Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Also as for the reviews, I am still new so I cannot reply properly. But know this I do not plan on having Vanitas in this story, the reason for that is that he was truly defeated in kh 3, he doesn't exist anymore, also when he was reincarnated he was given new darkness, a small amount though so he is evened out. Also as to give a hint for future chapters Ventus will regain the ability to wield a keyblade.
Chapter 2: Dwarves, Elves, and The start of the town
Ventus just woke up from his three day nap and he yawned as he turned into his human form. "Recharged and ready to go!" Ventus said to himself. "Oh! Ven-sama!" Said a female goblin who was now taller and had big breasts, they were covered but Ventus blushed deeply. "Y-yeah?" He said nervously, looking away while blushing. "You seem to be all better." The goblin girl, whom Ventus soon remembered he named Haruna, said while hugging him. Ventus was blushing like crazy and Haruna soon let go.
"I'll go get Elder Rigurd, Rigur, and Ranga." She said before heading out of the tent. "I guess naming them made them evolve...we will definitally need clothing, and new housing." Ventus said to himself before getting up. "Great Ven! Have you awakened!?" Asked a deep and manly voice. "Rigurd!" Ventus exclaimed as he soon look up at a large muscular hob goblin. "Oh right...evolution thing." Ventus said quietly. "Yeah I am awake, and it seems everyone evolved. We will definitally be needing more clothing and housing if we are gonna stay safe." He said, thinking to himself.
Ventus went outside only to be greeted by Ranga, who's tail was wagging. "Master! Allow me to express my utmost joy at your recovery!" Ranga said as his tail wagged faster. Ventus chuckled and pet Ranga as his tail wagged. "Good morning Ranga. And thank you." Ventus said. Ranga sat down after moving away a little so Ventus could pass. Ventus soon lifted up and thrown into the air as he was being celebrated. Ventus laughed as this was happening but he soon asked them to be let down and they obliged.
"Ok, now that we all got this celebration done I'd like to set down three ground rules for this village. We are all a big family and some families have rules." Ventus said. "The first rule is No attacking humans, the reason for that is that I like humans but they might bring larger numbers if we attack and befriending them will bring benefit." Ventus stated before moving on. "Second, No pushing around other monster races, you may be stronger now but don't let that go to your head or else the other race will retaliate." He added.
"And now as for the third rule. No fighting amongst yourselves, as I said three days ago, though many may not have been listening, nothing beats peace. If we all work together without fighting there can be peace." Ventus said. "Now as for our situation, who here knows the nearest town with great artisans in it?" He asked. A hobgoblin raised his hand, it was Gobta. "Ah, Gobta, I'd like you to lead me there, we will ride on the wolves, and I'd like a smaller group to follow us just incase we all run into some danger, a group of three would do." Ventus said.
Ventus gathered a group of goblins after assigning jobs to different groups who will be staying in the village. He, Gobta, Rigur, and two other hob goblins rode all the way to the dwarven kingdom known as Dwargon. After a few days they made it there, Ventus ordered Rigur and the other two goblins to stay put as He and Gobta went into the city. Ventus kept the form of a slime since his human form had only pants for now. "Hey hey hey hey!" Said a male human who approached the two. "What is with these two monsters!" Said the human.
"We're not inside yet so we can still kill it, right?" Asked another human. "Could you please not, we aren't here to cause trouble." Ventus asked. "Huh, a talking slime? Oh well We'll still kill ya and take what you have." The human said. Ventus sighed and turned into his human form. "I was staying in my slime form because this human form barely has any clothes, so please do not attack, we barely have anything of use to you." Ventus explained. "
The humans all looked at him in shock, Ventus looked like nothing more than a 16 year old human.
"I mean I could try using mimic to make more clothes but I doubt that would work." Ventus sighed and turned back to his slime form. "Gobta, please ignore these idiots." Ventus said, turning his aura on, making the adventurers scared. He soon turned off his aura and were allowed inside only to be locked up due to how the guards sensed his menacing aura. "Please let us go, I only turned my aura on to frighten those adventurers, we really mean no harm." Ventus said to a dwarf gaurd.
"It goes along with the reports of witnesses anyways I will let you go just this once." The dwarf gaurd said only to be interrupted by another guard. A group of mining dwarves were badly injured my an armosaurus. Ventus sighed and used a barrel and filled it with healing potion. "Take this barrel that I filled with healing potion and help them! If they are badly injured they need to be healed!" Ventus said as he dumped a handful on gobta, who was a little bruised, proving that it was a healing potion.
