On a plane, a young and tired 17-year old blonde male dressed in a black business suit and wearing an orange tie sleeps soundly in his seat, with his tablet in hand as Kakashi, his bodyguard, shakes him awake.

"Mr. Namikaze, we're back, it's time to wake up." Groaning, he tells Kakashi to let him sleep for 5 more minutes, having spent all night getting some documents in order before the long flight.

"You can continue your nap when you get back to the mansion." The blonde wakes up, sighing. "Fine..." Naruto exits the plane alongside his bodyguard, a white-haired male and a blonde female in their 50s. People look and are shocked at who it is that has exited the plane.

"Is that him?"

"There's no doubt about it, It's Naruto Namikaze!"

"THE Naruto Namikaze!? The CEO of UzumakiTech and Namikaze Enterprises is back in Japan!?" Several reporters set their sights on the young blonde and begin rushing towards him with cameras and microphones in hand.

"Mr. Namikaze, how does it feel to be back in Japan!?"

"Why did you leave to America for 2 years!?"

"How do you manage 2 of the largest companies in the world!?"

"Are you dating First Astronomical Velocity's bassist, Suzu Fujimi!?"

"I'm sorry but Mr. Namikaze has had a long flight back here and he can't take any questions at the moment." Kakashi told the press. The blonde known as Naruto and his entourage keep moving as more reporters and paparazzi arrive, along with several females. After ten minutes of struggling to get to the limo, the entourage manages to escape them. Naruto sighs in relief.

"Looks like Japan hasn't changed a bit." the white-haired adult male commented.

"Despite all those girls crushing on me and the press trying to get answers, it hasn't changed a bit. I just can't wait to get back to my mansion and relax because I need some real RR after staying in America for 2-years in order to help the Speedwagon Foundation and trying to get them to agree to a merge.

"Don't forget, tomorrow you have a lunch meeting at 11 am with Ryuuga Tenjouin and his family regarding the merging of our two companies and Tenjouin Enterprises. The meeting will take place-"

"In the Boardroom at the UzumakiTech Tri-Towers, I won't forget. After all, it was my idea to plan a merge with them." Naruto assured the blonde adult female.

"Tenjouin Enterprises, other companies and rival competitors have been trying to merge with them for years. It's a surprise that they agreed to merge with our companies. How did you manage to convince Mr. Tenjouin?" asked the white haired adult male.

"We just simply talked on the phone. I straight up told him that I wanted to merge companies. At first he wasn't sure if it would be a good idea, and he was close to hanging up on me, but I managed to stop him from hanging up and hear what I had to say. I convinced him that it'd help further consolidate the three companies and that it would offer a greater range of products and services to more consumers, products that would no doubt pique his interests and bring out more possibilities to the table, given UzumakiTech's products being two years more advanced than other industrialist companies, and the fact that I shut down our weapons manufacturing business since it'd create some tension between us." The two adults, plus Kakashi, had to agree, the weapons manufacturing division had to go.

"I also assured him that he would still have complete control of his company." Naruto finished.

"Not bad cowboy. First Speedwagon and now Tenjouin Enterprises. With this merge, all four companies will have a significant increase in sales and stock. As expected from you, Naruto. Your parents would've been proud of you." the white-haired adult male said, a smile on his face as he patted Naruto's shoulder.

"Yeah..."

After half and hour of driving, due to traffic, the limo arrives at a large mansion.

"Have a good rest Naruto. If you need anything, feel free to call us okay?"

"You too Jiraiya, Tsunade, Kakashi, and I'll be sure to call if I need you guys." Naruto said as he exits the limo and begins walking towards his mansion.

Sainan High

Saki and her friends Aya and Rin begin their walk home from school after a productive but weird day that involved an all too familiar orange-haired male student and his pink-haired alien bride, a machine that was shaped like an octopus, and the alien girl's bodyguard.

"Honestly, no matter what I do, that Yuuki-kun always finds a way to stop me from being with my beloved Zastin-sama. And that Lala is always spelling disaster with those inventions of hers." said Saki, letting out a sigh.

"Don't worry Saki-sama, you'll get Zastin-sama again, I assure you." Aya said, making Saki smile.

