Lucy stared at the little bundle in her arms. It was a girl, and her skin was a bit of an olive tone. She was a little surprised, as both Gray and her had relatively pale skin. Then again, she thought, Gray mostly stayed inside. If he was outdoors for a long period of time there was a relatively high chance he'd get sunburnt. Regardless, Gray looked good tanned.
Gray made his way over, "Everything alright?" Lucy nodded absentmindedly as she stroked the baby's head. Gray tilted his head, "What's her name?" Lucy was still staring at the child, noticing little tufts of light green hair. It was gentle, like a small sproutling popping out of the ground. The way flowers would when spring came again. Suddenly the baby let out a loud squall and her eyes opened. The eyes were a dark blue, with silver around the edges. It reminded her of the Eclipse Keys she and her friends had to use to return the Eclipse Spirits home.
Feeling her will Capricorn popped into existence with pen and paper. He bowed, "Lucy-sama." She took them from his outstretched hand and scribbled on it: Spring, for her hair that reminds me of a bud rising out of the ground. Key for her eyes, the Eclipse Keys we used long ago. And Heartfilia, for the love I will shower her with during her childhood, when mine was vacant. Gray nodded and smiled thanks at the sea goat spirit.
Due to Lucy's refusal to speak, Capricorn became her voice. Sometimes it hurt Gray to know she wouldn't speak to him, but Polysuica said that it was protection to Lucy. Loke and Scorpio revealed that Natsu had regularly threatened Lucy about telling the rest of the guild what he did to her. Gemini explained that sometimes Natsu would get rough with her, particularly when he thought she was getting in the way of his battle.
When they presented Spring to the guild, they cheered. Asuka was in her late teens by the way, and she had grown up rather well. Everyone cooed over the baby, no one denied the child's inherent beauty.
As Spring grew up Levy, Wendy, Jura, Gray, and Lucy all taught her a little of each of their magic. The end result was Spring knowing how to use Solid Script Magic, draw and create runes, read all types of runes, heal minor wounds and illnesses, speedup growth of various plants, manipulate rock to a small extent, use both dynamic and static ice make magic, and summon a few Celestial Spirits.
Spring didn't like to fight. She was soft spoken and exceptionally shy. However, she had a brilliant and vibrant personality that drew others towards her.
Gray adored Spring. Her hair was a light mint green, her skin a pretty bronze gold tone, and her eyes were a dark silvery blue. It was hard to tell that she was Lucy and Gray's daughter. She shared almost no resemblance to either of them. In fact, she looked like Bisca in terms of hair color, but several tones lighter.
The only way Spring even looked like them was by the eyes, that dark silver blue.
"Solid Script: Water." Water spurted out of the Light Pen that Spring held. Levy nodded, looking over her Gale Reading glasses,
"Impressive Spring. Can you do that, only water coming out in the shape of the word?" Spring shook her head, "I'm not powerful enough." Levy nodded, "Well keep practicing and you'll get powerful enough." Spring was 14 now, and was practicing with her various mentors. Jura was next. He watched her as she took a seed and closed her eyes. Slowly a beautiful stargazer lily grew and bloomed from Spring's hand. Jura remained silent as Spring slammed her hands together. A small rock tower rose from the ground, reaching Spring's petite form at 4'8.
Gray promised his daughter that she'd pass the 5 foot mark. She turned to her father and mouthed the words, Ice Make: Tiger! Ice Make: Sword. Appropriately, a snow tiger appeared, however it was not crystalline. It was more powdery, and it wasn't shiny or smooth. The sword was similar, but it was smooth and had delicate designs running along the blade. Gray smiled at her.
The next person Spring turned to was Wendy. The little dragon slayer had finally grown up. She stood at an impressive 5'11, Romeo, her fiancé, stood at a nice 6'3. Even her breasts had filled out nicely, fitting into a 3C cup. Wendy waited for Spring to start. She knew that the mint-haired girl was tired from the display she had put on for her other three mentors. Spring closed her eyes before chanting, "Verniere! Arms!" Wendy glowed the appropriate colors and then she signaled to Gajeel, who promptly broke the rabbit's leg before laying it in front of Spring. Spring concentrated and a sea green light emitted from her hands. The rabbit's leg glowed for a couple of minutes before it righted itself.
