Chapter 2
Hiccup walked out the door to find nobody there. Astrid was nowhere to be seen. The Dragon Academy was going to do a big race day. All of a sudden a flaming ball of fire came crashing down towards his house. Toothless pushed hiccup through the door and jumped on top of him and covered him with his wings and body. Hiccup, under Toothless, could fell the vibrations of the impact of the fireball hitting the house. He looked up towards toothless. His eyes where shut close and all of a sudden silence. "INCOMING!" shouted a Viking as another fireball came crashing into the house. After 10 seconds of silence Toothless opened his wings and gave Hiccup a confused look. Hiccup couldn't see anything but Toothless face because smoke filled the air. A big rough hand all of a sudden grabbed Hiccup by the collar and pulled him out of the smoke. It was Gobber. Seeing Hiccup being pulled away made Toothless jumped out of the smoke and run towards them. "It's an Outcast attack", Said Gobber looking towards the Outcast ships.
Hiccup knew what to do." Let's go bud", said Hiccup to his now understanding dragon. Hiccup climbed onto Toothless and took off towards the skies. Gobber ran towards the other fighting Vikings. Hiccup looked down and saw the battle field. The Outcasts were shouting fireballs out the catapults and he could see the rest of his friends. Snoutlout was trying to take down a whole Outcast ship singlehandedly, Astrid and Fishlegs were helping the Vikings on the ground and Tuffnut and Ruffnut were just trying to set things on fire. One of the ships drew Hiccups attention and then he knew why, "Alvin."