"Until then, I won't give up on my love for Zastin-sama, for love always conquers all!" Saki said with conviction, her eyes sparkling. Her bodyguard and friend, Rin, just stayed silent and kept to herself as her friends were chatting. From the look on her face, it looked like she was deep in thought. Saki noticed this after turning her attention towards the brunette.

"Hmmm? Rin, you've been a bit quiet all day. Is something bothering you?" Too deep in thought, Rin didn't hear her friend calling to her.

"Rin!?" Saki yelled in concern for her friend. That time, she heard her and replied with just a simple question: "Huh? Oh, did you need something Saki-sama?"

"Rin, you've been zoning out a lot today. Ever since we came to school today." Saki said.

"I was doing that?" Saki only nodded.

"If there's something's troubling you, you can tell us. We want to help you."

"It's...I...Saki-sama, how much do you love Zastin-sama?" Saki couldn't help but blush at this question. Rin has never asked questions about love until now. To Saki, it seemed that Rin had no interests in romance. Why would she ask about love now?

"I love him more than life itself, the love I have for him is like Romeo and Juliet, for I can't imagine a life without my Romeo." Saki replied, thinking about the Devilukean as she had hearts for eyes. Regaining her composure, she asks Rin why she asked about her feelings for Zastin.

"Do you think..." This next part was hard for Rin to say, blushing as she struggled to finish her sentence. Finally, she said it.

"Do you think there's a Romeo for me?" After finishing, steam started coming out of her head. She was never good with tapping into her girlish side.

"Rin!? Are you asking me if you think there's a soul mate for you!? This is a first. How did it come to this?" said a surprised Saki.

"Well...it's just...the love Lala and those other girls have for Yuuki-kun make them happy, even the love you have for Zastin makes you happy." Rin replied, looking away from Saki and Aya.

"That is all true, even though some of the girls that like that perverted delinquent deny or admit it." Saki added.

"I'm just wondering if maybe I can find someone out there that I can love that will make me happy..."

"Rin, as your friend and self-proclaimed Love Queen, I assure you, you will find your Romeo. He could pop out of nowhere at any given day or time, maybe even tomorrow."

"Do you think so?" Rin asked, unsure of Saki's answer. Saki just smiles as she assures RIn once more, with Aya backing her(Saki) up.

"Thank you Saki-sama, I feel a lot better now." Rin replied with a smile. "Oh, that reminds me, Saki-sama, we're to have a lunch meeting with our fathers and the the CEO of two companies called UzumakiTech and Namikaze Enterprises tomorrow. It was something about a merging."

"UzumakiTech? Namikaze Enterprises? Never heard of them. Have you?" Saki said, raising a brow.

"No, I'm not very familiar with those companies." Aya, upon pondering where she heard those names before, finally yells, "Ehhh!? You don't know!?"

"Aya, you know those companies!?" Saki yelled.

"Yes, they're two of the largest companies in the world! They even have their own magazines!" Aya answered with a smile before taking out two magazines from her bag and giving them to Saki and Rin to read.

"Wow, the tech articles for UzumakiTech are amazing! They made a robotic dog that runs on solar power, and they made a fully functional hover board!" Saki said to herself, amazed by the products the companies made.

"Namikaze Enterprises, alongside sister company UzumakiTech, manages to merge with the Speedwagon Foundation, the largest and most powerful organization in the world after the CEO of the two companies stayed in America for 2-years in order to help with constructions for new buildings for medical research and helping the foundation with the protection of plant life and wildlife." Rin said as she read a page in the magazine.

"What's the CEO's name?" Saki asked.

"Someone by the name of Naruto Namikaze." Rin replied. Saki tells Rin that she has never heard of him before asking Aya if she's heard of the CEO's name.

"I've heard of him, but what he looks like is a mystery. He shows his face in public, yet no one has ever had an actual picture of him for magazines or posts."

"How does he not have pictures online?" Saki asked, finding that hard to believe.

"He has a device on him that blurs his whole body whenever people try to take a picture of him. Apparently he doesn't like people taking pictures of him in fear that the paparazzi would use those pictures to make fake pictures and rumors." Wanting to confirm this, Rin looks up Naruto Namikaze on Google Images on her phone. She sees that several of his pictures has his whole body blurred. "You're right, I can't even tell what he looks like."

