Chapter 2: Act It Out
Phil's POV
We walk down the streets of London. The gushing breeze passing through Dan's hair. Anticipation is building up inside me. Where are we going? To a fancy restaurant? Starbucks? He always chooses something traditional, just to be safe. The further away we walk from our house, the more impatient I get.
"Are we nearly there yet?" I ask, skipping beside Dan. He chuckles and looks ahead.
"We're nearly there. Don't worry and stop whining."
"Aww. It's taking too long."
"Hey. Look, we're here now." He points to a building, with a large board on the front that writes: ICE SKATING! Ice skating? I've near been ice skating. Never all my life. I start to get all nervous. My legs tremble and my stomach lurches. I don't want to ruin his moment. I just have to hold myself together and act as if I appreciate it.
