Everyone was at the mountain as the watch the video feed of The League and Darkseid before the camera man got incinerated. About an hour later a tattered Superman came into the room holding a black cape no body or anything just the cape.
"I'm sorry he's gone." And the man of steel let a tear slide down his cheek. Dick ran up to the black mass in a mess of trying not to cry in front of the team or pulling out kryptonite and killing superman. Losing the fight of tears. With a few hiccups he said I'm calling the family up. Leaving the room and coming back with robin and his hood up trying to hide tears leaking through his mask.
"I'll call Tim and Oracle if you find Jay." A small 'Tt' was heard then the room filled with clicking of the keyboards. The league left to tell the team what happened as the bat family entered the zeta tubes mourning over their 'father' the last on to arrive was Tim he was running in wide eyed and yelled "I'm not telling Talia and Salina." The three boys in the room said one thing "Oh Shit."