"Girls who've seen him say that he's pretty handsome." Aya commented.

"Handsome? I guess we'll find out tomorrow."

Nighttime

At a fancy 5-Star restaurant, Naruto has dinner with Jiraiya and Tsunade. Jiraiya notices that Naruto is a bit annoyed, and his food untouched. Jiraiya asks Narutpo if something was bothering you.

"What gave it away?" asked an annoyed Naruto. Right now, several girls in the restaurant are ogling at him from behind. A tick mark appears on Naruto's head.

"As much as I'd like to yell at them to leave me alone, it's not wise to. This is why I didn't want to go out to eat." Having had it, Naruto throws his napkin as he gets up and pays for his untouched meal before preparing to leave.

"You're leaving? You haven't even taken a bite of your dinner." Jiraiya replied.

"I'm not hungry for Italian food." After saying that, Naruto makes his leave.

"It's not easy being him." Tsunade said to Jiraiya.

"What did you expect? Having to run 2 companies since his parents died when he was 8 is a large responsibility." Jiraiya added.

"It was a bad idea to bring him out to eat when he didn't want to." Jiraiya had to agree. This was a mistake on his part.

Downtown Sainan

"Listening to Simple Plan on his phone, Naruto walks past several people minding their own business. Naruto observes a happy couple walking hand in hand and a kid and her parents going into a theater to watch a movie as a family. He just sighs as he continues walking. As he's walking, he notices a familiar face from across the street: A girl one-year younger than him, with long black hair and dark brown eyes looking at cats outside a pet store. Looking both ways to make sure no cars are around, Naruto safly crosses the street to meet the girl.

"You know, if you want one, you could just buy one now...Yui." focusing on Naruto, Yui develops a surprised look on her face.

"Naruto!? You're, you're back!?" Yui said.

"Evidently...Wanna go eat at a fast food restaurant and catch up?" Naruto asked with a smile.

Burger King

"I know I can buy one, it's just...they're all so cute and it's hard to choose just one." Yui answered. Right now, the two were catching up on lost times after finishing their meal over an hour ago.

"Uh huh...Yui, how long has it been since we last saw each other?" Naruto asked.

"Two years plus the 2 years you spent in America...It's been four years."

"I apologize for that. I rarely had time to call or hang out due to running my parents' companies, and I would almost always be tired." Yui tells her friend that it's fine, being well aware of how busy he was, though Naruto still felt bad about it.

"You paid for the burgers and fries we're eating right now so that kinda compensates for lost times."

"So...how's your family doing?" Naruto asked. As usual, Yui told him that parents were doing well. As for Yuu, she told Naruto that Yuu had grown to become a very shameless ladies' man.

"You don't say. And you?"

"I'm attending Sainan High. I'm a second year student as well as the Head of the Disciplinary Committee." Yui replied. "Disciplinary Committee huh, making sure students don't do anything shameless?" said Naruto, raising a brow.

"Pretty much."

"Must be a lot of work." While Yui admitted that it was a lot of work to handle all the shameless events that were going on at her school, she still considered Sainan High to be a good school despite all the shameless students and the usually perverted principal. Naruto voiced his envy towards Yui's school life, having been home-schooled by his parents and his godparents. "You were like my only friend outside of my home, which makes you very special."

"Now here you are, the very handsome, and very smart CEO of UzumakiTech and Namikaze Enterprises. And I take pride in knowing that I am friends with you." Yui said with a smile.

"Please don't say that out loud. As much as I like the success, the fame is another story." replied an annoyed Naruto.

"...You know, you should enroll to our school Naruto." Yui suggested as she spun the ice in her drink with her straw.

"Yui, I run two large and successful companies, and I have a beyond average intelligence. I'd probably skip high school and graduate college and earn several degrees if I were to take just one step on a high school sidewalk." Naruto joked, making Yui snicker.

"Okay that was very funny, but seriously, you should think about enrolling."

"I don't know..."

"We have an idol/actress who attends my school with her brother, I'm sure we can handle someone like you. And I'm sure you'll be able to handle all the strange mishaps that happen in the school." Yui assured her friend.