The guard took the potion and hours later he came back with a group of more dwarves. "You saved them, I thank you!" The dwarf gaurd said. "I heard you gave us that potion! Thank you!" Said one dwarf. "My arm was nearly ripped off. Even if I'd survived, I would've lost my job. Thank you!" Another dwarf said. The third dwarf just nodded happily. "No problem, I just like to help others." Ventus said. The guard let him free and Ventus decided to just carry around Gobta as he was given a cloak to wear with his human form as well as a shirt.
He was brought to a skilled blacksmith after chatting with the guard and he smiled. Kaido, the gaurd, introduced Ventus to Kaijin, who was his elder brother. He also saw the three dwarves he helped and they were surprised to see him in his human form. The dwarf brothers were named, Dord, Myrd, and Garm. "This is that slime that saved you?" Kaijin asked. "Yep." Dord said. Kaijin sat down infront of Ventus and bowed. "You have my thanks." Kaijin said. "No problem, my name is Ven, I'd like to chat with you about something but you seem busy." Ventus said.
"Yeah, I was ordered to make 20 magic longswords for the army and that will take really long." Kaijin said, showing Ventus a magic sword. "Hm, can I try something?" Ventus asked as he took the sword, inspecting it, he learned more of his abilities from great sage and wanted to try one out. "Go ahead." Kaijin said. Ventus absorbed the sword and used magistone ore he collected to copy the one sword perfectly twenty times. "Woah!!!" All of them said. "There, twenty longswords, now you won't get in trouble and we can chat." Ventus said.
Kaijin inspected all of the swords and smiled. "They are all perfect! Thank you Ven-sama. Now how about we drop these off then go to a tavern. There we can discuss what we need to." Kaijin said. Ventus nodded and left Gobta at the blacksmith's while he, Kaijin, and his brothers dropped off the swords and went to the tavern where there were lots of beautiful elves. Ventus explained what he needed and Kaijin nodded, some of the elves who were there stared at Ventus curiously as he had his hood on.
"Ven-sama, I think they want you to take your hood off." Kaijin said. "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you. I look kind of younger than I actually am." Ventus said as he took his hood off, his hair spiking up. All the elf girls stared at him in surprise and some of the younger elf girls blushed since Ventus looked quite cute to them. "Cute!!!" Some of the elves exclaimed and one of them hugged Ventus, making him blush, more of them hugged him making him blush even more.
"Aqua would kill me if she saw me in this situation, or at least try to take me away from them." Ventus thought to himself. An elf offered him a drink and Ventus tried to decline it. "I'm not thirsty." He said but the elf girl insisted and Ventus gave up and took a swig of some alcohol, his face getting flushed. "This is the first time I ever drank an alcoholic beverage." He said quietly. "Aqua would kill me if she saw me drinking this stuff." Ventus thought. "This is really the first time you ever drank alcohol!?" Asked Kaijin.
"I look like I'm a 16 year old, I'm only 18. Yet people don't believe me because of how young I look." Ventus explained. "You're 18!" Asked all the elves and the group of dwarves, all staring at him like he was insane. "What?" He asked. "Well, you do look young but we expected you were at least older than 18." Kaijin said. "Well maybe my soul is older than my body." Ventus said chuckling. An elf who had a crystal ball started using it to see how old Ventus truly was. She gasped in shock and saw a war, where Ventus was a human.
"Thousands of years old...his heart is over a thousand years old!" The elf whispered and Ventus heard this and nodded sadly. Everyone stared at the elf and the crystal ball, watching a scene of the war where Ventus was fighting. "Is that...Ven?" Kaijin asked as he looked at Ven. "My past life...I was named Ventus back then...that war took everything from me and my friends. But it didn't take my life..to be honest I don't know how old I truly am." Ventus whispered and he stood up staring at his hand.
"Wasting time here aren't we Kaijin?" Asked Vesta, a rival of Kaijin's. "He got his swords all delivered, if you wish to rain on someone's parade go somewhere else." Ventus said as he put his hood up, ready to leave. "Hm, and what is a little boy gonna do about it?" Vesta asked before pouring alcohol onto Ventus rudely, or at least he tried to when Kaijin got up and punched him in the face twice. "Don't harm my guest you idiot." Kaijin said. "Wasn't that the minister!?" Ventus asked. "Ven, you need some artisans right? Would you settle for me and my brothers?" Kaijin asked.
Ventus nodded and soon all of them, minus Vesta, and the elf girls where in a jail cell, awaiting a trial. Kaijin explained why he and vesta were at odds with each other and then they were brought into court. They saw the king of dwargon, king Gazel. Kaijin and his brothers were exiled along with Ven and Gobta, while Vesta was stripped of his title and forbid to set foot in front of the king. Ventus, Gobta, the dwarves, Rigur, the other two goblins, and the tempest wolves made their way back to the goblin village afterwards and began working.
