Umbridge put a spell on the diary that checked weather it was true or not. When the diary glowed, it showed that it was the truth. All the Slytherins smiled. Umbridge smirked; this diary would reveal all the lies that potter had been spreading. Snape smiled (truly), it would reveal what a pampered and spoiled prince Potter is. Umbridge spelled the diary to read itself.
"May 1, 1985. Dear Diary, My name is Harry Potter. I am 5 years old."
"Merlin Harry, you sound like a girl" exclaimed Ron
"Give me a break, I was 5" said Ron. Mentally thanking Selena for the spell check on the Diary.
"I live with my Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon and Cousin Dudley"
Harry paled, thinking what will happen when everything about the Dursleys will be revealed.
"Aunt Petunia is my mother's sister. Aunt told me that mommy and daddy died in a car crash when they were drunk"
"THAY TOLD YOU THAT JAMES AND LILY WERE DRUNK AND DIED IN A CAR CRASH? ALBUS I TOLD YOU THAT THEY WERE THE WORST SORT OF MUGGLES" screamed McGonagall
All teachers were screaming. Students were discussing among themselves. First time, all the Slytherins were silent.
"SILENCE!" screamed Dumbledore
"They don't let me go to school like Dudley and they make me do all the chores in the house. Today I finished the dishes, painting the fence, watering the plants and cooking lunch. After that Aunt send me to my cupboard where I am now writing."
The screams started again. Harry was trying to make himself invisible. Snape was shocked; surly the boy couldn't have a childhood like his.
"SILENCE!" screamed Dumbledore
"My Cousin Dudley always plays 'Harry Hunting' with other children from the neighborhood."
They were similar in so many ways! How did he not get sorted in Slytherin? thought Snape.
"Who wants to go 'Dursley Hunting'?" asked Fred
Half of the school raised their hands (Including the Slytherins). People looked at them skeptically.
"What? It may be Potter but no muggles hurt of us" said Malfoy
"Only thing I like of living here is my best friend"
All girls cooed. Ron looked at him weirdly and Hermione was grinning.
"Her name is Selena"
"Your best friend was a girl?" asked Ron
"So? She was the only one who showed me at least some type of kindness" said Harry
"Are you still friends? Is she a muggle?" asked Hermione
By this time whole school was listening their conversation.
"Yes we still are friends. And no she's not a muggle. She is a pureblood witch." Said Harry
"Why didn't she come to Hogwarts?" asked Ron
"Her Mother was American. So she attends Ilvermorny" replied Harry
"Selena is the prettiest person on the planet"
"Really? Are you dating?" asked Hermione
"We are not dating" said Harry, adding the silent 'yet' in his head
Just then a bang echoed across the hall. Everyone turned to see…