"Mishaps? What mishaps?" When asked, Yui couldn't help but turn red, remembering all the things that happened when Lala arrived at her school. "O-Oh uh nothing...So what do you say?" Naruto slouched in his seat as he thought about it for a few seconds.

"...I'll need some time to think about it. By tomorrow night I'll call you when I have an answer." This made Yui smile a bit.

"All right."

"By the way, I heard on the news about a year ago about some evil alien overlord threatening to destroy the Earth within 24 hours, and that some student from your school was the only one who could save it. Do you know anything about that or the student? What was that about?" Naruto asked. Yui's only reply was that it was a long story.

"Really..." Naruto said as he got up. "I guess you'll tell me all about it some other time. Right now, I gotta get back to my mansion and rest. Tomorrow I have a meeting to go to. Do you want me to walk you home?" Yui asked if he was sure he wanted to walk her home, mentioning the paparazzi.

"Yui, you should know by now that I am prepared for almost anything." he said as he pulls out a bracelet and hands it to Yui. "Put that on. When a picture of you is taken, the bracelet will blur and distort your whole body in the image."

"Very smart, and the bracelet looks very stylish."

"Thank you."

Kotegawa Residence

"Thank you for walking me home Naruto. It was nice to see you again." Yui told her friend as they approached the front door.

"You too." Yui enters her home as Naruto leaves to go back to his mansion. Inside her home, Yui recalls a memory of her and Naruto when they were 8. A young Naruto was crying in front of his parents' grave as a young Yui walked towards him.

"I can't believe they're gone Yui...Now I'm all alone..." cried a young Naruto as he hugged her friend. The young girl consoled him as she shed tears for her friend.

"Naruto, even though you can't see them, they'll always be watching over you no matter how far they are. And...you're not alone Naruto, you have Jiraiya, Tsunade, Kakashi, me and my family. You're going to be okay Naruto...You're going to be okay..."

Going forward to when they were 11, Yui gets called to the office. When she arrived there, waiting for her was Naruto, 11, holding a present for her.

"Naruto? What are you doing here?" The young Namikazelooked away, embarrassed, as he presented to her a present. "Here, I was gonna give this to you on your birthday yesterday but I was caught in a long meeting with my board of directors." Yui took the present and opened it. It's was a sculpted wooden cat.

"I spent 10 hours making it..." Loving it, the young girl hugged her friend. "Thank you thank you thank you Naruto!"

Going forward to when they were 12, Yui, feeling very sick, had to be bedridden for a few days. Naruto, 12, entered her room. A surprised Yui voiced her surprise as she coughed a bit.

"I had to make sure my #1 best friend was feeling alright. Your mom said that you've been sick in bed for 6 straight days. It's been 8 months since we last saw one another and I felt bad for not seeing you and your family as much as I used to."

"It's fine Naruto, what matters is that you're here right now." she replied.

"I'm going to go whip you a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and we can watch Magical Kyouko on TV together."

A year later, now 14, both Yui and Naruto stood in front of her house as confessed her feelings towards him. To her sadness, Naruto didn't feel the same, seeing her as only a friend. "I...I see..."

"I don't want this to change our friendship...I still want to be your friend...What do you say?" Before she could say anything, Yui's mother opened the door.

"Hello Naruto, thank you for bringing my daughter back home early." Yui enters her home without saying a word. Naruto looked at Yui one last time before the door closed on him. Feeling guilty by the fact that he made her sad, Naruto returns to his limo, with Jiraiya waiting for him inside.

"It's not easy telling a girl who has feelings for you that you don't love her back..."

"Just tell the chauffeur to drive..." said a saddened Naruto. The limo drives off into the distance.

Having finished recalling her past with Naruto, Yui, now in her room, looked at the sculpted wooden cat in her hands.

"Was the real reason why you didn't call or visit me because of that time?..."

First chapter is done! Right now I'm building up to the meeting between Naruto and Rin. Now, you find out that Naruto and Yui were the best of friends, and that Yui had feelings for him, only to be told that he doesn't feel the same way. Ouch! Does she still like him? Maybe, maybe not, can't decide. Next chapter will definitely have Naruto and Rin meet.
