I know I can trust him, but something is just holding me back.
"My life, my problems." I said softly, keeping my eyes down casted. I heard him sigh and also heard what sounded like ruffling of clothes. I looked up to see him taking off his helmet. My eyes widen at the new appearance he's sporting. His hair is a dark blue color while his eyes are a deep red, almost the color of blood. In the middle of his face is a tattoo of a person either dancing or walking. I fully take his face in, trying to memorize every detail about it. It's beautiful. He smiles softly when I look back into his eyes. They're mesmerizing.
"Your eyes," I start softly, "There beautiful." He smiles again as he moves closer to me. He gets close enough where I can reach his face with my hand. I hesitantly start to trace his tattoo, afraid of what he might do. He grabs my wrist and puts more pressure on his face and closes his eyes.
"You know why I always wear a mask?" he asks while I keep tracing his face. I shake my head, and then realize that he can't see me.
"No. No one ever told me." I said softly as I move my hand to start tracing random patterns on his cheeks.
"It's because of my eyes. They make people uncomfortable because of my type of magic. If I dot have my mask on, people start to stare, either at the tattoo or my eyes. I keep the mask on to hide myself, and to make people more comfortable around myself." He said softly, giving me a bit of information about his personal life. I know that it is nothing major, but I decided that he deserves to know about me, the real me.
"I'll tell you." I said softly as I let go of his face. He looks up at me as I sit on the carpeted floor with him. I sit so my legs are crossed gently at my sides, like a princess would. I look straight into his eyes as I begin to speak.
"Since I'm telling you this, no one can know. It might cause major harm to everyone here, including my family. Promise me you won't tell anyone" I said softly as I tried to keep my breathing even. When I saw him nod at me, I close my eyes and felt my magic wrap around me. I heard Bickslow gasp as I start to transform into my true self. When I feel my magic recede back into my body, I open my eyes. Looking at Bickslow, he stared wide-eyed back at me. I take a deep breath and began started to explain the entire situation to him.
"Who you met and became friends with is only a part of who I am. My name is Rosalyn, but I'm not from a different country. I'm actually from another planet, or well, star. The Sun to be exact. Each of the planets/stars has a royal family and a Sailor Scout as well. A Sailor Scout is the first born daughter of the royal family. When her powers come, she begins her training to control them. At a certain age, she is sworn to oath to protect the moon princess. You see, the moon kingdom pretty much runs the entire solar system. They make sure that there is peace throughout all of the stars and planets, and also that there is no trouble in the other realms. The princess, was born with a powerful crystal inside of her. That crystal can take out the entire solar system if it is placed into the wrong hands. People have tried to kill her for the crystal. The Sailor Scouts, well the inner ones at least, are her body guards. They are with her all of the time, and make sure nothing happens to her. The outers plus the sun, are the protection for all of the universe. We make sure that no evil from other realms try and get through as well as make sure there is no trouble between planets. The reason why I told you all of that is because I am Sailor Sun. I'm here, along with my brother Apollo, who is currently at Sabertooth, because our father felt an evil presence in this realm. Were here to find out who or what it is, as well as make sure everyone is safe. We were told to join these two specific guild because of how much power you both possess, it helps mask our own. This is how I look on the sun. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone besides master about this whole thing unless I trusted them, and I trust you with my life." I finished gently as I looked anywhere but him.
My honey blonde fell past my waist. Adorning my forehead is the in sigma of the sun, a circle with four points around it. One point is in each direction. My eyes, which are a light purple, with flecks of gold in them. My once normal clothes, replaced by a red and gold gown that fell to my roman-sandal clad feet. I had gold arm bands on that represented my element. I hear Bickslow take in a sharp breath and I look at him quickly. His eyes are quickly running over my new self, trying to take everything in. I wait until he looks into my eyes again. I stare hard, trying to get him to understand how serious this is. He stares back, silently telling me he accepts this. I take a deep breath, readying myself for any questions that he might have.
"You said you have a brother, do you have any other siblings?" he asks. I stare at him for a couple of minutes before I burst out laughing.
"Seriously?! Out of all the things that I just told you, you go with that?" I said while trying to calm myself down.
"I do. I have Apollo, who is my twin brother, as well as a younger sister. Her name is Tika." I said, smiling fondly as an image of her sprouts in my mind.
"You said that the first born daughter of the royal family is a sailor scout. You also had said that your sailor sun. That means that you're a princess?"
"Yes. I'm the crowned princess of the sun, as well as my brother being the crowned prince."
"By Apollo, do you mean the god Apollo? Like the god of music and all of that stuff?"
"The very one. He is cocky at times because people favor him more over me but it doesn't matter."
"That means you're a goddess?!"
"Yeah. I'm the goddess of war and chaos. As well as the Keeper of Balance."
"WAIT! Keeper f Balance?"
"The Keeper of Balance means that I make sure that there is an equal amount of good with the evil and vice versa."
"Why were you sad earlier?"
"I started to miss my family."
"Who are your parents and what are they like?"
"My father is Ares, God of War, and my mother is Riga, Goddess of Peace and Tranquility. My father is very old-fashioned, like Freed, but loves to fight. My mother is a very Kind and warm-hearted woman. They balance each other out perfectly." My smile grew larger just thinking about my parents. My nods, looking happy with my answers. Suddenly, he pulls me into a hug.
"Thank you for letting me know. You have no idea how much this means to me." He said softly. I blush and pull away. I let my magic change me back into my normal clothes as I begin to unlock the door. Bickslow and I walk down stairs and head off in different directions. He heads of to The Thunder God Tribe table as I head off to my friends. For the first time since this mission started, I feel relieved. As I sit at the table, I take a quick around the group and just smile. One day, I will tell them all the truth. They deserve to know.
"Hey Rosalyn, why were you and Bickslow up in Laxus' office?" asked Natsu. I blushed slightly and was about to answer when the guild doors burst open. I stare wide eyed at the group of people standing there.
"Hey everyone! Thanks for letting us stay here for a bit!" shouted a man with blinde hair and a barely-there shirt. His eyes traveled around the guild, searching for something. His eyes stopped at Natsu and smiled wide.
"HEY NATSU! I KNOW WHO CAN BEAT YOU IN A FIGHT! HE JUST JOINED A FEW WEEKS AGO!" This strange man yelled. I winced as I covered my eyes. He quickly grabbed someone and ran over to us. When they stopped in front of us, I gasped. The man that the stanger had dragged with him was Apollo.
"Brother?" I said quietly, to shocked to say anything else. His eyes quickly shot to mine as his own widened as well.
"ROSALYN!"
TADA! After writing this chapter, I think I definitely like Bickslow and Rosalyn together. I'll have her and Gray be close friends. ANYWAY! Tell me what y'all think about this one and I'll try and update as soon as I can!
